After about half an hour I started panicking. She has never like never!! went anywhere for this long without a single message or a call. I locked all the doors and went down. Walking to the main gate of my building, I asked the guards at what time she left, they said around 3 pm. She is gone for 7 hours. What is going on?
I turned around when I heard the guard calling me, he walked to me " I saw she went somewhere with Mr. Ducas and Mr smith, I don't think you need to worry about her "
I sighed, at least she is okay. why do they do this? if they don't want me to know anything it's okay but at least tell me that they will be okay.
I smiled and thanked him. I went back into my apartment and made some dinner in case uncle and smith comes home with Nora they can have dinner here. I even have to talk with my uncle about my parents," your parents are alive" IÂ remembered. they are alive..... what are we going to do further? what is the planning? the first thing I want to know is in what condition are they? I hope they are comfortable mad happy wherever they are.
Callen pov:
" you gave Kandis a bruise? like for real?" this kid has been mentioning Kandis too many times.
" yeah " I replied shortly.
"I thought you were supposed to protect your gir-" I gave him a glare to shut his mouth and of course, without laughing he wouldn't shut up.
" do you like her?" I looked at him, his expression was serious.
" what are you talking, stupid," I said dryly.
" well I must be wrong that Kandis is the first girl who you look after so much and I must be wrong about the thing I saw you both doing in the park today," he said reminding me of our small moment in the park today. yes, I admit I did it on purpose, I was well aware that she would crash at me if I stand so close to the bar but my legs wouldn't cooperate with my brain. I smiled remembering how she got nervous when I stepped further, how she was checking me out slowly so that I wouldn't know what she was doing.
" here, stop smiling. you look stupid smiling like this. I am not used to it" he said grinning and patting me on my shoulder, he came near my ear and whispered "I am okay with Kandis, I approve" chuckling and going out of the room he stopped and turned around giving me a wink. I chuckled but what is happening exactly? I like when I am around her, I love to spend time with her, I like it when she comes to me when she is in pain, I like her .... but is it just as a friend or is it just because she is actually a nice girl or is it just because... I sighed. do I love her? how am I supposed to know that? there are people who would help me learn about everything but who can help me with this question?
hearing talking come from the hall I came out of the room and entered the living room. I saw Mr. Wilson, talking with Finn. finn's mom isn't back and I don't think she would be too. she doesn't like facing Mr. Wilson and Finn is the one suffering in between these two.
" son, how have you been? how is your school going? "
a person who hides his child's identity, makes him suffer from the worst, I don't think it is what is called real love. if you ask what I would have done in his situation, I would have admitted my fault and I would never want my loved ones to suffer for my mistakes. Finn has always kept hope on his father that one day he would admit that he is his child, half-brother of Lucas Wilson and from that day he won't have to hide his identity. it hurts when he cries about how his father passed by him without looking at him because of the media.
"I am fine, school is going fine too," he said looking down.
"I hope you don't talk to Lucas at school much," he said, sitting on the couch. I looked at Finn, he hmmed. It's always been like this, he always meets with Finn to make him remember how he has to live. what Finn wanted is a normal father-son talk. knowing he would talk just about these things still, Finn gets excited to meet him and then gets disappointed.
" dad, do you want to eat something? I can make you something... I learned many dishes" he said trying to change the topic.
" no, I am fine. I don't have much time at my hand, I will leave soon"
" ah, okay"
" where is your mom?"
" at work " he replied.
" what about you Callen? you are doing good?" I fake smiled and gave him a nod.
" nice, so... I will come back soon okay son?" he said standing up. I saw Finn's resistance but he just gave a nod.
" uh ...mm... yeah, see you soon"
after Mr. Wilson left Finn directly went inside the washroom. I sighed and I rubbed my face with my palm. I heard sobs as I waited for him outside the washroom. I heard him say something which broke my heart into pieces, " I really really don't have a problem living like this but i want his love"

he came out after 20 mins ," cha, you want to go eat ice cream?" he asked, pretending to be okay when he just was crying for straight 20 mins.
" sure, give me 10 mins ... I will be back "
I came out of his apartment and opened my apartment which is beside him. I went in and locked the doors, as the tears flowed. I can protect him from everything but not the mental trauma he is facing.
Finn has always been the only one who cared for me when I was away from my family. he never treated me like I am just his bodyguard, he always used the term friend. Never has he ever told me which hurt me. I bite my lips to stop the tears from flowing. I think I was wrong in calling Kandis the emotional one, I am no different.
I washed my face and locked my apartment. I saw Finn standing in front of the elevator.
" red eyes " he observed me and chuckled but it contained sadness.
" do you want to call Kandis?" I asked and he smiled.
" go ahead and make your future bright," he said teasingly with his hands gesturing stars.
I called her, told her to get ready, and heard things about how she does not take time to get ready like others. that's the reason why her hairs are always messy. on our way, I picked her up and we went to the nearest ice cream shop. after we were done, I went to take out the car from the parking when Finn stopped me.
" i don't want to go home so soon , let's take a walk... just here?" he recommended, i looked at kat and g=she shrugged and gave a nod.
" Okay then " Finn started walking in front and we joined him.
" do you have any news about emma? " kat asked.
"I have been in contact with the hospital, they said she has been discharged" Finn turned around quickly " she is?"
" yeah," I replied. he smiled" we can go meet her tomorrow"
" Yeah, we can ... but how about I live you there with her for a few hours and come pick you up?" I had some other plans in my mind. I looked at kat and saw her frowning and looking at something in front, she jogged further and stopped.
" yeah sure we can do that" Finn replied me and we both stopped besides kat.
" kat, what happened? are you tired already?" Finn asked. I looked before where kat was looking and something was kept in the middle of the road. I took a few steps further, Finn and kat behind me.
" that seems like a-"
" body " Kandis completed Finn's statement.
we three ran towards the body and I was speechless when I saw a boy looking around 5-7 yrs was covered with blood. I quickly made a call to the hospital for an ambulance, they said no ambulance was available and that i have to bring him to the hospital.
" he is breathing," Kandis said, giving a nod to her, I went to bring my car which was in front of the ice cream shop. I quickly got in and stopped the car where Kandis and Finn were standing. Finn picked up the kid and settled him in the back seat. kat sat with the boy and Finn beside me in the passenger seat. I looked at her through the rear mirror, I could say that she was thinking too deeply.
I heard the tearing of clothes, Finn turned around " what are you doing?" he asked Kandis.
" he is losing blood from his arm, I am tying this around his injury ... I hope it helps at least a bit"
" Finn, open the box below your seat " that box has some cotton, he bent down and took out the box and handed it to kat. " and here dial the first no. on the call log, tell them my name and tell them his condition so they can arrange the room likewise"
I heard a whimper and looked at kat once again, she was cleaning the blood from his hands but whenever he whimpered she would get tensed and worried.
