Lily's POV~
"Great. So I'm in hell. Or in your terms, a prison world with a psychotic freak show that wants to kill my sisters and I. Lovely. I'm just gonna grab this bottle of bourbon and be anywhere in this house except the room with you in it Alaric. Have a swell time explaining this to my sisters." I tell him while grabbing the alcohol.
Not waiting to hear his half-assed explanation, I walk out of the living room and to the library to try and find a way out of here. As I'm going through books, I get an idea. But before I do it, Alaric and Josie walk in. "Dad. This is about Uncle Kai, isn't it? You said he was desiccated." "He's not Josie. If he was I wouldn't have spoken to him when I astral projected on accident and then later on purpose remember?" I answer her while going through and trying to find a phone with Google maps. Then, testing my luck, I pull out my own phone and thank god, it gets reception.
Walking to the bag Alaric has weapons in, I look through it and pull out a gun with wooden bullets, a stake, and a knife, putting the gun in the waistband of my jeans, the knife in my boot, and the stake in my back pocket. "Alright look, My phone has reception, Jo if you need me, call." I tell her and start walking out but Alaric stops me.
"Where do you think you're going? No, don't even bother answering. You are going to go with your sister to the meadow and find the sand clock before anyone else does. Then you are going to come back here and hide. And stay hidden." he tells me and I give a blank stare before speaking. "No I'm not. I might have a way to get us out of here but I need to get the things I need for the spells. I know how to get places undetected how the hell do you think I was able to go all summer without you guys finding me unless I wanted to be found? Jo, be smart, stay hidden, siphon me a little so you have magic with you, " I tell her and she does as I say. "Call if you need me." I tell her and kiss her forehead before vamp speeding away so Alaric can't try and stop me.

When I get far enough away, I go into a random house and take off my ring, holing it in my palm. Siphoning it, I look at the list of ingredients and where they are. 10 ingredients, 7 locations, all not too far from here. I could be back by tomorrow. I put the illusion spell back up, and put the ring back on.
Walking outside, I see a nice car, unlocking it, the keys are in there so I start it up and drive off to the closet location, which is like two hours away.
After getting half of the ingredients, I'm driving to the second to last location when my phone rings.
Pulling it out of my pocket, I answer it and put it on speaker. "Hey Jo-Jo. I'm almost done, what's up?" I ask her, but when I don't get anything back I glance at the phone to see I did in fact, answer it. "Jo? Josie?" I ask, and that when I hear something on the phone, it sounds like it's far away but thanks to vamp hearing, I hear it.
"Jade?" "Little Josie Saltzman. Are Lizzie and Lily here too?" Jade? Why the hell is she here? I remember her being a vampire at school like ten years ago. "What are you doing here Jade?" "If that's okay with you, can we talk after I eat? Because I am starving and you look delicious." before I can say or hear anything else the line goes dead.
Stopping the car, I grab my phone and begin to repeatedly call and text Josie trying to see if she's okay. After about ten minutes, I'm about to turn the car around, screw getting the things for the spell I have to see if my sister is okay. But as in turn around and am about to drive back towards Mystic Falls, Josie sends a text with her voice, saying she's okay. After listening to it a few times, I know that she's not being forced to say that so I sigh in relief and turn back around, continuing to go get the five remaining ingredients for the spell.

After getting everything I needed, I drove back to Mystic Falls as fast as I could. Doing a small locator spell, Josie was in the bar I met Kai at. Walking in silently, I hear Alaric speaking.
"I knew what I had to do. Five people were dead. Brutally murdered. Fed on. Torn apart. Dismembered. Burned to cover it up. And not one of you had shown any remorse. And none of you even admitted to what you had done. I couldn't let you stay at the school. I wasn't going to release you into the world." "So you sent us here. Forever. Is that how you help your students?" a males voice says. "No. I made a mistake. I should've killed you." when Alaric says this, I walk all the way so I can see them.
I see Diego, Wendy, and Jade. Turning to Alaric with angry tears in my eyes, I speak to him. "You sent them here? Is that what you were gonna do to me when I got back?" when I say this, his eyes go wide. "No, I wouldn't do that Lil-" "Why? According to you, what they did was irredeemable. I KILLED HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE! TORTURED THEM, RIPPED THEM APART BECAUSE I WANTED TO! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THE REAL REASON THEY KILLED THOSE PEOPLE IN THE WOODS BUT I DOUBT ITS BECAUSE THEY HAD A CHOICE." when I start to yell I can see in the reflection of a picture frame that my eyes are glowing a molten gold color. "Instead of trying to help them like you tried to help me, you just threw them away like trash. Even I was far worse than any of them."
