"Welcome home, young master."
As I stepped out of the carriage drawn by magic stone golems, nearly all the maids employed at the mansion, led by the head butler, came out to greet us. Following the head butler's courteous nod, the maids bowed in unison.
"Yeah, itâs good to be home. Nothing unusual happened, right?"
"The master and mistress apologize for not being able to meet you today and asked me to convey their regrets."
"Tell them I completely understand, given the circumstances. Iâll be staying here for about a week, so Iâm sure theyâll be back before I leave."
After a desperate explanation, Leona finally succeeded in convincing the four possessors, although she looked utterly exhausted. She then extended a slightly altered invitation, asking me to visit her village, even though there wasnât much to see.
After some discussion, we decided to return home first, meet our parents, and then visit Leona and Aria's hometown. Priscillaâs place would be the next stop.
It seemed everyone was prepared to gather together again, regardless of the order of visits.
"Yes. They promised to return as soon as possible, so you should be able to meet them within three days at the latest."
The elderly butler, once again welcoming me back, mentioned that a banquet was being prepared and that I could command anything I desired. He then left.
The maids, who had tried to take my luggage but were promptly refused, followed him like clockwork.
"Itâs only right that I carry the young masterâs belongings. What were they thinking, trying to take it from me?"
"Thatâs right. The masterâs belongings are always our responsibility."
Beatrice, who had boldly declared this while watching their retreating figures, turned to me.@@novelbin@@
"Shall I take you to your room, young master?"
