Lily's POV~
I woke up not long after Hope and I fell asleep, I know because the movie that was playing on my flat screen tv was still on. Perks of having my dad make this room for me, I get cool things in it and it's huge.
Feeling restless, I get out of bed, making sure not to wake up Hope, I quickly change and exit my room.
I walked out to the old mill. I needed to clear my head after everything that happened tonight. Not to mention the spell Josie blasted me with was making me feel strange, so I decided to release it. Glancing around to make sure no one was around, I did what Lizzie taught me to do, took everything that felt like it was a balloon ready to pop, and let it pop.
I took the dark magic I could feel in me, and screamed. Once I let it out, I heard something large fall in the old mill, getting curious, I walk inside to see what the noise was, when I see an unconscious Lizzie there.
"Shit! Why the hell didn't you use your stupid vamp hearing Lily?!" I yell to myself as I go and pick up my sister and start walking back to the school.
Laying her down in her bed, I leave my sisters' room and head back to mine. When I enter I see Hope still sleeping. Changing back into my pajamas, I crawl back in bed and Hope stirs. "Where'd you go? I missed your warmth." Hope mumbles tiredly as she wraps an arm around my waist and rests her head in the crook of my neck.
Wrapping an arm around her I reply, "I went to the old mill and released some of that magic Josie blasted me with, don't worry, I'm fine. Now go back to sleep, I'm sorry I woke you." with I kiss the top of her head and she kissed my neck in return.

Third Person POV~
When Hope woke up the next morning, she noticed the ned was empty. Looking around, she notices Lily walking out of her bathroom in a towel. "Mmm if I get this view every time I wake up I'd die very happy." Hearing Hope say this, Lily smirked before replying, "Well if you like the view now just wait till you see what's under it." Lily then leans over and pecks Hope's lips before heading over to her closet and dresser, "Unfortunately, I am giving two new vampires a tour of the school in about twenty minutes, so the fun will have to wait until later."
Upon learning this, Hope groans, making Lily laugh while she heads back to the bathroom to change, leaving the door a little ajar so they could still talk. "Why do you have to give the tour?" Hope asks as she goes to the closet and puts on some of her clothes Lily brought over from her room. "Because according to Dumbledore wannabe, the vampires are twins, the girl plays soccer and the boy does music. So he thought the musically educated soccer Captain, known as me, should give them the tour. And I think he also said something about 'A proper Salvatore school tour should be given by none other than a Salvatore'" Lily commented the last part in a British accent, mocking the new headmaster whilst walking out of the bathroom and to her vanity.
"So, what are your plans for the day?" Lily asks as looking in the mirror fixing her hair. Not hearing a reply, Lily turns around to see Hope starting at her. Hope had spaced out simply looking at Lily, she was wearing a plain white V-neck, black leather pants and a red blazer with the Salvatore crest. Her hair was in a red scrunchy and her natural makeup on, to top everything off she was wearing her necklace her father gave her on her 16th birthday that had the Salvatore crest on it. Hope thought that she was simply breathtaking.
"Hope? Hope!" hearing her name, Hope snapped out of her daze. "huh? Sorry, what did you ask?" when Hope asked this Lily began to smirk. "Well, I'm glad to know that I have that effect on you, my love. But I asked what you were doing today." Lily stated as she put on a pair of red heels to match her outfit. "Oh! I'm going on portal duty to make sure no more monsters come. I'd invite you to come after your tour but I remember you saying something about an '80s dance last night, which probably means you're helping set it up because of Lizzie." With that Lily nodded, she did have to help set up for the dance, and with her and her sisters' not getting along since school started she needed to get in their good graces so she couldn't back out.
"Yeah, I do. I would try and get out of it to help but with my sisters and I not getting along right now-" Hope interrupted Lily, walking over to her and taking her hands, Hope looked in her eyes and spoke, "Backing out would cause more trouble. I get it. And I'm not making you do that, I know how much you care about your sisters. So go, help out, I'll see you tonight."
Lily smiled. As she went to reply she glanced at the clock before her eyes went wide, "Shit! I'm late! Okay, I'm going to go give the tour to the new vamps, you should come to the dance tonight. And before you object because I know that normally dances aren't your thing, I think it would be good for you to be around people you know while we figure out how to bring their memories back." Before Hope could reply to what Lily just said, she was gone, the door was left wide open.

