Jamuni received a call from someone.She answered the call,"Yes, it's me...   Neelesh please leave this topic now...   No, I have not taken any decision in this    regard...No, I have not talked to Jignesh in this matter...What do you mean, it was my mistake....Who ran away like a coward?"She hung up on her caller.Jogya asked her,"If you don't mind then I overheard your conversation. Was it Neelesh?""Yes, it was Neelesh. He was accusing me of being a characterless woman!" Jamuni cried her heart out!Amidst her incessant sobs, she was muttering,"He....he has nerves to call me characterless.He is the one who cheated on me....He made me a homeless person in this vast city..He refused to leave his girlfriend..Who was someone else's wife....But if their wife dates another man...Then they are quick to label her as characterless..."Jogya consoled her by saying,"It's ok...Some people are born to give pain to those who make the mistake of loving them....You can't do anything about them...."Jamuni suddenly stopped crying and looked into his eyes,"Just like I did when I was with you and suddenly I left everything behind to find love in this heartless city but I forgot that I left my heart with you in village and my mind was confused as I was trying to get love by neglecting your true love due to my inflated ego!"Jogya told her,"Don't be overtly critical of your past actions. We can't change our past but we can learn from it. Just look at it from this perspective that if you were happy with Neelesh then you would have never thought of in your wildest of dreams to meet me once again and relive our past history in a new form of friendship based on trust and mutual respect for each other!"Jamuni understood his point.She decided not to think about her past and for once think about her future in a new light.She talked to her friends and helped Jamuna in taking admission in a computer programming course from a well reputed Institute. Jamuna was able to grasp all the concepts regarding computer programming with the help of Jamuni.As the time passed, Jamuna passed her course in computer programming with flying colours and was selected by a well known company as their employee through campus recruitment organised by her Institute.Jhilmil called Jamuni one day and told her,"I want Jamuna to return to her village as the son of a rich farmer has asked me to call her back to the village so that he could ask for her hand in marriage!"Jamuni told her,"Her father is not ready to send her back and she also wants to be a self-reliant woman before she thinks about setting down in her life!"Jhilmil told her,"Her biological father is Jogesh and he wants her to come back to her village as he is against women empowerment kind of notion being spread in this world by some women like you!"Jamuni shouted at her,"What do you mean Jhilmil by declaring openly that Jamuna is a daughter of Jogesh?""Don't even dare to shout at me, you ... At least I can confidently say the name of my child's father, unlike you who is a characterless woman, who slept with several men and is ashamed to reveal the name of her son's father in front of this whole world. Afterall Karma catches up with everyone, sooner or later!" hissed Jhilmil in a malicious manner.Jamuni hung up the phone.She prepared two cups of hot, frothy coffee and asked Jogya to join her for some gossip and philosophical discussion so that she could take her mind away from the clamour of this world and ultimately find some calm in the sweet voice of her true love and friend for life, "Jogya."He asked her,"Why do you care so much for the heartless beings on this earth. When we will realise their true intentions then only we will understand the reason behind their words and actions."Jamuni replied while sipping her coffee,"Sometimes I feel like taking a break from all this mayhem and chaos surrounding my life or life itself!""I think you need a break from negative and jealous people in your life and not life itself!" Jogya suggested to her."Yes, dear you are absolutely right! Why don't we go to a hill station for this weekend as Jamuna has gone to another city for a month and both of us feel imprisoned sometimes within these four walls of my apartment." Jamuni asked Jogya.Jogya told her,"It's an excellent idea, let's finish our coffee and pack our bags but don't forget to message your son otherwise he might get worried for your safety and health!"Jamuni told him with sparkle in her eyes,"Do you know my son simply adores you. He told me one day that you are the perfect partner for me and I should marry you if I want to be the happiest person on this earth!"Jogya pulled her closer and kissed her on her cheek as he whispered in her ears,"Can I be hopeful of some hugs and kisses if I accompany you on this trip to the weekend getaway in a beautiful hill station surrounded by mighty mountains and rivers?"Jamuni hugged him as she felt that she must give all her love to the man of her dreams who stood by her in the end when everyone left her to deal with her own mess.She could listen to his heartbeats which were nature's way of communicating to her that time is slipping from her fingers like the grains of sand and she must finish all her unfinished business on this earth before she leaves this mortal world and bid farewell to all her mortal friends including the love of her life, "Jogya" and her two children, "jignesh" and "Jamuna."
