Ana' pov:
I am now working as waitress in my restaurant. You may think why I am working as a waitress in my own restaurant. One of the waitress has some problem, she told me that she will be here by 10:00 so I take her place.
In mornings we have many customers as they are hurry to their office and work. So I am helping others that means I am working for my restaurant. My restaurant should not get any bad name, right. Jen came with me that David will come here with their friends to discuss some business.
I am taking orders from customers then doorbell ring that someone came. I turn around to saw Fiona and Zack came. They went to jen and greet each other and sat opposite to her. I am checking weather any customer requires anything. I saw David entered and search for jen and when he saw her he said hello to her move towards and hug her.
I was about to take orders from jen table I saw Mr. King enter the restaurant, I was surprised to see him here. He looks so handsome as always in that black suit. Then I hear other voice "why are you looking like that. You know you should not behave like that. You may fall in love." I swept the thoughts from my brain, he did not saw me. So I moved to take orders from Jen table thinking he may come here to meet his friends.
I went to take orders then they were shocked to see me then I hear his voice " hiii.. why are you that much shocked to see me?" Mr. King back is my behind that he can't see my face.
Then I moved aside to that he can take his seat.
Alex's pov:
I get call from David that we should discuss something about our business. He sent location, So I went to that restaurant at 9:00 to know what was the problem. I enter the hotel then I search for my friends sat at the corner.
Zack, Fin, Dav and Jen are their, so I move towards them they all are shocked to see me. I asked "hiii.. why are you that shocked to see me?" Then waitress move aside to take my place , so I sat beside fin and Zack.
Other side Jen and Dav had sat. Then Fin asked "what are you doing here? you work here also?. Why you have your business then why you need to work here as a waiter?" without space
Dav asked "you know her" in question mark face. Then I was about to see her face Fin replied "yes. She was Jen friend." Dav interrupt her"okay. She never interested in meeting others . So I was surprised"
Jen replied "I recommended her for work, other than that she never meet Fiona ". I saw the person who was that then "what are you doing here Ms. Khanna" I asked unknown to me with surprise. Then fin asked is correct why she need to work as waitress. Then all ask at the same time "you know her ?"
" yes Ms. Khanna is working with me in Maldives project. Fin suggest her" I replied. Then all understood what I said. She replied "Good Morning Mr. King"
Jen said " Ana that is bad. you did not share with me this matter" she pouted. Ananya (ana) replied "I told you that I am working with a big company".
" okay... when are you giving me party then" Jen asked. Ana said "consider this as my treat then. Today order what you want okay"
"okay then I will order all famous dishes you have in this restaurant" jen replied. "okay. Enjoy" ana said.
Then nick joined us. He did not understand anything what happening here and sat beside Dav.
Then fin asked "How can she pay all the bill here. It is high for her to pay for all of us" then she looked ana and continued. "You can separately give her party or we can pay our bill".
Ana replied "you said we are friends then why are you separating me" she asked raising her eyebrows.
By that jen starts laughing loudly that all customers watch at our side. Then dav stop her. then she said "that's why I said you should not work as waitress". She turned towards us and said " for your kind information Ananya Khanna is the owner of this" showing restaurant and said " Khanna Family restaurant and hotel". We all are grasped to hear that.
Fin said "really". Then asked " why she is wearing that dress? ". All of us looking for jen to reply ". One of the waiter has some problem, so she take her place as customers are in high at this time". We all shocked to hear her.
I was surprised by her nature again. By seeing this restaurant is not a small it has great name in the society by hearing while I am coming here. It is most famous restaurant in this area. Then nick said "can you introduce me to her" then dav said "here she is Ananya Khanna "pointing towards ana and pointing towards nick he said "this is Nicholas Heyles" both greet eachother.
Ana asked pointing us "can I take orders now". Then jen replied "as usual famous cappuccino with cream and toast" dav "same as jen" Then she asked "fin and Zack" they told their orders. Then asked " Mr. Heyles and Mr. King" then nick replied " call me nick I am also so as them so please don't make me feel old" ."okay Mr. Hy.. sorry nick what can I get for you" nick told his order then she asked "Mr. King" fin replied " you can call him Alex because you are our friend now" fin asked me " you okay bro" ,
"No problem" I replied. Then she said "I must not be professional. He is my boss how can I fin"
"you are not my employee. You work with me that it then there is no problem in calling me by name" "in office you can call me with my surname" I said I don't know why I replied in that manner.
