After giving instructions to Collin, Theo took out his phone to check his chat with Ellinor. His eyes

couldn't help but soften when he saw the goodnight message she sent before she fell asleep.

He sent her a text.

“You up yet?"

Not long after, a photo of her half-eaten breakfast was sent over.

His eyes slightly squinted as he texted her. “You went to bed late, so why are you up so early?”

Her reply was swift. “You think I shouldn't be up this early, yet you've texted me this early. Are you

trying to mess with my sleep?”

Theo frowned. “You have quite a sharp tongue. Can I see you?"

"How?" She asked.

Uncertain, Theo trod carefully with his next text. “Can I come to the Howard's?”

Her reply was immediate. “No! We should minimize contact until that matter is settled.”

Theo sighed. He realized his mistake and didn’t pursue the subject.

Then she sent over a selfie. In the photo, she was staring intently at the camera

“Just look at me like this.”

A small smile made its way to Theo's face, and he chuckled. “Alright.”

Even though she looked a little fierce in the picture, he found her quite appealing.
