running through my body,
a feeling, of despair
how could you do this to me
why did you break my heart
and why was it so hard to see
you've been doing it from the start
you may try to forget me
but you can't forget us
the fact that you're trying to be
different now, only makes it worse
you can't look at that street light
the way you did before
and the memories of us
only leaves you wanting more
a shiver,
going through my spine
is it anger or sadness?
it mostly is pain
a traitor, I never thought
the person who brought me the sun
would only leave a storm
and my heart feeling numb
memories aren't kind
and whenever I feel this pain
