Chapter 576
Cherished By Seven Sisters
Chapter 576 Punishing Lapdog Vaughn breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he had finally defused the conflict. Suddenly, Emrysâ voice echoed again. âIndeed, itâs pointless to argue with someone of such poor character.â
Everyone fell silent.
Crack!
The scene fell silent once again, followed closely by the sound of a shattering glass.
Gilbert had crushed the glass in his hand.
His expression was incredibly gloomy. This brat doesnât know what heâs talking about. Iâve already let that matter go instead of pursuing it further, yet he continues to push his luck. He must be tired of living.
He deserves to die!
Colors drained from Vaughnâs face. His expression was complex as he glanced at Emrys. Then, without uttering a word, he shook his head in disappointment and walked away.
What else could he say?
He had already saved Emrys once, yet Emrys didnât appreciate the opportunity.
Vaughn felt that he had already done more than enough.
Darrell had been holding back for so long, but at that moment, he could no longer contain himself.
Unable to suppress the smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, he fanned the flames, saying, âGuy with the surname Lund, weâve long since experienced your arrogance, but for you to dare disrespect Mr. Cunningham, arenât you being too presumptuous?â
In this conflict, Darrell played a significant role.
It was the same back then.
The conflict between Emrys and Cillian and Brian was, in part, fueled by Darrellâs instigation.
After the last lifeâandâdeath gamble, Cillian stopped causing trouble for Emrys. Naturally, Brian dared not either, which left Darrell feeling extremely uncomfortable.
He didnât want his teeth to have been broken in vain.
And so, Darrell began to stir up trouble again by Gilbertâs side, claiming that Emrys had stolen Gilbertâs woman, Blanche.
Naturally, Gillet was upset, which led to the scene that just unfolded.
Everything was going according to Darrellâs plan.
He spoke up now, aiming to intensify the conflict between Emrys and Gilbert.
However, no sooner had Darrell finished speaking than a figure appeared out of nowhere, moving like a phantom.
It swiftly rushed to Darrellâs front, grabbed the back of his neck, and violently slammed him into the edge of the table.
Bang!
That collision happened to strike Darrellâs teeth again.
The two gold front teeth, which had been recently fitted, were suddenly flung onto the ground.
The person who had made the move was Emrys. Emrys sneered, âIâve come to realize that you really do have a sharp tongue!â
Darrell had already been taught a lesson, but he still couldnât keep his mouth shut. Since he hadnât learned his lesson, Emrys didnât mind giving Darrell a revision.
Bang!
Everyone present was left stunned following that strike.
Recently, Darrell had been constantly trying to curry favor with Gilbert, a fact that was clear to everyone. In other words, Darrell was nothing more than Gilbertâs lapdog.
One should consider the consequences before punishing another person.
By daring to reprimand Darrell, Emrys was essentially disrespecting Gilbert.
Gilbertâs expression darkened, and he glared intently at Emrys with burning rage in his eyes.
Unexpectedly, Emrys let out a disdainful chuckle and said, âWhatâs the matter? Are you uncomfortable seeing me hit your lapdog? Well, let me do it again!â
Bang!
Another powerful blow followed, and Darrellâs upper and lower rows of teeth were completely knocked out.
Emrys broke into a grin.
Regardless of whether those people were comfortable or not, he was certainly at ease. Who said I couldnât do as I please after abandoning the title of Empyrean Lord? I, Emrys Lund, can be as unrestrained as I want!
Emrys had punished Gilbertâs lapdog twice in front of Gilbert.
In the end, he audaciously delivered a fierce kick to Darrellâs rear.
That wasnât just a kick to Darrellâs rear, but it was also clearly a slap to Gilbertâs face!
Everyone present was stunned, their emotions incredibly complex.
They had witnessed arrogance before, but never to the extent displayed by Emrys. Does this brat truly have no fear of death?
Gilbertâs face had gone beyond ashen; it was now contorted with rage and utterly menacing.
He couldnât control his anger without killing Emrys, the arrogant and cowardly jerk.
âYou brat! You deserve to die!â With a furious roar, Gilbert smashed the table with a single punch, sending wooden splinters flying all over the floor.
Everyone around him was taken aback. Their bodies stiffened in shock,,and cold sweat broke out on their foreheads.
