"Be careful, baby." Leo shouted from behind me.
It was June 21st. And tomorrow on 22nd, was my birthday.
My feet carried me as fast as they could towards the lake house. We decided that we were going to spend the day here, all by ourselves. My family was going to host a dinner the next week, so today and tomorrow was just for me and Leo.
I unlocked the door and stepped in. Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes, we were finally here.
The place where everything started. Where our first kiss was.
I placed the bag on the floor and marched further in. Mrs. Alyssa has cleaned the house and brought us food.
Because it was summer, the house was filled with sun light. I heard Leo's shoes on the wooden floor behind me. He brought the suitcase inside and put them in the hallway.
"Which room are we going to take?" I spun around and faced Leo.
"Mine." I nodded and walked there, taking the suitcase from the hallway with me. The last time we were here I didn't step into his room.
It was bigger than the one I stayed in. It had a king sized bed with a dark wooden frame in the middle. The windows covered the whole opposite wall and there was a bathtub placed beside it.
The other walls were painted in dark blue, on the left side there was a door that lead to a walking closet and a bathroom.
"This one is so much nicer than the one I stayed in." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and tilted my head to look at him.
"It all yours now, baby. You can use whatever room you want." He caressed my arm up and down with the back of his fingers.
"We're definitely staying in this one." I pointed to the tub. "And we're definitely using that one tonight."
A smirk played on his lips. "I'm not saying no to that."
"I knew you'd say that. You can never say no to me Mr. Hyde and you know that." I stood on my tip toes and grazed my lips on his.
"No, I can't, Miss Managold." Before he could lean and kiss me, I smiled and pulled away.
He furrowed his eyebrows before grabbing my neck and smashing his lips on mine. The kiss was brutal and his tongue darted out, running over my bottom lip.
He fisted my hair, making me whimper in pleasure. He used that opportunity to push his tongue in my mouth. He tasted, sucked and kissed my lips.
His moan reached my ears, making me deepen the kiss.
Out of no where, his phone rang. Groaning, he pulled away. He wiped my swollen lips with his thumb, while he sank his teeth onto his bottom lip.
"Don't ever pull away from me. Yeah?" Humming I nodded, too dizzy to use my voice. Before taking his phone out of his pocket, he placed a kiss on my forehead and left the room.
Giggling to myself I jumped on the bed. I was living my dream.
Leo was on the phone for about ten minutes so I used that time to change my clothes and put on a summer dress. The heat was killing me.
The baby blue dress was mid tight and had short slightly puffy sleeves that were off shoulder. It was flowy and had small flowers all over it.
It was cute.
I put my hair half up half down and wore some white sandals. We were going to the lake so this was the best I could do.
Leo entered the room and stopped when he saw me. His eyes sparkled and his mouth was slightly parted.
"How do I look?" I did a three sixty and flipped my hair back.
He didn't move from his spot. His eyes were now on my boobs. I rolled my eyes while smiling. "Did you even saw the whole outfit?"
"Mhmm, you look... stunning." He starched the back of his neck. Clearing his throat, he came closer to me. "I can't even describe with words how beautiful you are, Zaria. Not a single word does a justice to your beauty."
"You're making me blush." I smacked his chest. Why was it so hard for me to receive a compliment? i always had to act stupid.
"I like it when you blush." Leo packed my lips and went to the closet to chance. He already had clothes here.
When he came back, he was dressed in shorts and white tight fitting t-shirt. His arm muscles were on display and my mouth watered.
Get yourself together Aimee.
"Let's go." He took my hand and lead me out. There was staircases that led down to the shore of the lake. They were located in the back yard of the house, the railings were wrapped in flowers and leaves.
The last time we were here, we didn't go to the lake. First because we didn't have time, second it was cold and lastly we were to lost in each other.
Leo held me by my waist, saying he was making sure I don't fall, but i knew he just wanted to keep his hands on me.
We arrived down the shore. Thankfully the weather was perfect for the walk, it was warm with a bit of a wind.
Leo took my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"You're mom texted me on what should I wear for the dinner." And yes. Leo finally met my parents under our circumstances. I've never seen him so nervous in all three years of working for him.
Long story short, they love him. They even have a better relationship with him than me. Mom always calls him first if she needs to talk to me. Him and dad bonded over boxing and now have nights out where they go and watch box matches.
My grandparents have meet him as well and I could easily say that my grandma has a crush on him.
They couldn't be happier for me.
"Just so you know, my aunts will be there. Be prepared for the most private questions. I'll try my best to keep them away from you though." They knew of him but they were yet to meet him in person.
"I'll have to deal with it." He shrugged his shoulders and we continued with walking.
Me meeting his parents was another story. His mom was not the happiest with Leo's choice of girlfriend, but she tried to hide it. His dad seemed nice and had told us that he's happy.
As for his siblings, I haven't meet them yet, but me and Leo were going to take a trip and visit them soon.
There was a wooden pier and we made our way to it.
I stood at the edge and observed the fished and how calm the water was.
"You know there was a man who was swimming in the lake and was attacked by flesh eating fishes." I turned my head to him. My jaw dropped.
"Are you kidding me?" He looked serious when he confirmed the story.
"You're joking, I don't believe you." I retreated form the spot and walked backwards.
"We can jump and you'll see." The corner of his lip turned upwards.
"Stop! Don't come close to me." I took few steps back. He ran to me and lifted me in his arms, bridal style. I screamed and a loud laugh broke through my chest.
"I'm just messing with you, baby." I squeezed his face in my hands. "You're cruel."
He spun me around and kissed me.
We walked down the little path decorated by rocks. The lake and the all around greenery, was pleasing and beautiful. It's evident why Leo loves this place so much.
After two hours of wandering around and him telling me stories about his childhood here, we got back to the house.
"Go and take a rest in the living room." Leo murmured agains my hair. My legs hurt from all the walking and my skin tingled from being on the sun for too long.
I didn't complain and went to the living room. Laying down on the sofa, I picked up my phone and scrolled through my messages. Evelin sent me a photo of Lexi biting Rowan's ears. She insisted on keeping Lexi while I'm away.
"Go and have some fun." Is what she said.
After twenty minutes, Leo appeared. He walked towards me and extended his hands for me to take. And I did.
He carried me to his room. The cherry and rose scent filled my nose, as soon as I entered through the door.
The bathtub was filled with water and bubbles. On the small table beside, were drinks and few sweets.
Leo took of the tie from my hair and let it fall down my back. He then started putting my hair in a messy bun. Kissing the back of my neck he whispered. "Take off your clothes and get in the tub, baby."
I happily obliged.

