Chapter 145 Throw Up Finnegan clenched his fists, a furious look on his face.
Matthias egged him on by saying, âWell? Youâre not going to be a sore loser now, are you? Hurry up drink!â
âIâll drink it for you!â Mandy said as she picked up a bottle and started chugging away.
This time, however, Finnegan did not stop her.
âHow dare you call yourself a man when you let Mandy drink on your behalf?â Ariendel exclaimed disdainfully.
The other pretty girls chimed in and mocked him as well.
and âSheâs my woman, so whatâs wrong with her helping me out a little? You guys can carry on with this on your own. Iâm done!â Finnegan replied solemnly.
After downing an entire bottle, Mandy clutched at her tummy with her face burning bright red. âYeah, weâre done!â
Her stomach was hurting badly, and she felt a strong urge to throw up.
âYou can quit if you call yourself a coward three times and roll out of this private room, Finnegan!
Otherwise, youâll have to keep playing until youâre able to get the next player to take your place!â
Matthias challenged.
âDonât push it too far!â Finnegan shouted.
âHow are we pushing it too far? Itâs not our fault you canât keep up, you f*cking coward!â
âMind your language, Matthias!â Mandy snapped at him.
Matthias shrugged nonchalantly. âIâm just stating the facts here. Weâll never chicken out like him!â.
Finnegan slammed his hand on the table and said, âWant me to keep playing, huh? Fine, but letâs change the rules a little bit. Sips will be upgraded to glassfuls, and glassfuls will upgraded to bottles. Iâll keep playing if you guys have the guts to!â
His. loud voice stunned everyone around him.
Even Matthias couldnât help but tense up and turn to Vilmar, who narrowed his eyes and replied with a smile, âSure! Weâll play by your rules if that makes you happy! Youâre not going to chicken out on us again, are you?â
Matthias believed that Finnegan was simply bluffing to scare them into quitting.
Finnegan seemed to hesitate a little when he heard that, which made Matthias all the more certain about his guess.
Confident that Finnegan was just bluffing, Matthias added, âThatâs right! We donât mind playing by your rules, but are you able to handle it?â
Finnegan gritted his teeth and clenched his fists as he replied, âOf course! I wonât quit until everyone here has had their turn!â

Matthias let out a hearty chuckle. âAll right, then! Letâs see who chickens out halfway through!â
âFinnegan?â Mandy called out to him worriedly while clutching at her tummy.
However, Finnegan didnât seem to hear her and proceeded to spin the wheel.
He looked just like a gambling addict with the way he was clenching his fists.
âHahaha!â
Matthias and the others burst out laughing about ten seconds later.
âYou really did this to yourself, man! Look what youâve done! You have to drink three bottles instead of three glasses!â Ariendel exclaimed while wiping the tears off his face.
As Finnegan had upped the ante, he had to down three bottles of alcohol.
âYou really are down on your luck, huh? Here, Iâll help you with two bottles,â Mandy said with a wry smile as she picked up a bottle of liquor.
âOkay!â Finnegan nodded and grabbed another bottle for himself while everyone watched on gleefully.
This time, however, Finnegan drank it very slowly as though it were poisonous or something.
His face turned pale after he finally downed an entire bottle, and he was drenched in cold sweat.
Mandy was halfway through drinking the second bottle when she put it down and ran into the restroom.
The urge to throw up was too much for her to bear, so she couldnât be bothered to hide it anymore.
She threw up so much that her face was pale, and she couldnât walk straight by the time she came out the restroom.
Ariendel quickly stepped forward to hold her steady. âMandy! Are you okay?â
Mandy shook her head and sat down next to Finnegan. âI canât do this anymore, Finnegan.â
Finnegan pointed at the bottle, which was half-empty, and said, âYou can stop after finishing this one.
Iâll handle the rest.â
Mandy stared at him in disbelief but did as told and forced herself to finish the bottle of alcohol anyway.
Realizing that Finnegan was probably doing this on purpose, she started to regret using Finnegan as a shield.
âHow can you even call yourself a man, Finnegan? Didnât you see that Mandy went to throw up just now?â Ariendel yelled angrily.
As though he didnât hear her, Finnegan continued spinning the wheel.
Everyone, including Mandy, fell silent and stared at the wheel.
Feeling relieved when he saw the arrow stop at the box that had the next player drink, Finnegan leaned back and said, âFinally, itâs someone elseâs turn to do the drinking!â
Mandy, too, felt glad that she could finally stop drinking.

O Vilmar and the others were a little disappointed that Finnegan got a break.
In order to keep him playing, Vilmar shot Matthias a glance and motioned at him to spin the wheel.
âWatch this!â the latter shouted as he spun the wheel with all his might.
Everyone watched on intensely as the wheel spun rapidly.
âHahaha! You sure are an unlucky one, Finnegan!â
The arrow indicated that the previous player, which was Finnegan, would have to down a bottle.
Once again, everyone at the table flashed him sly grins in response as they waited for him to start drinking.
âF*ck!â Finnegan exclaimed as he grabbed a bottle and started chugging it down.
âIâll continue spinning the wheel, then,â Matthias said after watching Finnegan finish the entire bottle.
He then proceeded to spin the wheel, only to have it land on the box that had the next player drink.
Matthias shoved the wheel in front of Vilmar and said, âYouâre up, Mr. Vilmar.â
âMy luck canât be that bad, right?â Vilmar said with a chuckle as he spun the wheel.
Everyone fell silent when they saw what the arrow pointed at.
Vilmarâs face turned red with rage, and he clenched his right fist in anger and frustration.
Three glasses? According to Finneganâs rules, thatâd be three bottles!
âAwesome! I thought my luck was bad, but it seems yours isnât any better, Mr. Vilmar! Since this is your first round, you wonât ask someone to help you out, will you?â
Vilmar was going to have someone help him with the drinks, but Finneganâs words stopped him from doing so.
After all, Finnegan had downed his drinks himself in the first round.
âOf course! Iâll drink them myself in the first round!â Vilmar replied as he grabbed three bottles of liquor.
He then proceeded to down the first bottle fairly quickly.
Vilmar was still doing well with the second bottle, but the effects of his stomach irritation began to kick in halfway through the third bottle.
Even so, Vilmar fought back the urge to throw up and finished the entire bottle anyway.
Finnegan gave him a thumbs up as he said, âWell done, Mr. Vilmar! Keep it going, then! Youâre not going to quit now, are you?â
That was exactly what they had told Finnegan earlier.
Unable to stand his attitude, Ariendel snapped at him, âDonât worry! Mr. Vilmar is definitely game to keep -going even if none of us are!â
|||
O The corner of Vilmarâs lips twitched as he felt an urge to slap Ariendel across the face.
However, to protect his ego, Vilmar had no choice but to suppress his feelings of discomfort and agree to it. âOf course! You guys had better not chicken out if you have to drink after this!â
Matthias and the others were grinning gleefully at each other as they knew Vilmar was reminding them to teach Finnegan a harsh lesson.
Finnegan pointed at the wheel and said, âYou can save that for after you spin the wheel and get someone else to drink.â
âOh, I will,â Vilmar replied with a sneer before spinning the wheel a second time.
Finneganâs laughter echoed throughout the private room when the wheel came to a halt. âLooks like itâs another three bottles for you, Mr. Vilmar! Good luck!â
Vilmarâs facial muscles were twitching as he muttered through cleriched teeth, âMatthias! Tobias!
Hogan! Down a bottle each!â
âI have a feeling youâre going to need everyone here to help you out,â Finnegan said with a chuckle.
âThatâs impossible!â
