Sidharth was shocked when Kavya suddenly hugged him. He was not ready for it. His eyes became teary. He remembered the moment when she cheated on him. Cancelled their marriage. Told him that she didn't love him. His expression changed slowly.
He pushed her away and looked at her with despise.
"Stay away from me." He said angrily.
Kavya could understand the reason behind his anger. Still she smiled and asked, "How are you Sid?"
Sidharth was controlling his emotions with much difficulty. He closed his eyes and then said, "None of your business."
Saying that, he started leaving from there.
"Sid wait. Listen to me please." Said Kavya while going after him.
"Sid I....."
Kavya suddenly stopped when Sidharth stopped walking seeing someone who was none other than Shehnaaz. She was standing there with Shaurya.
"Tum dono ki shopping ho gayi?" Asked Sidharth ignoring Kavya.
"Yeah we are done." Replied Shehnaaz.
"Then I guess we should leave." Said Sidharth and was about to go towards them when Kavya stopped him holding his hand.
"Please don't leave like this. We met after a long time. We met after such a long time. There is a lot of things I need to tell you. Let's go somewhere else." She requested.
Shehnaaz looked at Kavya who was holding Sidharth's hand. It didn't go well with her.
"Excuse me." She said to which Kavya also looked at her. "Aap kaun?"
"I'm Kavya." She replied making Shehnaaz shocked. She didn't know what to say and just looked at Sidharth. She could understand what his mental state could be in this situation.
"Sid please." Said Kavya again.
Shaurya looked at his mother who was not doing or saying anything. He nodded his head in disbelief and went to Sidharth and Kavya.
"Papa let's go. We are getting late. Humein amusement park bhi toh jaana hai." Said Shaurya making both Sidharth and Shehnaaz confused.
After hearing 'Papa' from Shaurya's mouth, Kavya looked at Sidharth with disbelief.
"Are you married?" She asked.
Before Sidharth could reply, Shaurya seperated their hands. Then he took him to his mother and kept his hand on hers.
Sidharth and Shehnaaz looked at each other and then looked at Shaurya while Kavya's heart broke seeing the scene.
"Chale Mumma Papa?" Asked Shaurya.
Both Sidharth and Shehnaaz smiled and nodded in yes. Then three of them left from there.
After sometime...
Sidharth was driving his car to home while Shaurya was continuously insisting them to go to the restaurant.
"Mumma mujhe amusement park nahi jaana. But at least restaurant ka plan toh cancel mat karo." Said Shaurya.
"No Shaurya. Humein abhi ghar jaana hai. Restaurant phir kabhi chalenge." Said Shehnaaz to which Shaurya made a sad pout. He wanted Sidharth to propose to Shehnaaz but it didn't happen.
"I know. Yeh sab uss chudhail Aunty ki wajah se hua hai. Waise Buddy woh hai kaun?"
"Woh...umm...."
Sidharth couldn't answer Shaurya.
Shehnaaz noticed it and said little sarcastically, "Tere Buddy ki girlfriend."
"Par Mumma, Buddy ki girlfriend toh aap ho." Said Shaurya.
"Yeh mujhse pehle ki hai. Isliye toh aaj usse dekhte hi itne emotional ho gaye the tere Buddy." Said Shehnaaz to which Sidharth glared her.
"Ohho! Matlab ex-girlfriend? Sach mein Buddy, aap ki choice toh bohut hi kharab thi." Said Shaurya.
Hearing that, Shehnaaz started laughing silently.
"What's so funny?" Asked Sidharth getting irritated.
Shehnaaz couldn't control herself anymore and started laughing loudly and Shaurya also laughed.
"Arrey has kyu rahe ho pagalon ki tarah?"
"Shaurya is right. Tumhari choice really bohut kharab thi." Said Shehnaaz while laughing.
"Dekho main....." Sidharth couldn't say further as he failed to maintain his poker face.
He also laughed along with them.
At home...
Shehnaaz kept the shopping bags on the sofa and was going towards her room when Sidharth stopped her.
"Shehnaaz I'm sorry." He said to which Shehnaaz made a confused face.
"Kis liye?" She asked.
"Woh main Kavya ko itne saalon baad dekh ke emotional ho gaya tha. Maano jaise mere past ki saari memories ek dam se mere saamne aa gayi ho. At that moment I was totally lost. Jab ki aisa nahi hona chahiye tha. So I'm sorry for that."
Sidharth was looking down feeling guilty and Shehnaaz chuckled seeing it.
"Do you still love Kavya?" She asked suddenly.
Sidharth frowned hearing that and said, "What? No!.... Yeh kaisa sawal hai Shehnaaz?.... You know I love you."
