It's not like you two have any real connection. He'd be better off without you. He was unlucky
enough to get tangled up with someone as shady as you.â
Regina couldn't help but laugh. She was shady? What did that make Madeline then?
Clinging to her father's surname, spewing nonsense, Madeline really thought highly of herself.
âMadeline, why are you so full of yourself? What's it to you if I'm with Nolan or not? Whether we
stay married or get a divorce, it's not like he's going to fall for you. You might as well give up on
that fantasy.â
