Chapter Twenty One

"Will you be my fictional boyfriend?"

I drove the car while the mad woman beside me sang a song named mad woman. If I say that she doesn't listen to any one other artists than Taylor Swift, I would be correct. She shouted the lyrics as if some heartbroken female lead of a Bollywood movie.

" Cause no one likes a mad womannnnnnnnnnnnn "

The song had some good lyrics but the one beside me didn't know how to sing well. Not gonna lie.

" Hufffff. I'm so so tired "

" So sleep now. " She shook her head and started the babbling.

" Do you know Aaron? " I raised my brow in confusion.

" You don't knowww himm??? Sed. He is a white man with blue something eyes and he has blonde hairs, he is veryyy handsome. More than you. " Ouch.

" Oh is he? Where did you meet him? " I asked curiously.

" That's the climax. I never met him, I can never meet him. Our worlds are very different " she said and wiped her non existing tears.

" Why? "

" I belong to this cruel real worlddddd and he belongs to the good-good-good fictional world. Sad story " Her facial expressions proved that she could have a good career in acting. I laughed at this and looked at her still looking out of the window with a pout.

" Stop stop stop " I ignored her voice.

" Arey Stop the car! "

" Stoppppppppp itttttttttttttt! "

" You won't stoppp? "

" Okay fine, get ready to meet Mafia Queen Ananya now " she muttered while flaring her nostrils like the cartoon character.

What will she even do?

" Help! Help! Help! He's kidnapping me. Someone help this damsel in distress who is kidnapped by this good-looking villian. Help help help! " She shouted, her head almost outside the window.

" Hey fellow over there, with hella good hair, HELP ME! " She gave me a side eye and smirked.

Why am I stuck here? Normal Ananya was already hard to handle, Drunk one is crazier.

Forcefully, I had to stop the car or else I'll have to spend the night at jail.

" Saving you from trouble is going to get me in trouble someday. " She  couldn't stop giggling at this.

" Why did you ask me to stop the car, Madam? " I asked.

" Uh " She looked out the window and searched for something on the road.

" There was a hand-some guy on the road, I wanted youuu to seeeee him. But now he's lost. All because of you " she glared at me.

" Seriously, Chamatkar "

" You want to know a secret? Come closer " I obeyed and went closer. She came more closer and now there was only a little air between my left and her right cheek. She whispered in my ear. I gulped the Saliva down my throat.

" I have supppper powers to kill you if you call me that again. Mind it. "

I shook my head and settled back into my previous position.

" Oh which super powers? " I asked.

" Superpowers are supposed to be  secret. That reminds me, Why aren't you a bad man? "

Hein?

[What?]

" Bat man* Oral Typo sorry. Leave it. Bye " She went out from the car within a second slamming the door. Damn. Why did I forget the child lock? I came out of the car too and ran behind her.

" Ananya, wait " I shouted. She stumbled but ran anyway. Without wearing her footwear too.

" Catch me if you can " she shouted and ran faster. I went behind her and was just a few steps behind her until she lost her balance and fell.

When I reached there, she was sitting on the ground, with tears in her eyes and laughing.

" Are you okay? " I asked and sat on my knees to match her level.

" Do I look okay? " She said in between her giggles while laughing.

" Are you crying or laughing? " I asked, confused and tensed at the same time.

" Both " she said continued whatever weird thing it was.

" Why does this always happen with me? " She laughed and still her eyes were filled with tears. She was hurt, I can tell that by the way she fell.

" It was nothing. Kuch bhi nahi hua. Chalo "  I said to motivate her and brushed off the dust from her hands. I kept my both palms on her cheeks and wiped the tears gently.

[It was nothing, nothing happened come]

" Aaja chal uth ja abh "  I managing myself and her too, stood up from the ground.

[Come on Stand up now]

" My legggg! " She whined.

" Go run more like a drunkard " she made an innocent face and pouted.

" Ghar chale abh? "  I asked her and she nodded. I laughed remembering the sight of her laughing and crying.

[Let us go home now?]

" You, Don't laughhhh at me " she slapped my arm and I laughed hard. " I hope you fall like this one day. Evil human "

" Sure. You'll take me home then? " I asked and she shook her head.

" I w-will leave you there only. Huh "

" So I think I should do the same right now " I smiled mischievously.

" Y-You can't do thattttt. You are a pyaara pyaara insaan " she smiled brightly showing her teeths

[You are a lovely lovely human]

" Acha ji "

[Oh is it?]

" Hanji "

[Yes]

We walked towards the car which was just in front of us.

Atleast she forgot about the lifting part. Or else I expected her to order me again to life her for a few steps only.

" What else am I? "

" A well sculptured gentleman who keeps quiet most of the time. And when he speaks he speaks about the embarrassing things and I did and teases the hell of me and calls me the word I am starting to hate. " She said after we settled inside the car.

" Wow. That's correct. I love to do that "

" Why do you tease me only? Tease someone else too. Sabke samne toh muh nahi khulta, mujhe hi Target karta hai " she scoffed.

[Why do you tease me only? Tease someone else too. He can't open his mouth in front of anyone, and targets me only]

Whatever she said was on point. But I love to tease her.

" Cause you're my favouriteeee. " I replied and shrugged while chuckling.

