Alexander’s eyes followed Olivia and Benjamin as they parted ways. Olivia had already turned and walked away, but Benjamin’s gaze lingered, filled with open admiration.

That blatant, lovesick expression caused Alexander’s face to darken.

He had thought he was the male lead, expecting countless scenes with Olivia. Instead, he discovered that his screen time with her was even less than that of a minor background character.

Alexander had left an entire company behind, canceled over a hundred meetings, and reported to set daily–only to watch his wife act alongside young actors in various close encounters.

Now, to make things worse, he had to witness this young punk blatantly fawn over her.

Absolutely not! Alexander pulled,out his phone and called Vance.

“I want more scenes.”

Vance was bewildered. “Huh?”

What’s with Alexander and this sudden passion for acting?

“What kind of scenes?” Vance asked, confused.

Alexander’s tone was cold. “What do you think?”

Vance paused and immediately realized the answer. Alexander isn’t here for acting, he is here for Olivia.

“Romantic scenes, right?” Vance ventured.

Alexander remained silent, which was answer enough.

Vance sighed. “Alexander, we can’t just add those. This is a serious historical drama!”

Alexander didn’t budge. “I’ll invest.”

Vance tried again. “Olivia already refused our funding at the start. She’s not taking any money from us for this project.”

Alexander’s tone turned sharper. “I’ll offer exclusive screening rights for all Wilson family–owned cinemas with a high profit share for ‘Legacy of the Dynasty.”

Vance blinked, stunned. Well, when you’re the boss, every asset becomes tool to woo Olivia.

Vance relayed the proposal to Olivia as a business collaboration. While Olivia was uninterested in external investments, she wasn’t about to refuse a lucrative distribution deal. With little hesitation, she agreed.

“About Alexander’s role, it’s possible to add more scenes,” Olivia said while flipping through the script. “What kind of scenes are you thinking?”

Vance hesitated, bracing himself. “Could we, uh... add a bed scene?”