Fin replied "now you are our batch so you should attend all our girl nights, parties etc,,"
Jen replied "Don't ask her these questions. She is workaholic she never take leave 24 hrs work work " continued "for that reason I never take her to any parties and functions. She never attend them says that she don't know anyone" in criticize manner.
Upto now I thought only man will be work like that but she again surprised me. She works very hard by listening to jen reply.
I look at my watch its already 10:00 Fin replied " From now onwards you should attend all functions with us .Now we 7 members are BFF . Sorry we have another one but not here By that we are 8 members"
Ana write our orders and left. We are discussing our business that our rivals are trying to find our shipments and try to block them. By the time one of our worker find it and clear the problem. If any damage happens to load then we have to face many problems. We get the solution. Then our food placed before us in 15 minutes .
Jen said "Ana it 10:15 the Waiter did not come till now" "she came. so I am leaving now. To tell you that I came here"
Jen stopped ana and asked her to join us but she told she have meeting. I know what she is speaking so I told "Ana you have meeting with Mr. King who is present before you then what will you do at company " I asked.
Fin replied "then you should join us that is final". All of us have our breakfast together and discuss about different thing like small chit chat with friends.
After that all are left one by one at 11:30. I asked her can I see her restaurant, she agreed. So I watch the designs the way she arrange the restaurants. It have some cabins for privacy and some are public.
I asked her " this interior is done by you" she nodded.
The designing are super you can say there are some paintings I watch them before but I am not sure. She showed complete hotel. It was amazing and extraordinary. The designs are unique and paintings are all nice.
"Ana you have good choice and designing skills, Those are absolutely Fantastic" I replied.
Ana's pov:
I was not believing myself that I am a friend of billionaire. All the man here are top most popular persons that every person want to meet.
After all left Alex asked me tour my restaurant and he appreciated my work. Then I asked that I have to leave. Its already 12:30 we should have to discuss about work and my documents are at my work place.
So I have to go to my place first and then to Kings company I thought. But Alex said that he will give raid to company as we both are moving to same place, " I have to go to my work place to collect some documents" I said.
"Okay Ana. After taking your things we can leave or we can discuss at your place itself. If you don't have any problem" Alex replied.
"I am so grateful for that" I replied. We went to my organization. All my team members are there, so I introduced all the batch to him.
Alex's Pov:
I was looking the pictures hanging in the company of previous work of Ana. It looks simple but different. It was unique designs for local houses and hotels.
She went to discuss some work with their batch. Her Designing company is not big but the people working here also talented. The professional way they behave we can think they are from a big or famous designing companies.
After her work I said about contract that all members all listening carefully. " We are starting this project from Feburary to June 5 months contract rules and terms are given in the contract .You can read them" I said and forward the copies to them. Mrs. Charles brought them few minutes ago.
"Then about payment As you are the head Ms. Khanna you get $10,000 and $6,000 for your team per person" I said .
"It is small amount for us Mr.King" Ana continued "We will get $12,000 for small projects in local .Then this is a big project and you are suggesting same price for that big project. We all work with you 5 months nearly. So we expect correct payment for our hardwork." All her team members agreed to her "You misunderstood me. This payment is for per month Ms. Khanna. Every month your pay will be in your account" by that all are shocked.
One member of the team replied " it is too high"
Ana replied "Mr. King it is too high for per month" I interrupt her by saying "you are all working on a big project then how can you expect that it is high. if the work is more I should increase the salary"
By discussing about the work we end the meeting.
Ana asked "Mr. King I want to visit some of your restaurants in New York, that can I know how the designs must be for high society people" I agreed with her.
Designs must look in high level different from local designs. "okay. You can visit when you are free" I said. "when you want to visit Ms. Khanna" I asked.
"I am free now, so visit today itself" she said. "then I will give you a ride Ms. Khanna" I said.
"Mr. King you can call me Ana. Its feels uncomfortable to me because most of my clients calls me by name Ananya or Ana so you can call me by name. In your business you call by last name ...." I interrupt her. "okay Ana. I understood" "But you should also call me Alex" I replied.
"But all your employees call you by last name. It is not good to call you by first name Mr. king" she said. "in company you can call me by name but when we are out of the company you can call me Alex" she was about to talk I said " it's final" .
We went to my famous 5 star hotel she observed designs and take pictures of some designs. When I look at her I don't know why I feel something different .
She is not a gold digger, whore or anything do for money. Maximum friends of my sister or family always try to seduce me but something is special in her.
