Lily's POV~
"MG, MG don't!" "Landon!"
"*Evil laugh* My name, little one, is Kia Parker"

I shot awake. Breathing heavily, I get up. MG, Rafael, and Landon are going to be in trouble. I have to find them. Writing a small note about where I was going, I set it on the nightstand for Hope to find if I'm not back for a while.
I do a locator spell on them, but nothing happens, they must have been cloaked. "All right guess I'm doing this the old fashioned way." I say and I speed off into the woods.
After searching for a good hour, I heard them. Well, I heard Rafael screaming Landon's name. Running to them, MG is feeding on Landon, and Rafael is chained to a tree. It's a full moon. The worst time for MG and I to be near Rafael. I go to stop MG, but it's too late. He drops Landon's dead body to the ground and Rafael screams.
"MG, MG we have to go. Now." I try to say to him, but it's no use. He turns to me and his eyes turn red and the vein under them turn black. He goes to try and bite me but I throw him back, not paying attention to the wolf behind me.
Big mistake.
Turning around once I hear a growl, Rafael broke his chains and attacked me. I dodged him, but not without getting bitten. There's a lot of blood coming from my hip where Raf bit me, I do a spell to stop the bleeding. But there's a downside to that spell, it's a cloaking spell. A defense mechanism I had learned in a book, you get attacked by something, it will hide you from being found and stop bleeding. In this case, it's a lose-win situation, I won't die from blood loss, bit thanks to the cloaking of the spell, I might die of the werewolf venom. I fall to the ground, the venom is starting to set in and spread, looking around, MG got bit too.

Hope's POV~
I woke up in the middle of the night, Lily wasn't here. I saw a note on my nightstand so I picked it up.
"Rafael, Landon, and MG are in trouble. I went to find them. If I'm not back in an hour, get help. 10:45. ~Lily"
It's 12:30. I went to find Dr. Saltzman, and I found him in the werewolf transition areas. "Dr. Saltzman, Lily left me this note. And she isn't back yet." I showed him the note and he looks at me with a worried face. "Landon, MG, and Rafael are missing. We need to find them. Tonight isn't a night for two vampires, one being my daughter, to go missing with an unchecked werewolf." He says and my eyes go wide. "It's a full moon."
We found Rafael. He's messed up. "MG. Landon. Lily." He says and shakes a little. "Hey, Raf, what happened to them?" I ask and he looks up at us. There's blood on his face. "I can't remember," He says and we take him inside.
"Lunar psychosis." Ric says making me look at him. "Wait that's a thing?" "Stop talking. Making noise." Rafael says before growling and going to attack us. Emma does a spell that slows his heart. "Its a thing. Lunar psychosis, which means that your mind is in flux, trapped between your wolf and human states. Making it hard to bridge the gap and access your memories like you usually would. It's very rare. It only happens after a premature reversion." Emma informs us as she sits Rafael down.
"So something caused your body to shift back before the full moon was over, leaving you like this," I say and he looks freaked out. "W-what kind of something?" he asked and my eyes fill with tears. "Usually trauma. Something bad happened." I say and they all look at me. "We don't know that."
"Four of them left, and only one came back. The only reason we can't find Lily is because she cloaked herself, which doesn't make any sense except that one time when we were studying we found a spell that will stop the bleeding of a serious wound and cloak you as a defense mechanism if people are trying to find you. So if she used that spell it's because she was hurt badly and it wouldn't heal right. Rafael had blood on his mouth when we found him meaning that he bit her and because she's also a vampire, it wouldn't heal. Something bad happened. To at least her and we don't know about the others." I say and they don't say anything, they knew I was right.
"Hope, go and check on the other wolves," Emma says and I reject "I'm worried about this one." "Hope," Alaric says in a demanding way. Seeing that I'm not going to win this, I walk out. When I walk out, I pause. Something really bad happened to all of them. I just have a feeling.
Lily's POV~
I must have passed out. Because when I wake up I'm not in the forest. Come to think of it I have no clue where I am. I'm in some restaurant, there are red lights and a jukebox playing a really annoying song. "What the hell." "Who the hell are you?" I then the voice and see a man with dirty blonde hair. "Who the hell are you?" I ask back.
"I asked you first little one," he says in a menacing voice. "Lily," I say vaguely and he shakes his head "Full name. If you're here then you're stuck in a prison world, with me. Which means you've pissed off either the Salvatore's or the Bonnie Bennett." I look at him strangely. "How do you know my dad my uncle and my aunt?" This makes his eyebrows shoot up. "Oh? How do you exist? Damon and Stefan are vampires." "Actually there's a cure so my Aunt Elena and uncle Damon are humans. As for me existing well, some crazy psycho Gemini witch dude killed my sister's mom while she was pregnant with them and the coven magically implanted them into Caroline, my mom, and they siphoned their magic into me, making me alive, and a vampire witch hybrid. Now how did I get here?" I say looking around.
"Nice to meet you. Now so sorry to cut our conversation short but I haven't had human blood in I don't know how long. Given your age, I'd say a while." and he tries to bite me I guess he's a vampire, but he passes right through me. "What the fuck?!?!" I yell confused as to why he passed through me. He pokes me again and I basically glitch. "Damn it! You're an astral projection!"
"I can do that?" I ask more to myself than to Kia. "It's a rare trait from the Gemini coven." he says sitting down in defeat. "How do you know that?" I say still standing, seeing as I can't really sit. He stands up, smiles evilly and takes a bow "Because I was a member of the Gemini coven. But they hated me because I was a siphoner. Like you."