"Welcome to the Salvatore School. I'm Lily, I'm going to be showing you both around today." Lily stated, looking at the twin vampires in front of her while holding her hand out for them to shake. The brunette girl that looks to be around Lily's age shakes her and first. "I'm Athena, this is my brother, Alec." Athena introduces them while not so subtlety checking Lily out. After shaking hands with both of them, Lily gestures for them to follow her.
"Everyone gets along with everyone here for the most part. The wolves are pretty clicky, which is somewhat a good thing with you both being vampires. Now I know you know the basic rundown of your new abilities and such but I'm not sure if anyone explained that, if you get bit by a werewolf, you will die. Now we have a cure for it but I wouldn't go poking the wolf if you know what I mean. I also have your class schedules, Alec was it?" Lily glances over to Alec, who nods. "You both have the basic math, English, and what not along with gym so you can train with your abilities, but Alec, you have advanced music on there, and Athena was it?" Athena gives Lily a nod and she continues, "You have a free period as your last class and I also wrote down when soccer tryouts start which is in two weeks so you have time to condition. And don't think about not conditioning because you have these new powers, everyone on the team either has your abilities or magic, and the captain won't take any bull shit."
"Who's the captain?" Athena asks looking around as the entered the school. Lily smirks and glances at her. "Me." This causes both the twins' eyebrows to shoot up.
"Now, this is the dining hall, it doesn't look like it now because we are setting up for an '80s dance tonight, which you both are welcome to come to once you've settled in." Lily explains as Josie comes over to them.
"Hey Little Star" Josie says walking up and kissing her sister on the cheek making her confused. "Hey, Jo, you seem very chipper, I thought we were fighting." Lily claims whilst hugging her sister. "Well we were but since last night I decided that I didn't want to fight anymore. I love you and I want to move passed our stupid argument." this makes both sisters smile and hug again.
Then Athena decided to ask the question she was wanting to know since Josie walked over here. "So are you two a couple?"
The question makes Lily and Josie separate as if they were touching fire, and start gagging.
"Take that as a no then." Alec states watching their reaction. "No. Lily is my sister. I'm Josie, you must be the new vampires I heard about." Josie replies while shaking their hands, as they introduce themselves.
Lily was about to walk off with Alec and Athena when a witch called her name. "Lily! Hey, you're supposed to be helping the vamps and wolves move the tables around, and do you know when the DJ is getting here?" Lily takes the clipboard the witch handed her and looks at it. "Alyssa I told you I'm giving a tour to two new vamps. And the DJ is coming at 6:00, she has to drive from North Carolina. Also while I have you, I know you have other sports going on along with whatever it is you and your witch friends do but are you trying out for the soccer team this year? You're the best goalie we have so we need you to crush those stupid timberwolves."
"Duh, ever since you got the no magic bracelets approved for the games from your mom last year all the soccer players who played at the football game last year are dying to crush those humans." Alyssa replied smirking, Lily returned it before Alyssa went back to work.
Josie grabbed Lily's arm and dragged her a bit away from the two new vamps, like it will make a difference. "Hey, so tonights the dance, and so I was maybe wondering if... If Lizzie could maybe... stay in your room tonight?" This question shocked Lily. Then made her somewhat angry. "Jo, I love you. But it will be a cold day in hell before I let the garden gnome you call a boyfriend, get anywhere close to having se-" just as Lily went to finish her sentence, Jed bumped into her.
Reacting quickly, Lily grabbed Jed by the neck and threw him to the floor out of instinct. "Watch it wolf or next time I'll do more than throw you on the floor!"
As this interaction was happening Alec and Athena were watching. "Damn. She's hot, popular, and does sports. I call dibs." Athena states not taking her eyes off of Lily. Alec scoffs before replying, "She also seems to have a bit of a temper. She went from being a badass to a sweet kitten, now to a raging sister. I take it she doesn't like the guy her sister is seeing by the sound if the conversation. So I call dibs." Just as Athena went to protest they heard a new voice behind them.
"No one is calling dibs on her, she's taken." they turn to see a tall blonde glaring at them. "And why pray tell, are either of you baby vamps listening to my sister's conversation?" "Oh, there's another sister? Exactly how many are there?" Alec asks truly intrigued. "Three. I'm Lizzie, the oldest. I see you've met my twin, Josie, and you've obviously met Lily. She's the youngest, by two hours. Now as I've said before, keep your fangs away from my sister. She already has a girlfriend. Now go do something useful like hide in your rooms or something."
