Gorilla nodded and asked, “Also, I heard the Talent Swallowing Hero made his appearance during the invasion earlier. Is it true?”

The city leader frowned when he heard the burly man mention the ‘Talent Swallowing Hero’; however, he still nodded.

“Haha…looks like he had improved so much in the past one year that he didn’t even leave a single trace of the humans…interesting. I hope my trip to Phire City will not be as boring as I thought it will.”

When he got confirmation from the city leader, the burly young man started laughing, confusing the city leader.

However, when he heard Gorilla’s words, he could connect the dots.-.

The city leader asked the burly young man.

“I am 99 percent sure that it was done by the ‘Talent Swallowing Hero’.”

‘Even if there were more than five supreme-ranked water spiders like the Purple-striped Water Spider, I could easily escape.’

Leo clenched his fists and was no longer scared to start the massacre in the Abandoned Sea.

“Little one, go and rest in the Beast Storage Device.”

Even though he could teleport along with the cub, Leo no longer planned to escape; instead, he wanted to massacre the water spiders and, if possible, take revenge on the Purple-striped Water Spider for putting him in a cage.

Entering the secret dimensional space along with the lion cub was not possible. Therefore, he decided to store the cub in the beast storage device.

‘Let’s kill as many water spiders as possible before the Purple-striped Water Spider comes out of its den.’

Sharp claws of fire materialized on Leo’s hands as he looked at more than a dozen water spiders in the distance discussing something.

With a thought, Leo disappeared from his place, leaving a round mark on the ground before appearing in the middle of the dozen water spiders.

Leo didn’t give any time for those water spiders to alert the others as he killed them at an incredible speed.

Leo nodded, looking at the information on his two new skills. Even though they were not powerful skills and, at the same time, they could not be stacked with other skills’ effects, Leo was not depressed much with them.

‘Having an extra skill is not a bad thing. As for whether I use them or not, it is secondary.’

Leo silently muttered to himself and continued thinking, ‘Every skill has its own time and place to shine just like [Poison resistance], which would be my trump card against the Purple-striped water spider.’

Even though Leo preferred to awaken the talents compared to the skill, he didn’t mind awakening two skills back to back.
