‘Smash’

“What did you say? Your sqad members along with the vice leader disappeared yesterday?”

Zen smashed a table as he angrily shouted at a middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man was the leader of the ‘Hidden assassins’ mercenary squad, Clemens.

Yesterday night, his squad’s vice leader and 11 other squad members went on a mission to assassinate a rank 4 healing type hero.

However, they never returned, and there was no news from them.

“It was like they disappeared into thin air.”

Clemens was also furious because he could tell that something had happened to his squad members.

“What are you going to do now? Will you return the money you took or are you going to kill her?”

Zen didn’t even bother about the Vice leader and the other squad members belonging to the ‘Hidden assasins’ mercenary squad.

Instead, he asked Clemens whether he would continue the mission or give up.

“Young master, I will personally take care of this mission.”

Clemens bowed to Zen and quietly left the manor without leaving behind any traces.-.

‘Did that lowly bastard have other talents?’

After Clemens left, Zen thought about Leo and wondered if he had a second talent other than ‘Teleportation’.

‘No…it is definitely not possible for a rank 5 hero to make a rank 6, eight rank 5 and three rank 4 heroes disappear into thin air.’

Amy could guess what Julia was trying to do and freed herself from Julia’s grip.

Julia replied without thinking much as she had already planned to use this reason beforehand.

When she heard Leo’s voice, Julia was happy and introduced Amy to him, “Brother Leo, she is the sister I mentioned yesterday, Amy. Amy Icefeather.”

Leo introduced himself as he added a few good words.

While saying that, she took out a gold card from her storage ring and gave it to Leo.

Amy explained the benefits of that gold card to Leo, making Leo raise his brows.

“Compared to Sister Julia, it is nothing.”

With a slight smile on her face, Amy shook her head and asked Leo to take the card.

“Okay. I will not stand on ceremony then.”

Leo pocketed the gold card before asking, “I heard the Icefeather family owns an auction house. I wonder whether I can get the invitations for the day after tomorrow’s auction.”

Yesterday night, as Vladimir was taking care of the members of the ‘Hidden assassins’, he met with Dominic and others, who shared the information they had collected about the Phire city so far.

According to that information, the Icefeather family would be hosting a premium auction in three days. Leo wanted to enter the auction as all the bigshots of the Phirie city would be gathered there.

Julia was surprised as she didn’t know about the premium auction.

Leo could tell Amy got suspicious about him. So, he asked her to forget it.

Nevertheless, Amy shook her head because even if Leo entered the auction house, there was nothing he could do other than watch the powerful heroes.

“Can you get me two passes? I want to take Julia with me.”

If he went there alone, it would make him the center of attention; however, it would not attract much attention if Julia was with him.

Because everyone knew that Amy and Julia were close, they would not be surprised to see Julia in a premium auction that Amy’s family held.

Amy was surprised at Leo’s request once again; however, she understood what Leo was thinking. So, she hesitated a little before nodding her head.

“Great.”

Julia was excited as it would be her first time going to a premium auction.

“I have some things to take care of. I will give you the invitations by tomorrow night.”

Suddenly, Amy’s phone rang, and seeing the caller id, and she hurriedly rushed into the distance.

As for Leo and Julia, they looked at each other and then looked at the running Amy.