Light kisses being pressed all over my face, woke me up. "Happy birthday, my Zaria." Leo's voice got to my ear.
With closed eyes I smiled. He kissed my nose and then my mouth.
I pulled the sheets over my chest and turned around. My body ached and I was tired. I was to worn out to talk.
Leo kissed my bare back and whispered again. "Wake up, baby." He tickled my stomach. Giggling I slowly opened my eyes. And there he was, leaning over me.
"Thank you Leo." He packed my lips again and again.
"Happiest birthday to the most precious girl." I pushed myself up while holding the covers. I rested my head against the headboard and looked next to me. It was a tray filled with food.
He sat next to me. "Let me feed you, baby." He took the fork and picked some of the food.
Piece after piece he filled up my stomach with the most delicious breakfast I've ever had.
"I have planned a date for today. We'll leave before 8pm. Okay?" Chewing on my food I nodded. He took the tray and stood up.
"I'll wait for you outside on the terrace." He left and I got up to take a shower. The hot water relaxed my tense muscles and my acing body.
When I got out, I dried my body and wrapped my hair in a towel. I put on some shorts and a crop top and headed outside where Leo said he would wait.
The whole day was spent with us laying around lazily clinging to each other, while enjoying the day.
I was never the person to celebrate birthdays with big parties and a lot of people. So this was perfect for me.
I had the person I cared the most about next to me. What more could I ask for?
My heart was filled with joy and happiness. Every time I looked at him, my chest ached with love.
I never imagined that we would be here kissing, hugging, loving,...
The Mr. Hyde always felt out of reach for me. He was someone I just dreamed about, but the dreams didn't even come close to this.
He was better than all of my imaginations.
When the clock showed 6pm, I started getting ready. I straightened my hair and did a light makeup. The dress was in sage color and was flowy with puffy sheer sleeves. It was not too formal nor too casual.
Leo was dressed in a t-shirt and dress pants.
It was time to leave. We got into his car and the road started to seem familiar. It lead to the flower field he took me when we were first here.
We got out and Leo lead the way and my mouth opened in awe. There stood new built gazebo decorated with flowers and lights. The sun was setting and the colors illuminated our skin.
"This is amazing." He smiled and took my hand. We got to the gazebo and it had food on the table and a small cake with few candles on it. It said 'Happy Birthday, my Zaria'.
"Thank you Leo. I love it." Tears welled up in my eyes. He new exactly how to make me happy. With every word, with every action.
"You deserve it." We sat on the benches and enjoyed our time. We ate the food, I blew the candles and he wished me happy birthday.
I stood up to hug him. Pulling him to me, I said. "I love you. I love you. I love you."
"I'll never get tired of you saying that."
"And I'll never get tired of saying them to you." I had my arms around his neck and he his hands around my waist.
"Wait." He took out his phone and typed something on it. Shortly after a melody started to play. It was one of my favorite songs.

We swayed to the rhythm, not taking our eyes away from each other.
"Zaria... I don't think I'll ever be able to describe how much you mean to me. When you first walked into my office, I was captivated. I knew it was wrong for me to feel that way, and that's why I stayed away.
With each day you started building a place in my heart, day by day you settled inside of it. And you were not leaving. Seeing your face everyday made my life worth living.
You were the reason I woke up in the morning. I couldn't wait to go to work, because I knew you'd be there. I knew I'd see you, your black eyes, your pink lips, your cheeks that blush so easily, your soft hair, everything. The way you care about people always mesmerized me.

"I love you."
"I love you more." I said. "And I'll always care for you and love you Leo. You're the only person I want in my life. I'll never let you go. You're stuck with me." He chuckled.
"You're the only person I'd love to be stuck with for the rest of my life."
"I love you, Leo."
"I love you, Zaria." The music stopped but we stayed in each others arms.
"Give me a kiss." I pouted.
"Anything for you." He leaned and brought his lips to mine in a gentle kiss.