After I say this, everyone looks upset. Jad sends Wendy and Diego to check on Kai. "You're so sure you're right. How about I tell you what really happened that night." Jade starts and she sits next Josie. I remain standing, not even looking at Alaric anymore.
"Inez had invited me.to this party in the woods. We'd been flirting for a few months. I thought this was my chance to see if she was really into girls or not. Wendy really wanted to come, she was trying to get Diego to notice her so she talked me into bringing him along too. It was a freak party. Seeing who could get the biggest weirdo to show up. Yeah, they took one look at us and they just, knew we were different. It should've ended there. I could've stopped it but I froze. Maybe I didn't want to prove them right about us being different. Or maybe part of me wanted it to happen. Everything after that's a blur. But I did find out something that night. I'm a ripper. That was the worst moment of my life. You think I didn't feel any remorse for what happened. But I did. Shame. Guilt. Panic. I couldn't bear feeling it anymore. So..."
"So you didn't." I answer for her, looking at her. "It got too much for you to handle, and you broke. You shut off your humanity to avoid feeling any pain. I know the feeling." I say the last part in a whisper. "Lily is right. I shit off my humanity that night. I was screaming for help. You just couldn't hear it...... Being here... Where you sent us. I've killed Kai, Diego and Wendy thousands of times. So maybe you're right after all. Because I've finally become the killer that you thought I was."
"I'm sorry I didn't recognize the signs. To both of you." He says the last part glancing at me as well, making me roll my eyes. "Eh, You were busy protecting your daughters. Let's just see how good." Jade states as she gets up and breaks the chains off Alaric. "Come with me. There's a game I want to play." she tells him and she leaves Josie and I in here.
Once they leave, I walk up to Josie and untie her. "Come on Jo, I know a way to get us all out of here I just need help with a small first." "No, we have to save dad Lily. Look I know you two aren't getting along right now but he's still your family." she tells me and I roll my eyes. "On second thought." I pause, and use my magic to tie her back up again. "You stay here where a barrier spell will keep out all the back guys, and I'll go get Lizzie. Or maybe even Wendy. She wants out of here too I'm sure she'd have no problem helping get us out of here if it meant her freedom." I tell her as I put the spell up.
"No Lily! Don't do this! We have to help him they're going to kill him!" Josie protests as she struggles in the restraints. "Josie. They are going to kill us all. The only way we can make sure that we get out of this alive, is if we have a reason for them to keep us alive. This isn't a time to play hero and go up against a vampire, a witch, and a werewolf who can kill us easily. This is a time to be strategic and plan a thousand steps ahead of everyone else. Now, no one that isn't related to you can get in this barrier spell. I'll be back when I finish the spells we need to get out, and then we are all going home." I tell her before walking away.

After trying and failing to find Lizzie, I don't any of her things unlike Josie, I have one of Josie's necklaces because I borrowed one today. Walking into the boarding house, I see the trapped trio about to do a spell. "Perfect, Wendy's already here. Give me that, thank you" I say as I grab Alaric's watch from Jade and walk over to the map. "I'm guessing you're playing your weird hunger games shit with him yeah? Wendy can't play, I need her to help me and we have to start the spell as soon as the moon reaches its apex, so I'm gonna do this spell and then we're leaving." when I say this, they all glared at me.
"I'm not helping you with anything." Wendy comments and the other two nod their heads. "Sunburst! This isn't fairytopia, you don't get to say no without knowing what you're saying no to. Now sit in your magic rainbow, and let me speak..." When she crosses her arms with a glare, I speak up again.
"You are if you want all of us to get out of here. Th here's another way, I know it, I need your help to complete the first step to get us out and it needs to happen tonight because I'm getting out of here by tomorrow night and the spell will take a few hours. So... You want me to do the locator spell or do want Wendy to do it? Because we're running out of time." I tell them with a blank stare. When none of them speak, I do the spell.
"No way. He's here." Wendy says as we watch my blood go to the boarding house on the map and light on fire. "No he's in the tunnels." I answer and we watch the blood move to the armory. "Happen hunting Jade. Wendy, let's go. See you two in a bit, oh and, if you both want out of here you aren't going to kill him." When I say the last part they all shout "What!" "I promised Josie we'd all make it out of here alive. But... I never said in what condition. Hurt him all you want. But if he dies, whoever killed him stays here. Alone. Forever." I tell them with a venomous voice, indicating that I'm not kidding. With that, I grab Wendy and vamp speed to the meadow.

