Ellinor nodded. She watched him drive away, then she carried her son and entered the Blanchet

family’s door.

As soon as she entered, she bumped into Veronica, who was sneaking around near the front door.

out with Belinda? How come it was the guy from the Rex family who brought you home? Do you

usually keep in touch with him?”

Holding the child, Ellinor glanced at her and said as she walked inside, “Belinda is still at her friend's

place. I ran into Bartlett, and he gave us a ride home.” A chance encounter? Bartlett just happened

a few of our house servants accompany them. I was just with them, but when I saw Bartlett bringing

you home, I came over.”

Ellinor glanced towards the garden. Sure enough, Baber and Layla were flying something. When she

looked up at the sky, she was surprised by the kite's design.
