Chapter 1580
Layla was adamant. âNo way!â
Bartlett tried to say something to the kid, but Ellinor intervened. âAlright, let's eat now. No talking at
the table.â
Layla promptly obeyed her motherâs words, glaring defensively at Bartlett as she nodded. âOkay...â
Bartlett cast a suggestive glance at Ellinor, but she didn't return the look, focusing instead on
serving food to her children.
Meanwhile, in the menâs room of the restaurant.
Ida dragged Byran into a stall, promptly locking the door.
Their sudden arrival startled two men who were mid-stream. They hastily zipped up and ran off as if
they'd seen a ghost.
With a flick of her wrist, Ida threw Byran against the wall. Her aura as a female boss radiated
endlessly from her stern posture.
However, Byran was unfazed. He flashed his devil-may-care grin. âIda, what are you up to? Here, of
all places... Not cool, right?â
Ida slapped him dismissively on his handsome face. âDo you only think with your lower half?"
Byran tilted his chin defiantly. âOf course not. I'm a decent man.â
Ida smirked. âOh really? Decent where? I can't see it!"
Byran lifted his arm, pulling her close to him. âOf course you can't see it! When I'm around you, I
can't think of anything decent. All I can think of is how to win you
over.â
Ida wasn't fond of this proximity and tried to push him away, but alas, he was too strong. âLet go!"
Byran's eyebrows quirked playfully. âI won't let go. You brought me here, but you're gonna leave
without giving me a treat?â
Ida frowned deeply. âI brought you here to remind you not to talk nonsense when we get back to
the table. Didn't you see that your sister was upset because of your nonsensical chatter?â
âI wasn't talking nonsense! I was just expressing my true feelings. I'm the kind of person who gives
his all when I'm in love. You should know that better than anyone, Ida.â
As he spoke, he pulled her even closer.
Ida's gaze hardened. âIf you keep messing around like this, I'm not going to date you anymore.â
Though Byran still possessed some of his childish stubbornness, he was no longer the naive boy
from three years ago who would be scared by such threats.
Upon hearing Ida's warning, he snorted with laughter. âAh, so you also think we're in a relationship?
I thought you were still the same as three years ago, thinking that we're just fooling around and
there's no need to even talk about breaking up.â
Ida was taken aback. She was truly at a loss for words.
Did she actually subconsciously think they were in a relationship?
This thought frightened her a bit.
Byran, like a dog that had just been praised, hugged Ida tightly, nuzzling his head against her. âIda,
I'm your boyfriend now, right?â
Ida fell silent.
Not getting an answer from her, Byran rubbed his face against her neck, play fully nipping at her
skin. âTell me. Say I'm your boyfriend.â
Ida's heart pounded, realizing that this rascal had managed to ruffle her feathers, not just physically,
but emotionally as well.
âStop messing around, Sir!â
