David used his other hand with all five fingers intact to point at Spider Monkey beside him.

After being thrown off the second floor by Emrys, Spider Monkey had been lying on the ground without getting up. It wasn’t because his injuries were severe, but because getting up would serve no purpose.

Instead, it would make him an easy target. Hence, he might as well play dead.

Admittedly, his strategy was very effective.

However, David’s action ruined his plan, putting him in the line of fire. Ignoring everything else, Spider Monkey sprang up from the ground and immediately began to run for his life.
