If someone had told Divyansh before that He would be willing to bow infront of someone, he might think of them being retarded because this state of his was unforseenable.

He genuinely feel strong pull towards this girl standing right in front of him. She might be some ordinary girl for others but for him she is the one who evoke eerie feelings yet a sweet craving also present there.

" Maar li Aashiqui??"

( Done with your flirty?)

The moment was intruppted by none other than Ekaksh who was leaning against the concrete wall of the terrace in the dim light. He was looking at them with nonchalant expression.

Innayat separated from Divyansh embarrassed after being catch by Ekaksh and his remarks were cherry on top.

"Kyu? Teri jaal rahi hai  kaya?" Divyansh exclaimed with mocking smile.

( " Why? Are you burning from inside?")

"Shup up. Mom told me to check the moon but I did not expected to find you here. Anyways I decided not to disturb you but you guys were not finishing your romance, so I had to make my presence obvious" Ekaksh elucidated with a Scoff.

" If you done with your Romance I've to inform others also. Now if you still wish to continue, our Mom is not soap opera mother-in-law who will transform her bahu into fly for pulling romance with her son " Ekaksh asserted and started leisurely stepping towards downstairs

" We should go down " Innayat said after getting out of embarrassing moment

" But your meal- " Divyansh was cut off by Innayat.

" I am carrying it downstairs, I can eat it there " Innayat interjected

She took the hold of plate prepared by Divyansh and was about to leave but Divyansh grasped her head again, he hastily planting a smouch on her cheeks before she could process anything.

After doing this he snatched the meal plate along with Pooja thal from her hand. He took strides to dowstairs,  she also followed him after coming out of the daze. He was walking ahead her with tiny smile.

Ekaksh was still standing on the steps, waiting for the pair to exit first.

When They eventually descended living room stairs, Ekaksh followed after a while.

" Mom Moon is out now you can proceed the last ritual " Ekaksh informed Rahima

" Thank you my baby. Everyone, Moon is out; please proceed with your thal, and food has already been prepared on tables," Rahima stated, prompting everyone to move to the rooftop.

Divyansh stood near the piller along with plate having food, waiting for Innayat to stroll over him but She was stopped by her Mother who was going rooftop.

" Innu where are you going? The moon is up " Jannki enquired grabbing her hand

" Umm.. Mumma woh I had already done my Pooja and broke the fast with Ansh " Innayat retorted

Jaanki blinked in astonishment, realizing her daughter had broken her fast alone, and turned her gaze to Divyansh, who was shamelessly beckoning for Innayat to come near him.

Jannki simply muttered Okay with a raised eyebrow and walked away with everyone.

Innayat walked towards piller where Divyansh was standing.

" Ansh we should've waited for- " Her words trailed off when Divyansh shoved spoonful of kheer in her mouth.

It's sweetness exploded in her mouth. She devoured it and likes the taste " It's tasty "

He formed the Morsel of Chole and Puri, forwarding to her. She indulge the morsel and state " I can eat by myself. You don,t need to feed me. "

He was reluctant to give away the plate because he was enjoying feeding her with his hands but nevertheless had to gave away having no option.

"Okay I am keeping the plate in my hands you eat " Divyansh asserted

She began feeding herself but then looked at him wondering if he had dinner since he didn,t moved from her side all evening.

" Did you had your food?" She asked

He shook his head, indicating that he had not eaten anything.

She made a morsel extended towards his mouth " Here you also eat from my plate. It,s enough for both of us and We can have more later."

Divyansh glanced at Morsel and once at her then he ate the piece making sure to brush his lips against her fingers. She retreated her hands back, taking spoonful of kheer but her red ears were evident.

He smirked and requested her for one more bite.

She forward spoon of moong dal with rice this time and Divyansh raised his one brow in questioning manner.

" My fingers are getting dirty like this, therefore let's just use spoon " Innayat asserted

"Why not feed me the rest of puri? then use spoon " Divyansh retorted

" Then eat food instead of my fingers. Duffer!! " She hissed under her breath.

Divyansh had a teasing smile after hearing her frim antics. He never thought being called Duffer would've been so sweet..He has definitely lost his mind.

" Okay my merciless Sugar just feed me this last puri " Divyansh requested with playfulness

She nodded and  feeded him puri, this time he didn't teased her. After they were done eating, Divyansh held a glass of water near her mouth.

Innayat attempted to hold the glass, but he kept it in his hand, offering to drink from his hand. She just glanced at him once before drinking the water.

Innayat released a sigh of satisfaction, eating and drinking after a long day.

Divyansh just stared at her without saying anything then moved the glass drinking the remaining water. He didn't broke the eye contact, maintaining it and sipping water from the same side as she did.