"Okay, how the hell do I stop astral projecting!!!" I yell getting annoyed while Kia just looks at his nails. "Will... You... Stop... Yelling. God, you've been doing that for an hour." "Well, I would stop if you would tell me how to leave. I need to get back to my girlfriend." I say crossing my arms and glaring at him. "Oh? You have a girlfriend?" He asks resting his chin on his hand. "Sort of. We're not official yet. Now help me get out of here." I cross my arms in annoyance. "I will, if you tell me all about this little girlfriend of yours, what's her name what supernatural being is she, who are her parents. Answer those and I'll help you." He says smirking evilly.
I give him a blank stare. Seeing as he was being serious, I sigh. I have to tell him so I can get back before I die. "Her name is Hope Mikaelson." "Any relation the great evil known as Klaus Mikaelson?" He asks raising an eyebrow at her name. I nod, "her father. His werewolf side made it possible when he had sex with another werewolf, her mom. Her grandmother was a witch. So all those passed down made her a tribrid. She's a werewolf, vampire, and witch. There I answered your stupid questions now help me leave.
"Ugh okay fine. Come on." He says getting up and walking outside. We go into a house and he brand a book. A book of spells. "Okay it says here... Ha go figure, someone from the physical world has to pull you out. Looks like you're stuck with me." he smirks.
"Come on little one come play." he says as he sets up a game of monopoly. "No," I say scoffing. A few hours later...
"HAHA YES! I'm buying it!" I yell as my piece lands on boardwalk. "That means I won. Now you have to look for other ways for me to leave." I say, that was the bet we made. "Why is that exactly. What's so important you have to leave? By the looks of the color you're turning I'd say... You a little too friendly with a werewolf on a full moon. Maybe that tribrid girl you talked about. Daughter of the infamous Klaus Mikaelson."
I just glare at him again. "I only told you that story because I needed help to get home." "Yes well, I am thankful you told me. Because when I get out of here I'm gonna see if I can't make more tribrids. Or at least one. You." He looks at me psychotically. "You're a psycho. And you're never getting out of here." He just laughs. "Well if you astral projected here that means I can astral project out. Which inevitably means I can. And I will, and I'll cause as much pain to Stefan, Damon, Alaric, and Bonnie as I can. To do that, I think I'll torture and kill you." "Who the hell are you?" I ask and he looks up at me smirking "My name, Little one, is Kia Parker..." before he can finish his sentence I scream at him "I don't care who you are! Get away from me!!!"

