Alex Pov:
We successfully completed the mission doing ; we were attacked by other mafia leaders to take control over underground business. Last time they group up with local mafia but this time they group up with other country mafias.
It was a little tough combat but we take them down in five days. David and I are here for this fight , nick was taking care of business , zack was accompanying my pregnant sister. She was nearly at the end of third trimester.
After 5 days long fight, I was exhausted because working day and night without sleep, I hand over remaining work to my subordinates and left to house.
The first thing I did after fresh up is to call ana, but her phone was switch off. I check the time; it was evening she might be in work. I lay on the bed checking for the interview.
I skip others and start to listen from ana's interview. Hearing her voice makes me fresh and active. This was the effect of love, how much you are tired seeing your loved ones makes you refresh.
I am slightly happy that she said she had a boyfriend, but I will be happy when I am beside her and tell the world my identity as her boyfriend. Seeing again and again the interview I slowly drifted to sleep.
I slept for three hours and it was already night. I am having the dinner send by David and calling ana. Even now her phone was switch off. By now all must go back from work, then why did ana phone was off till now.
I call the management know indirectly whether they are doing any overtime, Project manager said all are left. I called ana spacing in the hall. While I was thinking I remember Laura also was with ana, I called Laura. She didn't lift first, I called her again. This time she lifts the call,
" Hello" I called eagerly.
"Hello, Mr. King what can I do for you?" Laura said with a tense voice.
" Is ana with you?" I asked.
"Sir... " She hesitates.
" Is she with you?" I asked her again. But she was not replying .
" What the fuck is your problem?" I exploded. " I asked you where is she? Is she safe? Why her phone is off?"
" Sir, Ms. Khanna .... Was not here" she replied at last.
" Then where she is?" I asked, the more time was pass, the more I was worried.
" Sir, I don't know where she went" she said.
" What?" I asked impatiently.
"She allotted all the work and left two days before."
" Do you know where she left?"
" I don't know sir"
" Then what the hell do you know?" I shouted on the phone.
She hesitates but last said something that makes me annoyed.
" Do you check news about the project?"
" Now, I want to know about where ana is, not about the project" I retort.
" It was better to check the news first sir." I kept her on line and check the news on phone.
Seeing the news my grip on the phone is hard, other hand turn into a fist without my knowing I hit the tea table which was now break into pieces.
" When did it happen?" I questioned her with a demanding tone.
I can feel other side was shivering to speak " Next day after the interview."
Nearly four days and ana burden them all by herself, how did she face all them.
" How was she? How did she react? Is she okay?" I asked with concern.
She said each and every thing.

Next day after the interview :
Ana dresses up and went out of the room, she saw a worried Laura and john approaching her. she asked what it is .
The news in social media that ana get this project by sleeping with Mr. King. seeing the news ana grip on the phone tightened. Someone wants to get her trouble again. She was furious and want to kill the person who bad talk about her.
All over the location site has rumors that " Ms. Ananya Khanna get the project By Sleeping with Mr. Alexander Black King."
Ana didn't take that news and do her work like normal days. While ana was walking around she can hear all the dirty talk about her. She didn't care about what others think , she knows what she is and her staff believe her . they know what ana is, and they also know how close these friends were and alex also one of them.
At noon when she was having lunch with her staff, she heard other staff talk
" She looks innocent but see what she did to get the project?"
" I wonder why she reject to work with Milton's , she wants to get all the profit that's why she rejects Milton and become a single profiteer ."
" See how shameless she was, she was not embarrassed or feel bad about getting on other backs but having lunch"
" She was really bitch, she even dared to come out freely"
" How many she slept with before to get for this position."
All employees in the location think and talks same as others. Laura asked ana if she want to contact her friends or even ben. But ana did not allow others to know about it. Ana only said one thing " it was about me; I have to take care of it."
Laura tries to persuade her but ana did not " if others involve in it, it create problems for others." Ana will never drag others into it, if others talk for her and try to protect her , they only create other news saying she have affair with others.
At Noon ana was walking around then she was suddenly surrounded by reporters questioning her " What your relationship with Alex?" " Did the news were correct". " All the project you get were by sleeping with others"
Ana was irritated by their questions. "Stop it" she shouted. She was irritated by all these bad talks and humiliations from morning, she was not a person who care about these rumors. But all the people here are judging her ability and work. She has to work with these people for next few months how can she bear all of them. She has to prove herself and her ability and make these people know that she was not an opportunist or depend on others.