With that, Lizzie walked up to Lily after she threw Jed on the ground and dragged her away. Once they were away from people, Lizzie slapped Lily. "Ow! What was that for!" Lily yelled at her sister. "I don't know. I just feel like you needed it. Now, back to business. That spell Josie blasted you with. The one you accidentally blasted me with last night." "Yeah, what about it?" "Well somehow when you blasted me with it, my messed up head remembered everything. I remember who Hope is. Now I'm going to talk to her. Where is she?"
Lily stood there in shocked, and only snapped out of it when Lizzie slapped her shoulder again. "Ow! Will you stop hitting me! She's at the town square watching the Malivore portal."

Later...
Hope and Lizzie hid behind a tree as the minotaur ran passed them screaming. "Okay, I think we lost him." Hope says as the start walking through the woods. "At least we made it out if the lame town square, no thanks to you captain almost-stepped-on- the-land-mine-again." Lizzie comments snarkily. "You killed us with a hairdryer. Never forget." Hope responded in the same tone. "Come on, the school is this way." "If only there was something to talk about along the way. Some burning question. Some mysterious choice that demanded an explanation-" "Okay, fine. I was going to tell everyone that I was back. But then I saw Landin and Josie, and how happy they were without me. I figured that you were all better off without me."
At this, Lizzie stood in front of Hope angrily. "What is wrong with you? Do you really have that much of a martyr complex that you couldn't just I don't know... Ask one of us how we were doing?" Hope sighed at hearing this. "Look that it seems kind of-" "Dumb? Selfish? Controlling?" "Painful" Hope comments with a scoff. "No one's been better off without you. Josie is just filling a void left by Penelope. My dad is lonely. I've been imagining boyfriends. And Lily is spiraling, even if she pretends to be fine. The fact that you only came back because you found out she was in trouble proves that if she hadn't been, you wouldn't have come back. If my broken mind can remember you, then maybe that spell Josie and Lily did could bring everyone's memories back. You and Lily are meant for each other. Which is why you need to tell people you're back. And come back to school. Because whatever she saw when she was possessed is coming, and she needs all of us on her side for that."
Hope didn't say anything, they just kept walking for a moment. "You hallucinated a boyfriend?" Hope asked, right as the stepped on a tripwire and had blow darts hit them in the neck. "Tell you in a sec" with that, they fell to the ground.

"So, I met your other sister. Lizzie, I think it was? What are you guys? Wolves? Witches? Vampires?" Athena asked Lily as they moved tables. "My sisters and I are siphoners. Witches who don't have our magic, we have to siphon it from other magical objects or beings. They are the last of the Gemini coven. Their bio mom was killed before they were born and their coven magically transplanted them into our mom. Who is the headmistress of the school. Then some of their magic transferred into me, a fertilized egg that was never supposed to be there and then boom. Magic babies. Both my parents are vampires so I'm a hybrid. And because I'm half-vampire I can siphon myself and I have vampire abilities but I can walk in the sun and don't have to drink blood since I haven't died yet. I figured it'd be better for me to explain than some other student who wouldn't know the whole thing." Lily explained, leaving Athena shocked.
"Wow. You can't got so much hotter." Athena stated making Lily's eyes go wide and she dropped the table on her foot. "Oh my god!" Lily screamed as she lifted the table off her foot. "Holy shit are you okay?" Athena asked helping Lily sit down on the table to look at her foot. "Ah. Uh... I'll be fine, just... Give me a minute. It'll heal." At this, Athena took a stray piece of Lily's hair and put it behind her ear.
Getting too close for comfort, Lily sat back, and took Athena's hand away from her face. "Um, look... I'm not sure if Lizzie told you, but I have a girlfriend-" "I don't see her." Athena interrupted her and got a little closer. Lily put her hand up to stop Athena from getting closer. "Look, you're new, so I'm giving you a single warning." Lily paused as her stare went from kind to cold within seconds. "Everyone here is special. Everyone here us powerful. And everyone here can snap at any second. We all have dark sides. Some of us are nicer than others, some have more control. But all of us are dangerous. So I'm warning you once... If you ever try to make a move on me-" Lily paused and laughed darkly before looking Athena in the eyes darkly, "I will become your worst nightmare. I've killed and I will do it again. So don't tempt fate." Athena stood there shocked, and with that Lily walked away.

"I'm not going to tell them about me." "Why not!" Lizzie asks in an annoyed tone as she and Hope walk through the woods. "Because it's not going to change anything. Arrow." They pause as an arrow goes into the tree in front of them. "Be more careful next time Frank!" Lizzie yells, and the duo continues walking.