Hope's POV~
It's been hours. Ric left and Rafael sedated Emma, giving me the chance to give him a family made elixir that helps the crescent wolves remember locked away memories. "Hey, hey, what did you see? What we're you running from?" I ask and says aggrivatedly "I don't know." "Raf, whatever you saw made you like this. Did the monster hurt Lily?" are MG, Landon, and Lily okay? Is Lily okay Raf!?" I say and he shakes his head grabbing it, "I don't know"
"Do you know where the woods were?" I ask and he nods "I think so. Yeah, I remember" I sigh somewhat in relief, and somewhat in worry of what we'll find. "okay. Okay, I'm gonna get one of the twins to siphon you out of here we're gonna go find them." I say getting up and going to Josie and Lizzie's room.
"What do you want Hope?" Lizzie says somewhat annoyed. "I need you to come siphon Rafael out of his room. He knows where the woods where he was are and we have to get there soon because we don't know what happened to Landon, MG, or Lily." I say really fast, all she does is nod her head and follow me to Raf's room.

Rafael and I get to the woods and I find Ric. "Hey, Dr. Saltzman" "Hope! Thank god you made it." I look at MG and Lily "W-whats going on?" I ask seeing them both hurt. "They have werewolf bites and it's messing with Lily's magic, she's in some sort of other world. Hope they don't have a lot of time." He says and I look around, Landon isn't here. "I bit you?" Raf says and MG replies "Raf I'm so sorry" "Sorry, what are you sorry for he should be the one that's sorry." Kaleb yells.
"I remember now. The elixir, his face, being back here. I remember who the monster was. It's him. He killed Landon, and Lily tried to stop him but it was too late. And I bit them both." He says and I freeze. After a second I go over to Lily and shake her. "Lily, Lily snap out of it come on." She screams, scaring all of us "Get away from me!!!" and her magic pulses through the air, sending us all flying. Then she starts seizing. I run over to her and stab my hand with a stick, "Lily, hey, come on, drink you have to." I say holding her head up, and she does, but only a little before she falls limp in my lap and my hand heals.
"Lily! Lily! She's not breathing!" I yell and start doing CPR. After a minute or two, nothing happens. "NO! Lily, please! Don't leave me too" I say the last part quietly as tears run down my face. "Dr. S." I hear Kaleb whisper. "Just give her a minute. She'll do it." He says and his voice breaks.
I slowly stand up. "I need your knife," I say and he hands me it. I walk over and cut my hand, putting it to MG's mouth. He drinks it and starts to heal.
I walk back over to Lily's body and fall to my knees. In one last attempt, I cut my hand again and put blood in her mouth. "please" I say in a whisper. Then, a miracle happens, she starts coughing. "Oh thank god," I say and pull the upper half of her body onto me. "H-hope?" she asks and slowly opens her eyes. "Hey, it's me. It's me I got you." I say and hug her from behind, she just leans into me.
"Can you stand?" I ask and she nods. I help her up and keep my arm around her waist to make sure she won't fall and we walk to Landon's body. Raf tries to attack MG again but I stop him "Raf, Raf stop. Landon wanted us to be better. Give him that respect." and then Landon catches on fire. "put him out Hope" and I try, but it doesn't work. "Babe am I still delusional or are you seeing this?" Lily asks "we're all seeing this." Kaleb answers.
When the fire goes out, Raf goes to walk over but Ric stops him. "Wait, I don't think it's over" "how could it not be?" I ask looking at him. "We've been wondering if he was supernatural, guess we have our answer." Ric says and Landon breaks out of the ash, alive. "What's going on?" he asks standing up. "You ever heard of the legend of the Phoenix?" Ric asks and we just look at him.
Just then, Lily collapses again. I catch her and pick her up bridal style. "Kia Parker" we hear her whisper and Alaric's eyes go wide.

