âThe weather may have started to warm up lately, but your body needs time to slowly adjust. Iâll prescribe you some medication to help with that, so make sure you take them on time, okay?â Natalie said with a smile after taking his pulse.

âDonât mention it, Grandpa. Honestly, you really donât have to keep thanking me for every little thing,â Natalie replied.
Kenneth sipped on his tea and exclaimed with a sigh, âSometimes, I still dream of how I used to think Yara was my savior, and it reminds me of how foolish I used to be. Fortunately, we were able to correct that mistake and make things right before it was too late. Iâm very glad to have found my real savior in time before I make even more irreversible mistakes!â
âWe should just let bygones be bygones, Grandpa. Right now, Iâm satisfied with having Franklin, Sophia, Xavian, Clayton, and Yumi by my side,â Natalie replied.
âYou sure are incredibly mature despite your young age, Natalie!â Kenneth exclaimed while staring at her in admiration.

After leaving the guesthouse, Stevenâs mind was in a mess as he made a trip to the Bowers manor.
He tensed up in surprise when he got there and saw Natalie inside. âYou... W-What are you doing here?â
âSteven! How could you be so rude to Natalie? Her presence is very much welcomed here! Are you trying to kick her out in front of me?â Kenneth scolded him angrily while putting his teacup down.
âIâm sorry, Grandpa. Thatâs not what I meant.â Steven glanced nervously at Natalie as he continued, âI-I just wasnât expecting to see her here, thatâs all!â
He had yet to regain his composure after seeing Samuel shirtless at Lunaâs place earlier, so bumping into Natalie immediately after nearly drove him insane.
Natalie shot him a glance and asked with a faint smile, âWhatâs wrong, Steven? Why are you acting like youâve just seen a ghost? Do I really look that scary to you?â
Steven rubbed his nose awkwardly as he explained, âO-Of course not! I was just a little surprised, thatâs all! You and Grandpa are probably just overthinking things! Besides, I really love having you as a sister-in-law, so why would I not welcome you here?â
Kenneth stroked his beard as he said, âI suppose it is time for you and Samuel to plan your wedding.â
Natalie pursed her lips and kept quiet, but the look of joy and shyness in her eyes was clear as day. They had indeed been planning their wedding, and she was expecting for him to propose to her in a few days.
Steven felt a lot worse when he heard that and recalled what he had seen at the guesthouse earlier.
Had they seen how Samuel responded earlier, I doubt theyâd be able to think that with such certainty!