"It would change everything-" Lizzie starts but Hope interrupts her. "No it won't. When I saw that portal I knew there was only one way to stop the monsters from coming. I'm just gonna have to jump back in a close it, and everyone is just going to forget me all over again. I was created to be a loophole. It's my destiny." When Hope said this Lizzie stopped and looked at her like she was crazy. "Yeah? And what about my sister Hope! Because last I checked, SHE STILL REMEMBERED YOU! AND SHE WAS BROKEN BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT YOU DIED THAT SHE SHUT OFF HER HUMANITY!" Once Lizzie yelled this Hope looked at the ground.
"Yeah, you didn't think about that did you. This might not be what you want to hear, but we need you, Hope. Lily, the girl you've been best friends with since you were seven, the girl that you're in love with, needs you." They both turn around as they hear the minotaur. "Run!" they both start running, the minotaur stops as spikes come up from the ground as they both run into an open field.
"Come on, the school should be right last here," Lizzie says as the walk through the bushes. They pause when they see they've ended up back at the town square. "Oh hey! Ready to take that deal yet?" The keeper asks and she power walks by.
"What I'm ready to do, is take your maze and shove it up your-" Lizzie starts, but the keeper stops her. "Oh it's not a maze, it's a labyrinth. Know the difference?" "Do I look like a nerd?" Lizzie almost screams.
"A maze has multiple paths, a labyrinth only has one." Hope answers and the keeper speaks, "Exactly. The only way out is for one of you to take the deal." As the keeper walks away, Lizzie turns to Hope, "Granted, her legs are amazing but she is a royal bitch. So what do we do?" Hope looks at her with a saddened face, "We take the deal. And I stay behind."

Lily had left her bedroom door open as she looked at her two outfit options for the dance. "The pink one. Brings out your eyes." turning to hear the voice, she sees Alec leaning against her door in an all-black outfit. "Baby, from dirty dancing?" he asks and she gives him a light smile. "How'd you know?" Lily asks as she puts the other outfit in her closet. "Well anyone who knows anything about good movies has had to have seen it. I mean it's a classic, plus as you can tell by my outfit, I come from the same movie." Alec replies gesturing to his outfit. Before Lily could reply, there was a knock on her door and Alaric appeared next to Alec.
"I'd like to speak to my daughter. Alone." when Alaric said this Lily glared, and Alec looked to her, "Save me a dance baby." with that, he left.
"Baby?" Alaric asks and Lily rolls her eyes before walking to her closet to change. "Its the character from dirty dancing. Her real name was Francis but everyone called her Baby." she pauses as she talks back out in the dress with white heels. "Now what do you want, Alaric" Lily asks, emphasizing his name to make it clear she no longer sees him as a father figure.
"You voted me out." Lily raises an eyebrow at hearing this, and goes to put on light make-up with deep red lipstick. "You say that with surprise in your voice. I figured you would have known I voted you out. Everything did happen because of the choices you've made." Alaric shakes his head before responding, "That's not true." This makes Lily laugh dryly. "No?  You chose to bring Landon with us when we found Rafael. You told him about the school. You left him unguarded and he got out. And then you brought him back after the dragon. Then we voted him out, and you let him back in. And let's not forget. You were the one who had that dark object in the school to begin so when triad came, we were defenseless. I ALMOST DIED! So all of this happening, Hope jumping into that pit included, is your fault. Now stop acting like my father because you're not him. Get out."
With that, Lily used her magic to slam her door shut. She waited until she heard him walk into her sisters' room next to her before leaving. As she was walking to the dance, she passes Landon. Before he knew it, Landon was pinned to the wall with Lily's hand around his neck.
"Listen up Garden Gnome. If you even think about having sex with my sister, I will rip you limb from limb and we can see if phoenixes can come back from the dead and regrow body parts. Got it?" Landon nods his head rapidly and Lily lets him go and starts walking to the dance.

As the dance continued, the DJ started playing The Time Of My Life. Looking over towards the DJ, Lily spotted Alec smirking. He walked over to her and held out a hand. Lily started laughing but took his hand none the less, it was a dance, so why not dance.
"You know the dance right?" Lily asked as Alec led her to the center of the dance floor. "Of course." with his answer, they started the dance and people cleared room, making a circle so they could watch. People were whistling and whooping, "Just so you know-" Lily paused as she spun out, before spinning back in, "I'm dancing with you because I want to. Not because I like you or anything."