On the car ride, I held Lily in my lap so we'd all fit. Once we got to the school, I took her to my room to keep an eye on her.
I wasn't sure what to do, Lily had been having nightmares all night. She had only woke up screaming once, but she would shake in fear a lot. And what really didn't help, was that I was having nightmares too.
Lily's POV~
When I woke up, I was in Hope's room. Looking around she already up, painting. "Hope? How-how did I get here?" I ask and she turns around scrunching her eyebrows together, "You don't remember?" she asks and I shake my head no. "Well, what's the last thing you do remember?" She asks coming and sitting next to me. "Uh, Landon coming back to life, a-and my dad calling him a Phoenix." and then there's me astral projecting, but that's a conversation I need to have with my dad.
"Okay, well, you collapsed and I caught you. We rode back in the car, and I brought you here to keep an eye on you. I just let you sleep in because you were having a lot of nightmares last night." Hope explains and I nod slowly. "I'm uh-I'm gonna go talk to my dad. I'll see you later." I say and I peck her cheek before walking out and vamp speeding to my dad's office.
When I get there I bend over and rest my hands on my knees. "Lily? Are you okay?" He asks and I hold up a finger. "I'm good, just give me a second. Ugh, vamp speed is not a good idea after almost dying. Or actually dying. I'm not even sure. Where's Emma? I need to talk to both of you." I say the last part standing straight with a serious face.

"You're saying that while you were poisoned by the werewolf venom you astral projected?" Emma asks looking at me and I nod. "That's what the guy I talked to said. Is it possible?" I say looking between Emma and my dad. "I'm not sure. It could be that because Lily is a vampire witch hybrid that the werewolf bite affected her differently and allowed her to access abilities we didn't know she has." My dad says mainly to himself.
"Yes, but in order to astral project you have to be connected to the person you see. Seeing that Lily had never met him before it must have been by blood." Emma says and I comment "He said he was part of the Gemini coven. His name was Kai Parker." Dad shoots out of his chair quickly "What?! How-how did you see him? What did he say to you?!" geez he's acting strange.
"He uh, he said that when he gets out he's going to find me, torture me, and kill me. He said that I'm the best way to get revenge on my dad, my mom, Aunt Elena, Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Damon and you." I say coldly.
"Who is he dad? And don't lie. He knows he said he did. And the look on your face right now says that you know him too." I ask and shakes his head. "It doesn't matter he's trapped and he can't escape." I groan. "You know, hiding things will destroy everyone in this family. So the sooner you tell us what ever it is you're hiding, the better the outcome will be." I say and run out, who cares if I use my vamp speed or not.

After my "talk" with my dad, I went to my room, took a shower and changed into some white skinny jeans, a navy blue top with the school logo, a brown leather jacket, and some brown knee-high boots. Then my dad called for a mandatory assembly. Walking out of my room, I see Josie. She runs up to me and pulls me into a hug. "I'm so glad you're okay. We were worried sick but dad made us stay here." "I'm okay, but uh Jo... Can't... Breathe" I say and she let's go, allowing air to go into my lungs again. "I'm sorry! I shouldn't have hugged you that hard" she says and I just wave her off. "You're fine, but we have a super fun assembly to go to so let's go, move those long legs." I say and she laughs "My legs aren't long Lil." "They are to your 5-foot sister who's walking next to you." I say rolling my eyes.
When we get to the hall where the assembly is, we sit in the front. "I have some news. Many of you, like me, have forgotten that we are hosting this year's Miss Mystic Falls Pageant." almost everyone groans. "I know, trust me. But the rotation is set in stone. So let's take the opportunity to maintain our image as a normal school for the rich and awful. As usual, anything remotely magical, enchanted, vampire, wolf, or witch related, must be kept tucked away, hidden and under lock and key. Now... With your chore assignments." Dad says and Lizzie steps up to the podium. "Okay, so we'll split up into teams..." I just tune her out.