"So let me get this straight... You brought me here... To do a spell with you... Where are the things for the spell?" Wendy asks as she looks around not seeing anything but the stone pillar we're by. "Not everything is what it seems Wendy." I tell her as I take off the bracelets I have on, siphoning it, all the ingredients appear. "Glamour spells make good transportation of important things." I say as I take off the ring and do the same, the spell and ingredients list appear.
"Here, read it over, try and memorize the words and the steps, I already have." I tell her as I set up candles around us and on the pillar. "This spell looks so old. How did you even get this?" she asks, looking up as I light the candles. "Well, one of the monsters that came to the school was Santa Claus believe it or not. I simply wished for an answer to a very important question. See... Kai... He knew that I was a living vampire- witch hybrid. A living heretic if you will. And he also knew, thanks to his, answer for an answer shit, that my girlfriend is a tribrid. He wanted to know if there was a way to make more. Using me as his little science experiment. I simply wished to know if he could. And Santa left me this spell." I tell her as I set up more stuff.
"This is the spell to-" "Yes. It is. Once we do the spell I will have enough power to basically siphon on myself to create like a wormhole, I guess you could call it, out of here. I just needed another witch to help perform the spell. Hence, why you're here. So... You still helping or do you want to be stuck here forever?" after I'm done speaking Wendy just nods her head. "Let's do it."
"Okay, it says we need a draw a symbol on your forehead, doesn't say what... Oh wait, there are handwritten notes on here... Says we need to draw a crescent moon and a sun to add in your vampire side before we start." "Yeah I have some weird paint that was in the ingredient list, here." I answer, handing her the paint so she can draw the symbols.
Once they were drawn, we started to say the spell, going through the motions on the spell. Once we got to the first part, I grabbed the knife I had gotten, and but my hand, bleeding into the bowl on the stone pillar. Wendy added in the other ingredients that go into the mixture.
"Okay I know this is gross but you have to drink some of this." she tells me and I make a disgusted face before doing so, gagging a little after the fact.
As we continue to say the spell, Wendy takes the paint and draws more markings on my palms, and all up both my arms. Each on meaning something different to the spell.
When that's done, the moon is in its final phase, and it's time for the last part of the spell. Wendy takes the blade I used, and cuts her hand, pouring her blood into the bowl as a binding agent to the spell. She then takes the blade and dunks it into the mixture, before holding it over the flame in the middle of the pillar, heating it up.
"Are you sure this is the only way you can get us out?" she asks, looking at me warily. "Its the only way I can think of without my sister getting absorbed by black magic." I answer her and she looks at me again, pulling the knife out of the fire. It's so hot that it's glowing red.
"Once I start this, I can't stop. It could kill us both if I do. And I may come back, but you won't. And then no one is getting out of here." when she tells me this, I just nod, telling her to do it.
She grabs one of my hands and carves crescent moons into both palms, making me scream. She pauses for a second, "Whatever happens, don't pass out. It doesn't say what will happen if you do but the spell said not to." once she says this I give her a slight nod again before she comes closer and carves another crescent moon onto my forehead, making me scream so loud that magic pulses out of me and disintegrates nearby trees.
When she backs up and says the last part of the spell, I feel a surge of immense pain rush through my body, making me fall to my hands and knees, screaming in agony. But then, it's gone as fast as it appeared. When I look up at, I can feel my eyes changing color and I can see Wendy starting at me with a shocked face.
Glancing at my hands, they started healing. And before I know it, I'm completely healed. After a second, I just sit down and lean against the pillar, giving myself a moment to rest, Wendy doing the same since it was a huge spell. "How do you feel?" she asks and I just shrug. "Different. But not a lot different. Just... Stronger... I guess." I answer simply.
"So..." I start off after a few minutes of silence. When Wendy looks at me, I continue with a small smirk. "How does it feel to be one of three witches, me included, to have ever created a werewolf?" With that, she smirks back at me. Probably feeling as proud as I am that it worked, and I now have enough power to channel off of to get us the hell out of here.
(A/N)- What's this?!?! Two chapters in one day! Wow! Yes well, this morning I had 20k reads and within hours I was up to 21k so I'm like ð§ I figured you guys deserved a reward for being awesome.
Omg! The spell Lily got for Christmas was the spell used to create the original seven werewolves thousands of years ago! - side note: I made up what happens in the spell because even though I swear I remember seeing a scene of the native American witch casting the spell, I couldn't find it.
And I also there wasn't and Lily, Kai moments in this chapter, but there will be one or two great ones next chapter pinky promise ð¤ð»
On another note... Am I the only who thinks that Wendy's character looks like the live-action version of Sunburst from Fairytopia Magic of the Rainbow?
