Her words were sharp and confrontational.

Benjamin loaned his tie, his hands on his hips, and his handsome face looked cold and sharp.
He exuded a pen of cold indifference.
Benjamin stared intensely at the woman before him. He barely contained his emotions anymore. âAre you making this up to push me into a divorce?
Harper looked up, her eyes wide. âLauren told me you were picking out a wedding drem, Benjamin. If youâre worried Iâll expose you in front of Grandpa your parents, you can rest easy. Iâm not that despicable, and I wouldnât do that.â
She had loved her so much. Now, it was his insistence on divores that showed har just how little she meant to him.
Sheâd put a wall to keep some scrap of dignity for herself before he could destroy her completely.
Benjamin understood her , âLook, maybe you misunderstood. I was just helping her pick out some clothes since sheâs leaving the hospital today. And she just using my phone so she could call har former agent.â
âSo, youâre saying Im accusing Lauren of nothing and lying about you two?
âI didnât say that.â
âBut inât that what you mean? I donât understand why your phone always happens to be with Lauren whenever I try to call you. If you donât want to answer, then I went bother calling anymore.â
