Chapter 2674
Regina watched him with a mix of skepticism and curiosity. His gaze seemed genuine enough, but
the claim that Dahlia had reserved a seat for him raised a few red flags. Could it be that they were
an item?
The thought sent a jolt of surprise through Regina's mind-it wasn't out of the realm of possibility.
The fact that Dahlia had saved a seat for him spoke volumes about his significance in her life.
If this was true, it would be a scoop of epic proportions!
Back at the newsroom, jaws would drop. This was the kind of headline that made careers. A plan
began to form in Reginaâs mind. This man could be her breakthrough.
The music started, and Dahlia glided onto the stage with the grace of a swan, captivating everyone's
attention, including Regina's. Seated in the front row, the impact was immeasurable, far beyond
anything a video could convey.
"Holy cow,â Regina gasped, as did the rest of the audience. She couldn't help but sneak a peek at
the man again, only to find a smile playing on his lips.
So, Mr. Poker Face does smile after all.
His pride for Dahlia was unmistakable, further convincing Regina of their connection.
Regina had seen her fair share of stage performances, having frequented theaters abroad and even
Broadway. So, while Dahliaâs performance was initially breathtaking, Regina soon regained her
composure. It was rare to see such talent in the nation, and the hype around Dahlia was
understandable.
Dahliaâs movements were fluid; though her arm extensions weren't as impressive as some, they were
executed with conviction. The choreography was clever, keeping Regina engaged throughout the
two-hour performance, snapping photo after photo of Dahliaâs leaps and spins.
As the curtain fell, Regina was ready to pounce for an interview. She could hardly wait to approach
Dahlia, who had given her all on stage and was now visibly exhausted.
Backstage, Dahlia wanted nothing more than to collapse, and her colleagues knew better than to
overwhelm her post-performance.
All except one.
As she glanced towards her team, one of them intuitively knew who she sought.
âMr. Harris is waiting for you backstage,â he informed her.
Dahlia nodded, not even bothering to change out of her costume, and made her way to the

dressing room.
Another staff member then asked, âMaâam, there's a reporter named Regina from New Blossom
Press wanting to interview you. Shall we let her in?â
New Blossom Press was a top-tier publication, originally focused on mainstream stories but had
recently branched into entertainment to keep up with the digital age. A feature in their magazine
could do wonders for publicity.
Dahlia managed a weary smile, her eyes flickering with disinterest. âYou know my policy.â
The staff member quickly bowed his head. âMy apologies.â
He simply thought missing out on a New Blossom Press interview was a missed opportunity.