Ditching chore duty, I head to the library and try to find any books about the Gemini coven. Kai Parker in particular. But I don't find anything. I must have gone through 50 books and still nothing. Anything on our coven is ripped out of the books. Like someone didn't want us to see what they said.
Giving up, I go find Hope to see if she needs any help. Who I find with her is not pleasing. "Roman." I dryly. "Hey, uh Lily? Right?" I give him a tight-lipped smile. "Yep. I came to see if you needed any help love." I say looking at Hope. "Alright well, I'm going to go find Dr. Saltzman." Roman says and he leaves. "That was very alpha of you Lil." Hope says smiling a little. "Yeah well, I never liked that guy." I say shrugging and Landon asks a question "Is that the 90-year-old vampire you might have mentioned murdered your mom?"
Hope nods a little "It is. Though I don't hold him responsible for what happened anymore." After hearing her say that, Landon goes to hide more rats from the owls. I sigh before I get an idea. "Babe?" I say getting Hope's attention, "Want to spar?" she smiles and nods her head.
After changing to work out clothes, I meet Hope in the gym, they haven't started setting up so we can use it for a little bit. "Do you want to use the bambo sticks or the metal ones?" Hope asks walking to our sparing gear. "Metal. I think we'd break the bamboo ones with the issues we both have right now." She glances at me when I say that but grabs the metal ones none the less, handing me two of them.
After going at it for a few minutes, Hope puts me in a headlock with her sticks. "So, you want to tell me why you're being distant?" She asks and I just break out of the lock she had me in, "Not really. Do you?" I ask flipping her and pinning her arm behind her back, she breaks loose and we start hitting our sticks together trying to get the upper hand. "No right now." She says and swings at me legs knocking me on my back. I swipe her legs from under her and get in a straddling position, pinning her arms above her head.
"Then I guess it's settled. We'll talk about it later. But for now, I won. Again." I say smirking, she just rolls her eyes. She flips us and pins my hands like I just did to her. "Mmm let me think about that. No. I think I won." She says and I laugh. "Come a little closer and I'll give you a prize" she raises her eyebrow and means in "Oh really? What is it?" "Mm I can think of a few things," I say smirking and kiss her.
"Lily, Hope! Oh my god!" Lizzie walks in and we pull away within a millisecond. "Lizzie, hey, we- I was just um-" Hope tries to find a viable excuse but Lizzie interrupts her, "Sucking faces with my little sister?" we both look down blushing and I say "busted"
"Okay, we can talk about this later, for now, get dressed and meet me by the dining hall." Lizzie says and walks out. After changing back into my original outfit, I meet Hope in the hallway as we both walk to meet up with Lizzie. "So... Now that we've been officially busted... I was wondering if maybe I could uh... Call you my girlfriend?" I ask Hope shyly.
She stops walking and looks at me. "Did you just ask me to be your girlfriend?" she asks and I nod my head. She smiles really big "I'd love to" and she kisses me, making me smile. "Now come on, if we're late your sister will kill us." she says pulling away and we walk to meet Lizzie, finding Josie and Penelope there too.
Once Lizzie closes the door she speaks, "I'm withdrawing from Miss Mystic Falls. Effective immediately." Hope sits on the table and says "I thought you had something important to tell us." making hold back a laugh but fail.
"Come for the underwarming announcement, stay for the epic meltdown." Penelope says and I glare at her. "Okay, wait back up, why are you withdrawing Liz?" I ask getting back to the point at hand. "A personal issue with one of the judges. A direct hit from that bitch Dana's sabotage." "Shes dead Lizzie," Hope says and I just comment "Correction: that dead bitches sabotage." Hope just gives me a look and I shrug.
"Costing my the crown from beyond the grave. The head judge is her mother. The town pharmacist. There is always next year for me. But that doesn't mean that we here at the Salvatore school shouldn't bring home the title and stick it to those townies. So I have studied the stats and advanced metrics and I have chosen a replacement." Lizzie explains, and I thought she was going to say Josie, but she didn't. "Hope Mikaelson." when she says this we all make confused faces.
"You guys have fun with that." I say, and go leave but Lizzie stops me. "Where do you think you are going, Lillian? You're in this too, you're Hope's escort." I turn around. Shit. She's right. "Why would Lily be her escort?" Penelopeasks and Lizzie rolls her eyes like it's obvious to everyone, "Obviously because I caught them eating each other's faces before coming here." Hope and I turn beat red. "It was wasn't a make-out Liz, you barged in before it got heated." I said and Hope slaps my arm. "Ow! What it's true!" I say and she hits me again "That doesn't mean you have to tell them!" she yells back and stops hitting me.
"Wait, when did you two become a thing?" Josie asks and I smile "Well we made it official today but we kissed for the first time the night we got back from our spring break trip" Josie nods. "Lily put on your dancing outfit, don't lie, you dance so I know you have some, and meet us in the dining hall. That's where the rehearsal is." Lizzie says and I nod, kissing Hope on the cheek I leave to do just that.