"Toh phir sorry kyu bol rahe ho?" She asked. "Sidharth main car mein mazak aa rahi thi. I understand your feelings. Woh tumhari ex hai. Agar usse dekh kar tumhe purani baatein yaad aa gayi, tum thoda emotional ho gaye, so what? Aisa toh nahi hai ki tum abhi mujhe chhor ke uske paas chale jaaoge. Nahi hai na?"
Sidharth nodded in no.
Shehnaaz thought something and said sadly, "Aur agar kabhi tumhe jaana ho toh bas ek baar mujhe keh dena. I'll happily let you go."
"Shehnaaz what are you....."
"Let me finish Sidharth. Dekho hum dono iss relationship mein isliye hai kyu ki hum khush rehte hai ek dusre ke saath. Agar kisi din tumhe aisa lage ki tumhari khushi mujh mein nahi, kisi aur mein hai toh tum jaa sakte ho. Main nahi chahungi ki tum apne marzi ke khilaf mere saath raho."
Sidharth hold her hands and said, "Meri khushi sirf tum mein hai Shehnaaz. I don't love Kavya anymore. And I won't be able love anyone else as well. 12 saal pehle bhi main uss raat tumhare saath khush tha, aaj bhi hoon aur 12 saal baad bhi rahunga."
Shehnaaz smiled hearing that and asked, "Itna pyaar karte ho mujhse?"
"Nahi toh. Ms. Chikchik se karta hoon."
Shehnaaz tried to make an angry face but failed and they both laughed together.
After sometime, they stopped laughing and looked at each other with full of love.
"Ab toh hug kar lo. Aur kab tak dekhte rahoge ek dusre ke boring faces?"
Hearing that, Sidharth and Shehnaaz looked at Shaurya.
"Come on guys. Hug each other." He said again.
Sidharth and Shehnaaz chuckled and then finally hugged each other.
"Main bhi aa raha hoon."
Saying that, Shaurya went and hugged them both.
Days passed quickly. Shaurya was living happily with SidNaaz. But everything was not same in their life as both of their pasts came back to them. After that incident, Kavya was calling Sidharth frequently as she got to know that he was not married. She wanted to meet him and talk to him about something. On the other hand, Shehnaaz was getting Param's call. He came back from his buisness trip and it was now time for Shaurya to return to him. But he didn't send any driver to bring him. He asked Shehnaaz to bring Shaurya to him as he really wanted to meet her.
After a lot of thinking, they decided that they would go to meet their exes and face their pasts.
It was the day when Sidharth would meet Kavya and Shehnaaz would take Shaurya to Param.
"Buddy mujhe kuch din aur aap ke aur Mumma ke saath rehna hai. I don't want to go." Said Shaurya with teary eyes.
Sidharth bent to him and said, "Hey! Don't cry Buddy. Hum phir milenge na?"
"Kab?"
"Bohut zald. Lekin tab tak bilkool good boy ban ke rehna. Roz vegetable khana, juice peena. Ghar jaate hi apna homework finish kar lena. Aur school start hone ke baad Emily ko girlfriend bana lena."
Shaurya smiled and nodded in yes.
Then Shaurya hugged Sidharth and said, "I love you Buddy."
Sidharth smiled and said caressing his head, "Love you too."
"Shaurya we have to go." Said Shehnaaz coming there and Shaurya went to her.
"Shehnaaz are you sure?" Asked Sidharth. "I don't think I should meet Kavya, neither I want to."
Shehnaaz sighed and said, "I also don't want to meet Param. But Sidharth, kab tak hum apne pasts se chhupenge? Let's face them and end everything."
"Ok." Said Sidharth.
Shehnaaz then started leaving with Shaurya. Sidharth didn't know why but he was feeling that it was a bad idea. Though he had full trust on them, on their love, he still felt that something bad would happen.
"Shehnaaz!" He called suddenly and she turned back. "I love you."
Shehnaaz smiled hearing that and gave him a flying kiss. Sidharth acted like catching it.
Then she left from there with her son while he kept looking at their retreating figure.
Later That Day...
Sidharth went to the cafe where Kavya had called him. As soon as he entered, Kavya waved her hand and he went to her.
He sat in front of her and said, "Seedhe seedhe baatao baat kya hai."
Kavya smiled and said, "Pehle tum toh baatao ki tum kaise ho. Kafi badal gaye ho lagta hai. Pehle toh kitni baatein kiya karte the aur ab...."
Kavya didn't say further.
"Baatein mein abhi bhi karta hoon. Lekin har kisi ke saath nahi." Said Sidharth. "What about you? Kaisi ho tum? Aur tumhara husband kaisa hai?"
"Hum dono saath nahi hai." Said Kavya sadly making Sidharth shocked.
"Kya matlab?"