"Ouch, my ego." Alec says whilst laughing. "You show an awful lot of school spirit." Lily looks at him confused. "Your necklace. It has the schools crest on it." realization hits her and she glances to the ground, "No. It's my family crest. My dad gave it to me before I basically killed him again. My last name is Salvatore." "My apologies for mentioning it." Alec remarks and Lily just shrugs, "You didn't know."
As the song starts to end Alec dances off a bit before turning around. He holds his arms out to Lily and she laughs. Then she nods her head slowly. "I can't believe I'm about to do this." she whispered to herself before running to Alec, and the do the iconic lift. People start clapping.
Once Alec sets her down, and the song ends, they start laughing. "Okay, I admit, that was fun." Lily states and Alec agrees. Then she glances over and sees Hope and Lizzie at a table in the corner of the room, a big smile spreads across her face. "Excuse me, Alec, my girlfriend just got here. I'll see you around, maybe we make a dance team or something." Lily comments the last part jokingly making him laugh.
"Hey! I've been wondering where you two were!" Lily. Says as she walks up to her sister and her girlfriend, not hearing what they were just talking about. "That's some dance you just did Lillian. I'm impressed." Lizzie says smirking making Lily blush at the compliment. "Who was that guy you were dancing with?" Hope asks trying to not sound jealous. "He is one of the new vampires I was showing around today. His name is Alec, he'pretty cool. You guys want to dance?"
As they walk to the dance floor, Lizzie looks over to Hope and her sister, "If either if you tell anyone I will deny it, but I'm happy you're back Hope. And I'm very happy to have my sister back too." "Aww Lizzie" Lily coos and the three witches hug.
After dancing for a few songs, Lily turns to Hope and Lizzie, "So what did you guys today anyway?" as she asks that, Lizzie grabs her hand and spins her, but Lily froze because what Hope and Lizzie didn't know, was that Lily accidentally saw Lizzie's memories of the day.
"Sorry, I-uh... I have to go." Lily stated quickly before walking out of the dance and towards the woods. This confused the two girls and they went to follow her.
"Lily? Lily, what's going on?" Lizzie asks as they reach the woods. Lily turns around inhumanly fast and looks at Hope with a few tears leaving her eyes. "After everything you're just going to leave again? Make everyone forget you again? Except me! Do you have ANY idea what it was like for me after everyone BUT me forgot you?! Everyone thought that I finally snapped, that I was hallucinating someone that never existed! Some people believed me. Most didn't. And I was so upset, and so broken that I couldn't handle the pain! And you're going to make me go through that again!"
By now, Lily got so angry and so upset that they could hear the trees cracking, the wind picked up and the ground shook a little.
Hope and Lizzie looked at her in shock. "H-how did you know that?" Hope asks quietly and Lizzie figures it out. "When I touched you, you saw my memories didn't you?" she asks her sister and Lily looks at her, slowly nodding. "It was an accident. But yeah I did."
Hope reaches out for Lily's hand, but she pulls away. Hope sighs in defeat and looks to the ground before deciding what to say. "Look, Lil, I was planning on telling you-" "When? Mid dive like last time?" Lily asks coldly. Lizzie flinches, she's never heard her sister speak to either of them in that tone before, it was always sweet and soft, maybe a little angry sometimes when Lizzie pissed her off but never this cold.
"I swear I was going to tell you. But we were so happy right now just being together and then today Lizzie helped me realize that we don't just exist for one reason. Or one destiny. So we will figure out a different way to close the portal I promise. I'm not leaving. I won't do that to you again I swear." As Hope says this she walks over to Lily and takes her hands in her own. "Okay? I promise. I won't leave you again." Hope whispers, and kisses Lily's forehead.
At that, Lily pulls away. Making both Lizzie and Hope look hurt, as well as herself. "I need time." that was all Lily said before she walked away. Making Hope look to Lizzie. "I think I messed up." Hope releases a few tears and Lizzie hugs her. "What do I do?" Hope asks and Lizzie just sighs before replying, "I guess we give her time. And then I'm going to make sure everything turns out fine."

After changing into some jeans and a Queen t-shirt, Lily walks into her sisters' room without knocking. "Hey Jo, want to go on a little trip?" Lily asks holding up her car keys and adjusting her backpack on her shoulder. "Where to?" Josie asks whilst packing a bag.
"New Orleans."