Hope and Lizzie come in while I'm stretching. I get up, and Dana's mom calls for rehearsal to start. I walk over to Hope and Just Dance by Lady Gaga starts playing on a violin.
"You know how to do this right?" Hope asks and I nod, putting my right hand to hers but not touching it. "Of course. My dad taught me before he died, Uncle Damon too. It's something they wanted me to know." "Left hand around," Dana's mom says, and we switch. "both hands" we do as she says and Hope shakes her head "I don't know why I agreed to this"
I laugh, "Hey if it's because of the song, I can change it up and sing what I have playing through my head right now." Hope laughs and nods her head. So I start singing lightly, laughing a little. "I know you, I walked with you once... Upon a dream.-" she starts laughing even more, and we start the touching part of the dance which makes me sing more because it reminds me of the movie "I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam. And I know it's true, that visions are seldom all they seem. But if I know you, I'll know what you'll do... You'll love me at once... They way you did once... Upon a... Dream"
We continue to laugh, and Dana's mom even compliments on how well we're dancing. Then Landon butts in, "Mind if I steal her for a second." And she doesn't wait for an answer. "Um..." "Its okay Lil, just give us one minute, what Landon?" Hope says and I just nod. "I'm going to go talk to Dana's mom for a second." I say and walk away.
"Um, Mrs. Lilein? Can I talk to you for a second? Alone?" I ask and she nods. "What is it, Lillian, I'm very busy." she says and I nod "Yeah I know it's just, the medication I'm taking, it's not working. I was wonder what I need to do to change it?" I ask quietly. "Well, if it's not working it means your nightmares are getting worse. Talk to your doctor about it and I'll refill whatever they decide to change it to." She says kindly and walks away. "Thanks," I say and go back to Hope, only to see her angry at Landon and the glasses nearby start shaking.
Lizzie takes her out of the room, and I drag Landon out of the room. "What the hell did you say to her?!" I yell and he looks at me. "What do you mean what did I say?" he asks defensively. "Don't play that shit with me, I can hear your heartbeat change which means you're lying. So what did you say to her that her so upset that the room started shaking? Keep in mind, we know what you are, and that you resurrect so I can and I will kill you if I don't like your answer." I say getting angrier by the second.
He raises his hands in defense, "Woah, I was just asking about why Roman gets off so freely when he had a hand in killing her mom while I have to work my ass off and all I did was steal a stupid knife." At this, I punch him. Not with vampire strength, but with normal strength. It's still strong enough to break his nose though. "One: nothing in this school is a stupid anything. Two: stop asking questions that you don't deserve to know. Three: I swear to god if you go near Hope again while she's like this I will literally rip you in half and we can see if you come back to life from that." I say with a voice of pure poison. Then I walk away, if I stayed the humans would have seen what people here actually were. Because I would have killed him then and there.
After that, I went to find Hope. When I did, she was walking back to the building with Lizzie. "Hey, are you okay? I talked to Landon, he told me what he said." I asked walking up to them. "Looks like you did more than that. You have blood on your hand sis." Lizzie says and I look at my hand. I did have blood on it. "What did you do to him?" Hope asks giving me a look. Shit. I might be in trouble.
Scratching the back of my neck I mumble out "I uh, may or may not have... Broken his nose. But I didn't use any vamp strength.- Is that? MG's mom?" "Don't change the topic, you broke his nose? Wait... Did you just say MG's mom?" Hope says and looks at the statue I pointed at. "I think it is MG's mom," Lizzie says looking at it.

