Maeve was confused and looked at Sergio. “What table?”

“I’ve reserved a table at a restaurant, the one you like,” Sergio replied.

Facing Maeve’s confusion, Sergio explained, “You’ve recently taken over the Scott family, so I’ll introduce you to some industry insiders to help you navigate inore efficiently.”

Upon hearing Sergio’s words, Maeve suddenly laughed. “Sergio, are you trying to use the same tactics that you’d used on Clara on me?” At Maeve’s remark, Sergio hesitated. “That’s not what I meant.”