" Bigboss mujhe Target Kiya ja raha hai. Bigboss " she said while looking up.

[Bigboss I'm getting targetted. Bigboss.]

I shook my head and laughed at this dramatic creature.

The next 10 mins of the ride were her ranting about something then the other and then the other. And somehow it ended up to the fictional world she created.

" I want to go into the fictional world " she cried.

" I want to meet my book boyfriends. There are so many of them. Thier life is so set and atleast it has drama. Mine is so boring. Sleep eat work repeat. I swear I love the drama but it doesn't love me "

" Did you get the reference? " She asked and I shook my head. What reference?

" I'll have to work hard on making you a Swiftie I guess "

" Lol "

We finally reached on our floor and I got us out of the elevator. I kept her heels down, wore the scrunchie she gave me because she didn't want to tie her hair, handed her the water bottle and kept her handbag to find the keys to her apartment.

" Shushh. Mr. " She whispered and I ignored her.

" Mr searching for something in my handbag! " I couldn't find the keys to her house.

" Where are the keys? " I asked her and hoped for her to reply without any nonsense.

" Kirti has the keys. " She shrugged and then continued to sing a song she made up.

" Mr searching something in my hand baggg, tun tun

Mr picking up my heels without the taggg, tun tun

Mr getting the gentleman hashtaggg, tun tun " I know the situation was serious but this cracked me up so bad.

" Now what are we supposed to do? " She didn't give me a response but continued murmuring the three lyrics on repeat. I took out my phone from the pocket and recorded her while she was vibing to her made up song.

It was funny.

But what am I supposed to do now? I obviously can't leave her like this. I'll can take her to my home but what if she gets mad about her when sober? I mean, obviously, it can make her uncomfortable?

Calling Kirti was a waste of time because her phone went off.

" Ananya " she still vibed to her song and ignored me.

" Ananya "

" Ananya! "

" I'm ignoring you " she muttered.

" Why? "

" My life, my wish "

" Okay. But are you comfortable with spending a night at my home? As the keys aren't there with me or with you. And I don't think you would like if I kept you here in this condition " I explained.

" This is all so filmyyyyyy, I love this " she said with a cute expression. I smiled and opened the door having no other choice, she went inside directly and I picked her stuff from outside and kept them on the  empty space I found and closed the door.

" You'll be my Juliet and I'll be your Romeo " she sang now and while spinning in circles.

This woman can not take alcohol well.

" Okay, I'll be your Juliet afterwards. Now go and sleep " I said and stopped her, keeping my hands on her shoulders and pushed her till we reached the room.

" It is so hotttt here " I turned the fan on when she said it.

" Because I'm present here " she looked at me with an amused smile and her mouth hung open.

I started laughing at her reaction and she joined me. Once we were done, I went towards her with the claw clip I found in her handbag turned her around and collected her hair in my fist, rolled them and tied them up.

" I have one wish. " She stated.

" Okay. Go and sleep right now. "

" No. Complete my wish then I'll sleep. "

" Ananya! "

" Pleaseeee " she showed me the puppy eyes. This is not fair.

" What is it? "  I asked.

" Will you be my fictional boyfriend? " She asked and I narrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

" What nonsense? "

" Meaning, I wanted to tell them so much I had in my heart, but as I can't, I'll manage it with you. " She said.

" Who is your fictional boyfriend? " I asked her.

" There are so many from so many tropes. Do you know the tropes? Like Mafia romance, Office Romance, Teen, Marriage of convience, Contract Marriage, Fake dating " she went on.

" What is fake dating? "

" Arey buddhu! It means that, two people act like they are dating in front of people because of some reason or other. And they fool the world but at the end they fall in love. Simple. Sometimes they don't too. But you know, I want to experience that once in my life. Fooling people is so funnnn " she laughed senselessly.

" Ohh. That's something new. Okay now tell what you wanted to. And then sleep "

" Yes yes. I want to tell you that I love you so much, endlessly, senselessly. Not you, haan, my character. " I nodded and she continued. "And that this world without you is so boring so you need to take me to your world. Where everything is good, where you like me too. In this world people like you are hard to find, so good, like a gentleman. Sahil is an exception, okay. "

Unknowingly, blood rushed into my cheeks.

" You look so cute while blushing. Aww "

" Okay now you're going to sleep, right? "

" Nooo. " She took a step backwards and I knew that she was going to run again so I took one forward too.

" Yess "

" No! " She said and again took a step backwards. I kept up with her and moved ahead but kept my distance.

" Yes "

" Nonono "

This went for a while and when with the last 'No' she hit the end of the bed and lost her balance. She reached out towards me and held my jacket for some support which ended up making me lose my balance too. She fell on the bed first and I fell too, but on the support of my elbows, to keep some distance between us so she doesn't get crushed under my weight.

She closed her eyes in the fear and and her eyelashes flickering rapidly. When her body understood that she landed safe, she opened her eyes with parted lips and looked at me. I looked back into her eyes and something inside me wished for this moment to pause. I felt the current pass through my body and my heart beat increased. Both of our heartbeats increased, and synced and heard.

The pure silence in which we could even hear the clock ticking and our tranced ended when a familiar voice trailed off.

" Surprise... "
