Chapter 1875

And so, she decided to wrest her son from Ellinor's clutches.

She thought that since the Blanchets had taken in Baber, they must have had some sort of affection

for him. As long as she could regain control over him, they would have to respect her and maybe

even give her some advantages.

Most importantly, with Baber by her side, she could still maintain some sort of connection with

Theo. Maybe they could even rekindle their old flame.

But alas, that boy was so weak. He died after just a few kicks.

As Patricia was pondering over how to dispose of the boy's body, a barking sound startled her.

How could there be dogs in the woods?

Could it be a wolf?

Damn, she didn't have any weapons to protect herself with.

There was no time to think too much. Patricia looked around quickly and started running down the

mountain.

Whether it was a stray dog or a wolf, they could feast on Baber's body first. She could use this time

to escape.

The barking sound got closer.

Several police dogs rushed out from different directions, heading towards Baber, who was lying on

the ground.

The child was found, and the dogs barked in unison.

Following closely behind one of the dogs, Ellinor and her group hastened their steps.

The moment she saw Baber lying on the ground, Ellinor broke down. She knelt down, touched

Baber's forehead, and shook him.

“Baber! Baber! It's Mommy! Mommy is here! Wake up!”

“Baber! Open your eyes and look at me! Mommy came to save you!”

“Baber...”

No matter how much Ellinor shook the boy, no matter how much she called out to him, Baber

showed no response.

It was then that Ellinor feared the worst. She checked for any signs of breathing, and after getting

no response, she swooned from the shock. Theo supported Ellinor while checking for any signs of

breathing from his son. His eyebrows furrowed, and he screamed, “Quick! Where is the medical

team?! Save my son!”

The medical personnel, who had arrived with the police, immediately checked the boy's condition

and started emergency procedures.

Byran watched everything unfold in disbelief. He couldn't believe that his sister was capable of such

a thing

Baber was once a child she had adopted and loved. How could she treat her own child this way? He

was a living being!

The last time he saw Baber, the boy was happily playing with his siblings. But now, just a few days

later, he was...

Balfour calmly surveyed the surroundings while communicating with the police and Theo's people,

instructing them to continue searching the area for any suspicious individuals.