" What right do you have to decide me?" " What proof do you have? Just by other stupid words and pouring dirty water ? " ana questioned them.
" Ms. Khanna, See this." One of the reporters show a photo of ana in drunk state on the success party enter the alex home, some photos when they were alone before. Ana was stunned, but she gathers up her courage to talk " About Him and me is our personal matter, no one has a right to talk . About this project I get this project based on my ability."
" Ms. Khanna, we know about Mr. King, there are many ladies gained by him. what is special about you ? you also went to gain this project " one of the reporter questions her,
" It was the truth , you seduced Mr. King to get his vote and selected for the project." All of them suddenly questions make ana loose her confidence in herself . Before she replies ana felt something falling on her. she doesn't know from were but other side are throwing stones, waste , eggs and tomatoes.
Ana eyes turn dark red by this, she never expected all this to happen, she was pulled back by security guards around her and took her into the private room ot fresh up.
After few thoughts she called the head of the project and ask to meet.
In office cabin ana and two senior managing directors of the project Mr. Calon and Mr. Hughes were present.
Mr. Calon asked politely "Ms. Khanna , what do you want to do? We will clear this; you don't worry about it. "
Mr. Hughes suggested " We ask Our department to remove the news and get the person who posted it."
They suggested all the ways to close the news or taking legal actions on it.
Ana boldly said " what will be the use of it?" " If we remove the news that only raise suspicion about me and doesn't clear my name" they were dumb found by ana's reply. She then gave her plan , both heads were impressed by her solution.
Now they understand why Mr. King select her , what ? don't doubt them because they had worked with Mr. King from past few years then how can they don't know by the way alex treat ana. they also hear a rumour that Mr. King fall for a girl, and they experienced it . they were doubted before but confirmed last month in the dinner.
Next day they arranged a press meet to prove Ana's ability. Other few senior members of the government and senior interior designers were present. Lights are off and a recording was played on the screen.
It was a cctv footage on the presentation day, In the video ana first present her presentation and next Milton company representative present their prestation. The decision taking task, alex is the person who will announce the winner.
By seeing this video half of the reporters were on ana side , because they saw her ability displayed in the video.
Next, they were surprised to hear alex decision, the winner was not selected by alex, it was done by a voting process.
Alex said leaning on the chair " You all see and hear about the presentation. Now you guys vote to whom we should offer the project."
All were stunned because alex must choose one out of them but he asks others to choose.
Other members discussed for two minutes and voted; major votes are voted for ana's company.
This video completely explains about the selection process of the company, no one raise a word about her ability again.
But other fresh topic comes out " What is your relationship between You and Mr. King?" " Why are you so close with Mr. King?"
Ana replied " it was our personal matter; it has nothing to do with you. About my ability if you even have doubts you can approach my previous work and decided about it. " With that ana forward a detail of her previous works and also a video they played.
" Ms. Khanna, you must say ...." Before they talk ana stood up from her place and left.
She said " I will make my advocate to take legal actions about what happens yesterday." and left from there.
Even after she prove herself some people can't accept the truth, they still talk bad about her relation with alex.
Next day video was viral in news that prove her innocence.
But that night ana got a call, after that she arranged all her work to employees and left from there saying she will return in two to three days.

" What did she tell when ana was leaving?"
" She left at night, I asked her where, she said it was personal matter, she need to attend personally. so, I did not ask about it." She explained.
I cut the call and called ana, it was still off. I called our friends ( Nick , Sanj and Jen ) Nick was in other county for business deal, Sanj went to her country and just return back one hour before, Jen was not feeling well so she was staying in her home for past few days. No one knows about Ana's news.
I next called ben, my complete anger on others was erupted on him, for not taking care of ana in my absence. Actually, ben was busy with all business matters alone, he never thought about someone try to back stab ana .
I called technicians and trace her last call and her last location. The call ana get that night was a call from unknown number , India. Then I check her last call location was in India. I check the boarding list to India on ana left night.
After knowing her location, I called ben to arrange a private plane to India.
In the plane I try to connect her, her sudden visit to India makes me uneasy. For whom she flights back to India without informing others. There were no family to her only enemies who want to hurt her.
When I was wandering in my thoughts, I get a notification. I saw a notification from ana. without thinking I open the chat and saw a voice message.
I was tensed to hear what was in the voice message, she was in danger or what. I can remember how many problems she faced when they were in India.
