It's been a while after Audrey dragged me away from my friends. "Hey! What are you up to?" I asked as I watch her go a different path where there is no log. "You'll see" Audrey replied and resumed walking.
She kept on walking deep in the wood, I was now getting a little scared as it was getting dark now, when Audrey stopped and turned to me.
"Where are we?" I asked looking around the dark. It was getting scary, what has she planned by bringing me here, I have no idea.
"Oh...this a place where people like you live. Don't worry, you'll be fine, actually you will love it" she said this and grabbed my hand again. I looked around once again, we were in the middle of trees and trees. Sounds of animals and insects could be heard.
She dragged me deep inside and threw me. I fell on top of a hard rock scrapping my knee in the process. "This is for replying back to me, Britt and Melissa. I hope you remember this when you open your filthy mouth in front of us. Oh...only if you find your way back. Hahaha!" With this she went away.
I tried getting up, but y the time I stood up, Audrey was gone and I had no idea where to go. So, I sat back waiting for someone to find me as I whimpered once again in pain. It was so dark here that it frightened me. What if there are animals lurking around? Oh god I'll die. I started shaking due to fear and cold. I thought, would anyone know I went missing or won't they care? God help me out....it's scary here with cold air slapping on my skin and the pain searing from my body, its impossible for me to stay awake for a long time. I tried stopping the blood from the wound I got on my knee because animals may smell it and make their way here for fresh meat.
I was afraid to shout for help because again it may gain the attention of the creatures here, which I don't want. Suddenly, I started crying thinking about all the things that had happened to me including this.
Firstly, Jonah and Lily hurt me by ditching me, Aiden and I always argued over things, then came Brittney, first by throwing food on me, then making plans with Lucas to ruin me, Melissa and Audrey's hurtful comments and now this. It was too much for me to handle, I let out all my heart into crying alone in the cold forest.

I am so relieved to be back from the woods. Britt won't stop whining about how her legs pain. It was so frustrating. I wanted to leave her there for the rest of her life. Daniel was of very little help as he had already told that he would not be near Britt so, he was walking ahead of us while I was stuck with Britt.
We threw the logs in the bon fire and settled ourselves on the ground. All the others did the same and settled themselves after which Mr. Scott spoke, "I see that everyone have done their duties. Now, count your team members to make sure everyone is back from the woods and report it to us."
Everyone starts counting their team members. I also started counting even though I don't think someone's missing...but I was so wrong.
"Guys, Kiara is missing. Did any of you see her?" I ask them. "No...we haven't seen her after getting parted in the woods" Carrie says. I look at Audrey, "Audrey where is Kiara? You were with her." I ask her. "I-I don't know " she stutter out. I look at her carefully to see her trying to act normal but failing miserably while Britt is gripping her hand tightly. Its a waste of time asking them so, I went towards Mr. Scott and inform him.
"Okay, so everyone listen, one of your batch mate is missing, her name is Kiara Jones. I want few students to volunteer in finding her." Mr. Scott announces and some guys stand up and come to us. One of them was Lucas. How dare he volunteer for the girl whom he tried to use.
I stopped him midway, "what do you think you are doing?" I ask him glaring. "Going to find Kiara" he replies nonchalantly. "You won't go. I won't let you" I seethe at him. "See buddy, I made a mistake okay?" He says with no guilt. "Keep your trash with you. We don't need you, there are enough people here so better go and sit with your members" I say and walk back to Mr. Scott.
Everyone has scattered in the forest in search of her. Me, Daniel, Blake made our way to the direction where Audrey took her. While Jeremy and Jake stayed with the girls.
"Kiara! Kiara!" I shout her name but no response. I walk more deep but no sight of her. Why did Audrey go so deep? Had she already planned it? Kia, where are you? I think all these on my way.
Its dangerous for her to be alone at this time. "Bro, I don't think she is here" Blake says but I pay no attention.
I have gotten so close to her today. We shared a lot of secrets, embarrassing moments and laughed a lot. Today was the beginning of our friendship and I felt something when I was with her. I don't know what to call this feeling but I have never felt it before. I felt like a normal teen laughing and joking around when I was with her today and I like that feeling too much to let go.
"Aiden look, over there" Daniel shouts while pointing towards a rock. I come out of my thoughts and look where he pointed. The dark wasn't helping but I was sure that we were too deep inside the woods. I walked towards the rock switching on the torch mode in my phone. I take long cautious steps, "Kiara, is that you?" I ask, my voice small but no respond. I take more confident steps now and bend down to take a look.
She was lying there with blood on her knee and arms, her tears dried on her cheeks. "It's her." I inform the boys and they quickly make their way here. "Kia, Kiara" I shake her shoulders, she moans in pain but doesn't open her eyes. I pick her unconscious body in my arm and follow Blake and Daniel as they find our way back to the bon fire.
After few minutes, I see the bon fire and start walking there. Daniel had messaged Mr. Scott telling him we found her so all of them were waiting for us to come.
Carrie and Julie are the first one to notice us and run our way. "Kia, Kia...where was she?" Julie asks, "I'll explain everything but for now let's treat her wounds" I tell them and they nod.
Mr. Scott comes to us and direct us to our tents. He motions to lay Kiara on a tent so I take her to mine as it was closer to where we stood. He comes inside and touch her pulse, "she is breathing so nothing serious. She must have fainted due to the fear and lack of energy." Mr. Scott explains while I nod my head. "Who went with her?" Mr. Tyler asks to which I take Audrey's name. He nods his head, "You treat her wounds while we talk to Audrey about the matter." Mr. Tyler says and goes out followed by Mr. Scott.
Carrie brings in the first-aid kit and she starts cleaning the wound on Kia's arms as I do her knees. She whimpers a little in her unconscious state on the effect of antiseptic. After cleaning her wounds, Carrie leaves for her tent.
Britt comes a while later, "what is she doing here? it's my area. Why didn't you lay her in her tent?" She questions and I reply, "simple, because you and your friends can't be trusted around her" I shrug. "Where do I stay then?" Britt asks annoying the hell outa me. "Go to your friend Melissa" I tell her and she groans but doesn't make a move. "What are you waiting for? Anyways, its your friend's fault. Can't help" I say shrugging. She groans once more and leave the tent.
I sigh thank god, I won't have to ruin my night today. I look at Kia sleeping on the mattress. Tear stains covering her face. She shivers a little and I put a blanket on her. It must be tough for her to go through such pain, but still she never gives up. I keep an eye on her and suddenly, I'm falling into a deep slumber.