"Who would do this to my mom?" MG asks looking his statufied mom. "Not just who would, who could?" Hope asks looking at her. "Could be a bad spell translation or a potion mishap." my dad says. "Or a monster." "Yeah but there's no reason a monster would be here. Unless Landon activated a new artifact. What did you touch bird boy?" I ask him. He just decided to join our little gathering in the garden. "Everything. We cleaned the school from top to bottom. But here's an idea what if whoever did this showed up today, out of nowhere acting all buddy-buddy and manipulating old romantic feelings"
I scoff, "Seriously? You think this was Roman?" I as and he nods his head. "Yeah, I do. And I'm gonna go ask him some questions." he says and walks away. "Yeah good idea, go ask a vampire how he turned a woman to stone." I yell and my dad speaks up again. "Girls why don't you go keep an eye on the contestants, MG and I will search the grounds."

After getting ready, I went to where I have to escort Hope. I was in a light purple, floor-length, Off the shoulder dress. Lizzie picked it out, she said she didn't want our dresses to clash.
Walking in, I see Landon walking away from her angry. When he sees me, he's almost fuming. "You know you're both liars. You knew about my mom. And you didn't say anything." He says and tries to punch my face, but I catch his hand and twist it, i let go when I hear a cracking noise. "Everyone lies. And next time you try and hit someone, know who you're going up against." I whisper in his ear and walk away from him.
When I walk up to Hope, I notice the dress she's wearing. Her dad gave it to my mom. "You look lovely Hope," I say smiling and she looks me up and down "So do you" I lend her my arm, and her name gets called. "Miss Hope Mikaelson, escorted by Miss Lillian Forbes-Salvatore"
We start the dance, "five more minutes and it's all over Hope, you got this." I say quietly. The look on her face is a dead giveaway she wants to leave. We notice Lizzie and Josie start fighting. "What are they fighting about? I know you can hear them, tell me" she says and I listen in. "They're arguing about Lizzie not considering anyone but herself." I look away before continuing, "and the dress you're wearing."
"What about it?" she asks, and I don't need to listen to Josie telling Lizzie that the dress was from Klaus. I knew. "What? Tell me" Hope says when she sees my face. "It was a gift from a man who kept trying to win my mom's heart... It was from your dad." I say the last part quietly, and I can see tears come to Hope's eyes. "My dad chose this dress?" and I nod. "Yeah. Are you okay?" I ask because she starts to hyperventilate.
"May I have your attention, please. Without further ado, it is my honor to announce our very own Miss Mystic Falls. From the Salvatore school, Miss Hope Mikaelson." A lady says and a spotlight goes on us as we stop dancing. Hope starts crying, and the room starts shaking.
On instinct, I wrap my arms around her, keeping a front I say "Congratulations." and then whisper to her, "It's okay. I got you, just let it out. The real way. The way you've needed to all along" she hugs me back and sobs into my shoulder. And I do the only thing I can do. Just be there for her.

After all the outsiders left, Hope went to her room, and once I changed I went to the kitchen. Once I was done in there I grabbed what I had made and went to Hope's room. I knocked lightly but went in anyway, she was sitting on her bed looking at her family pictures before she turned to me.
Handing her the food I made her, I sit down. "Peanut butter blast, whipped cream on the bottom, and beignets with powdered sugar and a hint of honey. I also brought all of your favorite movies and a projector so we can put it on your wall." Hope gives a small smile. "You didn't have to do all this Lil-" I stop her. "Yes, I did. As your best friend and your girlfriend, it's my job to be here for you when you're feeling down, and to help you through it. So get comfy, I'll set up the movies, and then we can just watch them and cuddle. Or talk if you want to. It's up to you." I say and set everything up.
About halfway through the second movie, Hope had her head on my chest, and when I looked down, she was sleeping. I turned off the light but kept the movie on, because no matter how hard I try not to, I will always be afraid of the dark. I kiss the top of her head, and then fall asleep.
