Byran was the first to break the silence. “Sis, what were you and Theo up to? What's the deal with

this nurse?”

Ellinor blushed, unsure of how to respond.

Ida elbowed Byran, hinting at him to keep quiet. She then approached Ellinor, asking with concern,

"Boss, are you okay?”

Ellinor nodded. “I'm fine. Ida. What are you doing at the hospital?”

Ida shot a disgruntled look at Byran. “This guy tricked me into coming. I happened to see Sophia

when I arrived and thought something was off, so I came over to investigate.”

Ellinor glanced at the two of them, narrowing her eyes slightly. “So, you've already met his father?”

Ida's face stiffened. Even she, the usually cool and composed woman, couldn't help but blush. “Boss,

it's not what you think.”

Byran leaned in and interrupted. “It's exactly what you think, Sis. I introduced Ida to our dad. He

seemed quite fond of her. I think he'll approve of our marriage... Ouch!”

Before he could finish, he was abruptly interrupted by another elbow jab from Ida, cutting him off

mid-sentence.

Byran winced in pain and pouted. “Ida, even if I wasn't injured, you don't have to be so rough. Are

you trying to murder your husband-to-be?”

Ida glared at him. “Shut up! If you keep talking nonsense, I'll break up with you!”

Byran quickly backed down. “Please, Ida..."

“Cough!” Balfour couldnt stand his younger brother's submissive demeanor and said in a deep

voice, “Go back upstairs and keep an eye on Dad. Stop whining here; you're not acting like a

man.”

Byran instantly became more submissive, but he didn't forget to mumble something under his

breath, “When my brother finds a woman he likes, he might be even more whiny than me.’

Although his voice was low, Balfour heard it, and his face darkened in an instant. He furrowed his

brows. “What did you say? Speak up!”

Byran shivered. “Nothing! I said nothing! Uh... sis, what should we do with this nurse?”

Afraid of being beaten by his brother, he quickly shifted the focus back to Ellinor.

Ellinor glanced coldly at the nurse on the floor who had tried to take advantage of her man. “Just

leave her. She'll wake up on her own.”

Byran looked somewhat worried. “Aren’t you afraid she'll say something to the doctor when she

wakes up?”

Ellinor smirked and glanced subtly at Balfour. “She won't say a thing, right, Mr. Howard?”

Balfour got the hint from his sister, raising his hand to pat her on the head. “Yes, she won't say a

thing. Don't worry.”

Ellinor shrugged. “Alright, Sophia must've left by now. We should get going too.”

With that, she stepped over the nurse on the floor and headed for the door.

Balfour followed closely behind his sister.

Byran stood in place, looking confused. “What does that mean? Why won't the nurse say anything

when she wakes up? How can my sister and brother be so sure?”

Ida shot him a disdainful look. “Are you coming or not?"

Byran hurriedly followed Ida, asking, “Ida, do you know why my brother and sister are so confident

about the nurse? I feel like she'll definitely report this to the doctor as soon as she wakes up.”