Kavya smiled sadly and said, "He cheated on me Sidharth. Shaadi ke do saal baad paata chala woh kisi aur se pyaar karta hai. Phir hum dono alag ho gaye."
Sidharth paused for a while and said, "I'm sorry to hear that."
"Don't be." Said Kavya. "Iss mein kuch galat nahi hai. Jo maine tumhare saath kiya, woh mujhe wapas mila hai. Kaash uss waqt maine tumhare saath galat nahi kiya hota toh aaj dono saath hote. I'm sorry Sidharth."
Teardrops fell from Kavya's eyes.
"It's ok Kavya. Let's forget the past and move on." Said Sidharth.
"But I can't." Said Kavya. "Paata hai inn kuch saalon mein maine tumhe bohut dhund ne ki koshish kiyi. Tumhari family and friends se bhi pucha tum kaha rehte ho but they didn't tell me. Main tumhe bohut miss karti thi Sidharth. You can't imagine uss din tumhe mall pe dekh ke main kitni khush hui thi. Aisa laga jaise mujhe apna khoya hua pyaar wapas mil gaya. Aur mujhe yakeen hai ki tum aaj bhi mujhse utna hi pyaar karte ho. Kya hum phir se ek nahi ho sakte?"
"Nahi Kavya." Said Sidharth calmly making Kavya confused.
"Yeh sach hai ki tumhare chale jaane ke baad bhi main bohut saalon tak tumhe bhul nahi paaya. Tumse pyaar karta raha, yeh sochta raha ki tum ekdin mere paas wapas zaroor aaogi. Par ab aisa nahi hai. Kyu ki ab meri zindagi mein koi aur hai."
"Kyu jhut bol rahe ho Sid? I know you are not married. Na woh aurat tumhari biwi hai aur na hi woh baccha tumhara hai."
Sidharth sighed and said, "Yeah we are not married. But she is my girlfriend. Hum almost 6 mahine se saath hai. 1 saal se main usse jaanta hoon. Aur jab se woh aayi hai meri zindagi mein sab kuch badal gaya hai. Mujhe ab tumhari yaad nahi aati. Na tumhe dekhne ke liye meri aankhein tarasti hai aur naa hi tumse baat karne ke liye main bechain hota hoon. Ab mera dil sirf ek hi insaan ke liye dhadakta hai, aur woh hai meri Shehnaaz."
Kavya could not believe her ears. She expected that Sidharth would still love her and he must be waiting for her.
"But Sidharth I love you." She said trying to make him believe.
"No you don't Kavya. Hum jis se pyaar karte hai, unhe kabhi cheat nahi kar sakte. Pichli baar tumhe samajhne mein mujhse galti hui thi. Shaadi ke excitement mein itna kho gaya tha ki samajh hi nahi paaya tumhare dil mein kya chal raha hai. Lekin iss baar mujhse koi galti nahi ho rahi. I know that I'm just an option for you. Aaj maine naa keh diya, kal tum kisi aur ko dhund logi. Main nahi toh koi aur sahi. Par Shehnaaz aur mera pyaar aisa nahi hai. Mere liye woh nahi toh koi aur bhi nahi."
Saying that, he stood up as well as Kavya.
"Ek baar soch lo please. I'm changed now, trust me." She said trying for the last time.
Sidharth smiled slightly and said, "Maine soch liya hai. Last time meri taraf se end nahi hua tha. But today I'm ending this right here. Best of luck for your future...... Chalta hoon."
Then Sidharth left from there while Kavya started crying and regretting everything she did in the past.
Soon Sidharth returned their apartment.
He entered and saw Shehnaaz sitting on the sofa sadly. She stood up seeing him.
Sidharth gave a huge smile and ran to him. He hugged her tightly.
"Shehnaaz I did it. I ended everything today. Kavya wanted us back together but I rejected. Because I'm clear about what I want. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to grow older with you. I want to stay with you at every ups and downs of our life. I want to smile with you, I want to cry with you. You are my whole world Shehnaaz. I want to ma......."
Sidharth suddenly stopped when he realised that she was crying. He broke the hug and looked at her being worried.
He cupped her face and asked, "What happened Baby? Why are you crying?"
"Param wants me back in his life." She said making Sidharth shocked.
He took some time to digest her words and then asked gathering courage, "And what do you want? Do you want to go back to him?"
"Of course not Sidharth. It's you whom I love. I want to stay with you. But......"
Before she could finish, Sidharth said, "But you want to stay with Shaurya too, right?"
Shehnaaz nodded in yes while crying.
Sidharth understood that she was a mother also. After many years she got an opportunity to stay with her son. That was why she was not being able to decide what she should do. He knew that she was in dilemma and he would take her out of this.
"I think.... Tumhe Param ke paas wapas jaana chahiye." Said Sidharth to which Shehnaaz looked at him with disbelief.
