Jignesh entered the room as Neelesh was coming in an ambulance. He was removing his shoes before entering the living room and as he was waiting for an opportunity to enter the room without disturbing the conversation of all the elders, he had heard almost the entire conversation and felt deeply emotional when he found out that he was not all alone in this world as he had a twin sister called Jigyasa.He said to Jigyasa,"Sister, you and I are in the same boat, right now! I am happy for you that you have a loving family and Sumit uncle and Krishika Aunty as your parents but in my case I have seen my mother's struggles as she brought me up singlehandedly! She used to work hard and never missed my PTM or Annual Function at school. She inspired me to become a Doctor as she herself wanted to be one! She had seen the lack of medical facilities in the rural areas and she wanted me to return to her village as a successful Doctor who treated all the patients with lots of love and care.I know that you are a successful lawyer who fights for the cause of poor and downtrodden people of the society. If our mother didn't fight with the whole world which made fun of her being a single mother and when her own ex-husband pointed finger at her, then both of us could not survive even for a single moment the vicissitudes of life!My dear sister, I know it's late but it is better late than never, I have always carried these sacred threads in my wallet in the hope that one day my sister will tie these threads on my wrist and will accept me as her brother!This world has separated us but let this sacred thread bind us in the sacred bond of brother and sister forever!"Jigyasa started crying while tying the thread on her brothers wrist as she hugged him, crying,"Bhaiya, my dear brother....I missed you...  On every Rakshabandhan, I wished for a brother who could understand me when my parents couldn't understand me, I prayed for a brother as I saw brothers who took care of their sisters with love. Brother, please don't feel bad if you don't have a father as you can call my father as yours after all we are siblings and we share everything in this world!"Sumit hugged Jignesh as Jignesh felt happy that his sister is really sweet and innocent like a little child.Suddenly Mahika entered the room with her parents Abinash and Niharika and said to Jignesh,"This is not fair brother, you have completely forgotten about me your sister who always tied this sacred thread on your wrist as a proof of my love for my brother. Let me first hug my sister Jigyasa before I settle scores with you for forgetting me..."Jigyasa hugged her sister Mahika as Niharika told Jamuni,"Look at our children, they have grown older and wiser!"Jamuni introduced Jogya to her best friend,"He is Jogya, my husband and my true love!"Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice asking her,"Have you forgotten me, Jamuni your ex-husband?"She turned around to see the smirk on the face of her ex-husband Neelesh, as he was sitting on a wheelchair. Jignesh helped him to move forward by pushing his wheelchair in front of his mother Jamuni.Jamuni had beads of perspiration on her forehead. She knew that her ex-husband will not leave any opportunity to humiliate her in front of those who were more important for her than any other person on this earth.She told him softly in a sarcastic manner,"Even if I try to forget you, you never allow me to do so as you love registering your presence in my life time and again on one pretext or another!"Neelesh felt bad for Jamuni who had always fulfilled her duties as a wife but never he never gave her true love and respect as her husband.He had tears in his eyes for all those missed opportunities when he could have risen to the  occasion and accepted his twins as his own children as well as his loving wife Jamuni as his one and only wife forever!He said to Jamuni,"I know that I did many mistakes in my life, so far but please don't forget that I was the one who married you when others only used you for their own selfish gains!"Jamuni chose to forgive him, so she assured him,"How can I forget that, my dear ex-husband! You told me that I will be your one and only wife till the end of life!"Neelesh told her sarcastically,"I kept my promise but you didn't, as you have said...few minutes ago! You....have.... married..... again! A husband can never believe that his wife had moved on in her life without any feelings or concern for him and chose to get married again!"Jamuni was sad that Neelesh was saying such things in front of her children and friends and most importantly in front of Jogya, her husband and best friend!She told Neelesh angrily,"I married my best friend unlike you who backstabbed his best friend by having an affair with his wife!"Neelesh covered his face with his hands, as tears welled up in his eyes, while fighting with his own demons who were making him angry, sad and defeated in a single moment.He exploded like a volcano which was waiting for the right moment to share his truth in front of this whole world,"Yes, yes....I loved Maya....she was my true love...just like him....Jogya....who is your true love....I wanted to marry her but my best friend Sumit gave her expensive gifts and took her for vacations in foreign countries. I had to work hard to start my own company when he was enjoying with my girlfriend!Is it a sin to love someone....why a person can't receive love from his dream woman just because she got married to another person just because he was rich and more powerful.Love is pure, Love is blind because it doesn't fall for expensive gifts but it falls for the loving heart, the love in the eyes and the love in the smiles.Rich people like Sumit trap woman like Maya in their web of wealth and prosperity and try to take away their freedom to love someone by keeping them safely locked in their golden cages so that one day they die a sad and lonely death like a bird who forgot to sing because she lost her freedom to fly, to love and to touch the sky!"
