“He doesn’t know how influential Zavier is,” another added. “He’ll be crying when Zavier shows up.”

“Your boyfriend seems reckless. He dares to act.”

“Enough,” Marianna interjected, “He’s my boyfriend. If any of you dare to mock him again, you’ll be crossing me. Don’t blame me for turning against you.”

Marianna’s face was dark as she spoke.

Everyone in the room instantly shut their mouths.

Just then, the bathroom door opened, and Leonard walked out. “Why did everyone stop talking? It was lively just now,” he said with a smile.

He then sat naturally next to Marianna, putting his arm around her waist.

Marianna stiffened for a moment before leaning against Leonard’s chest.

A few men in the room watched, envy flashing in their eyes.

They all desired someone as beautiful as Marianna.

But the Rodgers family was too high above them. Even with their wealth, they weren’t worthy.

They thought only an heir to a big family like Zavier could date Marianna.