(My Bro is trying way tooo hard to rizz )

Innayat narrowed her eyes being perplexed but he just smiled and shook his head. Divyansh proceeded upstairs to his assigned room without saying anything.

" Huh?? Sometimes he behave really strange" Innayat mummered to herself and took the bowl of ladoo, made of besan, from table to eat.

She went to her parents while eating,  who had just  returned from Pooja.

" Ahh being single sucks " Ekaksh exclaimed from the corner of room where he was watching the small romance of Innayat and Divyansh all this while.

" But for now Let's focus on finding panner in Matar panner. Saala panner ki jagha sirf pani dala hai " Ekaksh huffed in frustration while trying to find panner with spoon.

NEXT DAY

The whole lawn was decorated with yellow colour as it is the theme of haldi. The pillers were encircled with fluffy marigold Garlands that begin at the top and continue to the finish. Yellow and red curtains tied from their center with thread were attached to tent.

Under the shadow of mangrove tree , a Yellow mattress were placed on grass with two big soft cushions  above. The wooden plank were aligned in pairs making five  triangle pieces as a background which is adored with yellow roses .

Even some marigold and yellow roses Garlands were hanged on the branch of mangrove.

"Mom Should I call Innayat?" Divyansh asked his mother.

Rahima diverted her eyes from the haldi bowl and looked at her son. Divyansh was wearing yellow pathani kurta with white dhoti.

He did not used any gel to set hairs because he had to take shower again after haldi rasam. But his messy hair was giving innocent boyish look.

"Unlike you, Girls have to wear ornaments and sarees so be a little patient " Rahima stated crossing her arms.

But how long, he wanted to ask but didn't want to show his desperation. He woke up early this morning but only in vain as he wasn't able to see Innayat because she was busy in prepartion of haldi look and now he was waiting nearly four hours to see Innayat.

" Oh she came " Rahima exclaimed going to towards Innayat leaving haldi bowl on stool.

Innayat was wearing artificial flower mangtika, wristlet, ring on her left hand, ears adored with small earrings. She is in half-saree, the pulla and blouse is in yellow colour and Woven long skirt in gradient of white and yellow. The skirt hung above her anklet.

Divyansh took the hold of her hand, tugging a lose strand behind her ears with other hand.

" You are looking extremely gorgeous " He breathe out dramingly exploring her khol- lined eyes.

" Thank you Ansh...you are also looking handsome " Innayat complimented being extremely shyly under soo many eyes.

" Okay, let us begin the ritual. Divyansh remove your kurta" Rahima told Divyansh

" But Why ?" Divyansh said clicking his tongue

" We've to apply haldi properly on your body so remove it " Rahima stated

Divyansh gave a stare to Innayat momentarily then started removing his kurta revealing his tone muscular body. Innayat quickly averted her gaze to Rahima who rolled her eyes already knowing what he just did. Divyansh handed his kurta to Rahima.

" Aya bada flirt karne wala. Gadha kahi ka" Rahima mumbled which was inaudible for anyone to hear and Divyansh is already deaf when Innayat is near him.

(wanna be stud? Such a Dockey!!)

They took their respective reats under the mangrove tree where arrangement was done. One by one everyone started applying haldi on groom and bride.

Divyansh was getting irritated from inside, having haldi paste all over his body since he was shirtless.

When almost everyone was done they let the Innayat move inside to get freshen up. However, Divyansh was compelled to sit there as his mother applied haldi.

Innayat was heading to the kitchen to get water since she was already dehydrated sitting for such long time at one place.

But as she approached near the back entrance,  she overheared someone talking and her name was also mentioned in their conversation.

" I don't what Rahiam saw in this Innayat girl? She neither has looks nor belongs to any high-class family " Mrs Prathna said

" Let alone the family background. Just look at her body, I can not even call it body she is even thinner than stick " Mrs Vanshika retorted.

" I don't know why Rahima is so excited to marry her son with her, they are no match.Like seriously first that girl has to put some weight atleast, so she can look like a lady " Mrs Prathna shakes her head disappointingly

" I saw how her ribcage was visible while sitting. There were only bones I wonder if she is malnourished. She even look like dwarf in front of Divyansh hahahahaha " Mrs Vanshika laughed

" For real Vanshika leave looking like 22 yr old , She doesn't even look like a proper women. Her chest is flat  maybe she wore pads to fit in blouse " Mrs Prathna suggested

" Ahhhh Given her body structure, they will have troubles to have heir in future since accommodating a child is difficult for such girls. Well if she gains some weight then it will be fine " Mrs Vanshika commented

" Leave it . Why does it matter who Rahima marries her son? Let's just attend their wedding " Mrs Prathna concluded. They nodded and left the juice glass on kitchen slab, started leaving from front entrance.

