Chapter 1605

Lea could picture a woman of striking beauty, for only such a woman could have birthed such an

attractive child.

After she had escorted Adrian to the door of his suite, she didn't pry any further. “Right, go find

your dad now. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about you.” She

assured him.

Adrian nodded, thanked her again, and obediently entered the suite alone.

After watching Adrian enter, Lea stood in the corridor, lost in thought.

She had a nagging feeling that the boy's face reminded her of someone she had met when she was

younger. Initially, she couldn't figure out who it might be, but when she heard “Tristan’ describe how

he was mistakenly brought here, a memory from years ago resurfaced.

That year, after a bitter argument with her father, her mother stormed out of the house, taking Lea

with her. During their journey, they had a car accident. Her mother was in critical condition and

urgently needed a blood transfusion.

Her mother had a rare blood type, and there was not enough blood of that type in the hospital's

blood bank.

Just then, a beautiful lady appeared like an angel and dohated a generous amount of blood, saving

her mother’s life.

That good Samaritan’s face was still vivid in Lea's mind. Tristan’ and Tristan shared a resemblance

with that lady.

Could such coincidences really happen?

Could it be that Tristan's biological mother was the good Samaritan who saved her mother's life?

Adrian carried that painting into the bedroom to find Marcus.

Marcus was sitting in his wheelchair, enjoying the breeze on the balcony alone.

“Dad.”

Adrian carefully called out as he approached the balcony, worried that he might startle his father.

Marcus, who had already heard his son coming in, turned his head and gently responded, “Why are

you back alone?”

Adrian hid the painting behind his back. “Dad, I got something really nice. You can give it to mom

next time she visits. She'll be really happy.” Marcus raised an eyebrow in curiosity. “Oh? What is this

thing that can make your mom so happy?”

Adrian grinned, revealing the painting he had been hiding. “Dad, look! This painting!”

Marcus looked at the landscape painting unfurled before him. It was beautifully done, but he

couldn't figure out what made it so special.

“Does your mom like this painting?”

Adrian nodded enthusiastically. “Yes! My mom loves paintings by this artist. If you give her this

painting, she'll be absolutely thrilled and start to like you more.” With a hint of helplessness, Marcus

patted his son's head, appreciating his efforts. The boy still didn't know that he and his mom were

actually a couple. “Can you tell me why your mom likes this artist's paintings so much?”

Adrian saw no reason to hide the truth from his handsome dad. “Well... because this artist... Dad,

Mom doesn’t want us to tell anyone about this. I'm only telling you, so you can't betray my trust,

okay?"

Marcus nodded. “Don't worry, I won't.”

With that assurance, Adrian finally relaxed and shared the secret. “Because this artist might be my

grandmother, Mom's mom.”
