"If you're set on returning the favor, then promise me one thing,” Nolan offered after sipping his

beer.

Regina perked up. “What's that?”

“Promise me you'll stay out of the developer's business. It's not as straightforward as yo think.”

Regina sank back into her original spot on the couch, her posture now exuding a newfound

confidence.

“Mr. Harris, what are you implying? I thought I made myself clear last time. If it has nothing to do

with Harris Group, then you have no reason to keep meddling. The more you try to stop me, the

more I suspect there's a reason for it.”
