Jamuni returned to her present state of being as she looked for her childhood friend Jhilmil among many women who were harvesting their crops in the rainy season.The humid weather was making their bodies sweaty and uncomfortable but they were doing their farming work without any break.Jamuni remembered her mother Disha who worked alongwith Jogya's mother Daya on their vast farmlands.Jamuni used to run in the paddy fields which were like muddy puddles for her.She used to smear her body with mud and loved scaring people in her muddy avatar.One day, she saw Jhilmil walking across the paddy fields. She splashed muddy water on her dress and Jhilmil started crying hysterically as she said to Jamuni, " This was my favourite dress. You have spoiled my favourite thing now I will also take away one of your favourite things and then you will realise the pain of losing your favourite thing to your enemy who pretended to be your best friend throughout your life!"Jamuni started reflecting upon those words, "She did break my heart by stealing my favourite person on this earth, Jogya!"Jamuni had tears in her eyes, when she saw a beautiful sixteen year old girl, who looked like herself!The young girl offered her food and Lassi, a cold beverage made with curd.Jamuni relished the simple village meal which comprised of vegetable made with stems of pumpkin plant called Tuk, Saag made with Mustard leaves, Red and brown Bean Soup, Chapattis, rice and Lassi.She knew that village people are well known for their warm hospitality and delicious as well as nutritious food. She asked the young girl, "Thank you so much, dear! It was one of the best meals I ever had in my entire life. Please tell me about yourself and your family, I would like to thank them personally!"The young girl said to her, "My name is Jamuna and I live with my parents in this village. My mother's name is Jhilmil and she asked me to offer you this food as you might be hungry after coming to this village."Jamuna looked at the face of the young girl called Jamuna who beared a close resemblance to herself.She knew that her son Jignesh also looked like Jogya. It was truly a poetic justice for two people in love that their children resemble their lost love in life.Jamuni remembered when she left her village and started a new life in the heart of the Cosmopolitan city, she was just a young girl who was ambitious to fulfill her dreams of being rich and successful as her dream to be married to her true love was shattered forever.Jamuni promised to herself that one day she will return to her village as a successful woman. She wanted to make people jealous by her luxurious lifestyle.Jamuni studied hard and became a software engineer. She became ambitious in her new life and forgot her childhood sweetheart Jogya and fell in love with Neelesh, the CEO of her company.One day, Jamuni was sitting in her cabin, when she remembered her friend Nilima D and decided to send a chat request to her on her company's intranet. She wrote a message, "Sweetheart, can you come to my cabin, please! I am dying to talk to you. Let's catch up and grab a bite in the restaurant called, "Foodie Junction."She sent the message to ND and relaxed in her chair.As she left her office and went out to the restaurant, she saw a black shining limousine waiting outside to pick her up.Jamuni was surprised that how could Nilima arrange a limousine at such a short notice.When she reached the restaurant, she saw Neelesh sitting on the table reserved for her.She greeted Neelesh, "Hello Neelesh, how are you, I didn't expect to meet you like this, what a pleasant surprise!"Neelesh looked at her, she was wearing a little black dress or LBD in short and was looking stunning in her minimal makeup look.He told her, "You are the one who asked me to come here for this impromptu meeting. I received your chat message on intranet and arranged for this special occasion. I hope you are not disappointed?"Jamuni was too shocked to respond to Neelesh. She realised that ND was the email chat ID of their CEO Neelesh D. She got confused with the similar initials and committed a grave error which might even prove to be too serious for her professional career.Suddenly, she remembered that she had received a job offer from another company last week and since they were offering her a lucrative salary package, it was in her own interest to quit her present job. She had asked Nilima to meet her for discussing about the job offer. She decided to inform Neelesh about her decision to quit her present job and accept the job offer from another company.She said to him, "I am truly sorry that you have to come here at such a short notice. I just wanted to say thanks for such an amazing opportunity to work for this company. I wanted to be here for at least five years before moving on to the next job in another multinational company. I know that it might seem too early for the job change for a software engineer like me but I have decided to take the plunge and accept a bigger position as well as job responsibility in another software company. It will boost my career and will give me better exposure to more challenges in my field of software development."Neelesh understood Jamuni's dilemma and decided that it was in the best interest of his employee that she is relieved from her present job.He said to Jamuni, "I will send message to my secretary regarding your resignation. You are an important asset for this organisation and I hope that with your dedication and determination, one day you will scale the heights of your organisation."Jamuni was impressed with the friendly attitude and warm nature of Neelesh.She always felt lonely in this big city which was full of noises, people and concrete buildings. She sometimes felt suffocated and trapped within the concrete jungle in the heart of the city.
