Chapter 1529
Callum eyed her puzzled expression. âDonât worry about others. How about you? How have you
been lately?â
Belinda came to her senses and shrugged. âSame old..."
Callum asked, âSleeping any better?â
Belinda sighed. âNot really, Usually, I can't sleep till midnight, and I often have nightmares. I feel
tired even after waking up.â
Callum put down his coffee mug, and his expression became serious. âIf you keep this up, you might
really need to consider medication.â
Ellinor was walking around the neighborhood holding âAdrian, not seeing any taxis passing by.
This was a high-end residential area, and seldom would anyone need a taxi, so taxis rarely came
here to solicit customers.
Her arm started to ache from carrying âAdrianâ for so long.
Since they couldn't get a taxi for now, they might as well find a place to have a good chat.
She saw a flower bed in the green belt ahead. Ellinor walked over and put down the child in her
arms, sitting next to him on the edge of the flower bed.
âAdrianâ was somewhat confused and continuously blinked at her. âMommy, aren't we going
home?â
Ellinor scrutinized the child in front of her. She squinted her eyes and held the little guy's face, but
still there were no noticeable differences.
âAdrianâ furrowed his brows uneasily. âMommy, what's wrong? Why are you looking at me like
that?â
Ellinor's eyes darkened slightly, and she said, âYou're not Adrian, are you?"
Tristan was taken aback, and his eyes immediately filled with guilt. â1...â
From his eyes, Ellinor already knew the answer. âWas it the day we were flying kites when I brought
you back by mistake?â
Tristan nodded honestly.
Ellinor stared at her son, who had been lost for three years and had miraculously returned to her
side. Her voice began to tremble slightly. âSince I brought you back by mistake, why didn't you say
anything?â
Tristan lowered his head. âI just wanted to stay with you for a few more days before going back...â
Ellinor felt a pain in her heart. âWhy do you wish to stay with me for a few more days? You hadn't
met me before that
Tristan fiddled with the hem of his shirt anxiously. âI don't know why; I just feel comfortable and
relaxed when I'm with you.â
Ellinor fell silent, and her eyes welled up with tears.
Tristan asked, âEllinor, are you going to send me back to Dad and get your own son back?â
After hearing him call her Ellinor, she felt even more heartbroken. So, the boy really didn't know she
was his biological mother.
âDo you want to stay with me because you're not happy with your dad?â
Tristan shook his head. âI'm not really unhappy with Dad. He loves me very much and spends time
with me every day. But I don't like the woman with Dad. She always finds reasons to restrict us from
going out and keeps us at home.â
Ellinor frowned slightly. She naturally knew the woman the child was talking about.
âIs this woman not nice to you?â
Tristan nodded and then shook his head. His expression was complicated, not knowing whether to
describe Sophia as good or bad.
âShe says sheâs my mommy, and she takes care of me and Dad, but she always restricts our freedom
and doesn't let us interact with other people, especially Dad.â
