The mother of the child chimed in. âExactly!â
Ellinor raised an eyebrow. âLet's see whether it was a fight or just one-sided aggression. Where can
we review the surveillance footage, Director?â
The director blinked. She stole glances at Ellinor, then at the parents of the supposedly assaulted
child. âWell...â
The father huffed. âFine, let's see the footage. Their child didn't even lose a single hair strand, and
they have the audacity to suggest it was a brawl? I canât wait to hear her excuses after watching the
footage!â
Seeing that both parties agreed to view the surveillance, the director led them towards the security
room.
The supposedly assaulted child was nestled in his mother's arms as he whimpered. When he heard
about viewing the footage, he timidly tugged at his father's coat.
The father assumed his son was scared and gently ruffled his hair, reassuring him. âDonât worry,
buddy. Today, your mom and dad will make sure justice is served, and the little rascal will apologize
to you.â
With that, he carried his son and followed the director to the security room as his wife trailed
behind him.
In the security room, a single guard was present. The director instructed him to bring up the
footage from the time of the alleged fight.
While the guard was busy with the footage, the director was busy apologizing to the couple, fearing
they might redirect their anger towards her preschool after seeing their child being assaulted.
Ellinor watched it all with an unreadable expression as her eyes flashed with disdain.
When she enrolled her three children in this preschool, she didn't reveal her family background. She
merely stated that she ran a small business.
Apparently, the director assumed the couple held a higher social status, hence the preferential
treatment.
This dispute occurred between two children, and she readily blamed her son, Baber, without even
bothering to review the necessary surveillance footage?
Was she serious?
How ridiculous!
"Director, the footage is ready.â The security guard reported as he stood up.
The director nodded, offering the parents of the assaulted child the seats in front of the monitor,
completely ignoring Ellinor.
She pressed the play button, and the footage began.
In the video, a teacher was initially present in the classroom. Upon hearing a noise outside, the
teacher stepped out to check.
Soon after, the teacher returned, called Baber to the front, and asked him to sit in the small chair
facing the class.
The teacher informed him that she had to step out for a while and asked Baber to read a storybook
to the class.
All the children obediently agreed.
Once the teacher left the classroom, Baber unfolded the storybook and began reading to his
classmates.
Just as he finished reading a segment, a chubby boy from the back row left his seat, walked over,
and snatched a butterfly hair clip from a little girl sitting in the front row.
The girl's hair was tousled, and she started crying, demanding the boy return her hair clip.