INNAYAT,S POV

Tears were flowing from my eyes and a sob which was trapped finally left from my mouth. I put the palm on my mouth suppress my cries, I ran back while whipping my tears.

Finally I reached near the stairs leading to rooftop but my dismay, there was a huge lock on door.

Fresh tears sprang from my eyes. I was a mess, and getting exhausted.  I slumped on the stairs because there was no one around then burst into tears.

Why do people body shame me when I never commented, even on someone's face.

Why do I always get skinny shame When I always appreciate the girls who weigh more than me. I never calls anyone ugly, so why am I being called one.

Should I gain weight? But I tried every possible way. Is it my fault that I am not able to gain weight? Why am I not beautiful like other girls? God why are you so unfair? Why you didn't gave me perfect body? They also said I am not proper woman What if Ansh had similar thoughts? What if he also wanted a woman with perfect figure who is also tall.

Should I go on supplements? but doctor advised me not to consume them, because they are harmful way of gaining weight.

" Then what should I do?" I cried not able to think rationally.

" Even If I've soo many imperfections, why would people want to mock me again and again. I am tired of hearing my flaws which I already know, but then what can I do, if God made me like this?? If God chooses not to make beautiful like other girls. Where is my fault??Is it wrong of me to desire happiness even after being ugly?!! " my throat clogged with agony.

Pity memories began flooding back to me making me feel pathetic. How everyone used to call me skeleton, ghost, ugly or other names because I was skinny, it made my confidence low, believing their words true.

Because if more than one person says anything then it is considered true to the point your mind also begans to comply it, even after you are told it's a lie.

The time when I used to look at girls with admiration who get chance to be on stage as princess role in school function.

When I used to see Shivangi winning beauty pageant, it made me acknowledge the difference between us and how I can never be fit into a word " beauty " because I've no attributes to claim myself as beautiful.

DIVYANSH,S POV

" Excuse me have you seen Innayat?? " I asked the lady who was going outside but she Shakes her head indicating that she didn't saw her.

I took a deep breath looked around, I am still roaming topless with lots of haldi paste smeared on my body.

My mom had planned to cover my entire face in haldi but I directly said No. I will only let them touch my cheeks; otherwise, they will not be allowed to touch my face.

They merely applied haldi on my cheeks with mango leaves. Now here I am inside the Living room, trying to find my Fianće who left to drink water and after that we've to get freshen up but I am not finding her anywhere.

I already searched kitchen but there was no one except one maid taking sweets out whom I questioned if she saw Innayat but she also said Innayat didn't entered kitchen when she came here to fetch sweets.

I sighed as I took a glance at my appearance. What if she is in her room, changing?. Maybe I should check once.

So climbing the stairs I reached outside her room only to see if locked from outside. If she is not in her room then where she could be.

Before I could turn, I heard a faint sniff making me look towards the direction of the stairs leading to terrace.

I took steps towards the stairs making the sniffing more audible.

I climbed the steps quickly and as I reached the end, I got shocked to see curled up Innayat on the floor near locked terrace door.

What is she doing here?... wait she is crying?!!!

" Sugar?! " I called her making her stiff at her place and slowly looked up.

What I saw, for the first time cause my heart to tremble, an ache raised in my heart to be more specific.

I saw almond eyes, which loves to adore with kisses, reddened instead of glinting with mischief and innocence which they usually do. The lips which always morphed into pout or smile is quivering. The chubby  cheeks which looks tempting with red hue is now drenched with tear stains with more tears flowing.

The sight is dreadful to my heart making me go all panic from inside.

TO BE CONTINUED

● TMI : Not exactly tmi but my childhood memory which is hilarious to the point I laugh at it even after not being fan of my childhood stories. so I want you guys to hear it.

So once I was alone with my grandmother in home as my mother went outside for some work. I was small kid maybe 7 or 8yr I guess, I remember my mother had made dal for meal and instructed me to put the slightly warm dal utensil in water for it to get cold ( Now I don't remember why they didn't used refrigerator ). My grandmother didn't knew about what  my mother told me.

So what my mother told me before leaving or Maybe she phoned but anyways what she said was " Dal ko pani main daal dena ".

Okay so what I did ( being confused about what I,ve to do but shrugged it off) I took water and put it inside the dal utensil " Dal ko pani main daal diya ".

My grandmother saved the dal before entire dal would be left watery, It could spoil our meal. I didn't got what I did wrong until today when I reminisced it.
