Shiko looks at the silent guy and feels the air around her get heavy. The guy is looking at her blankly with a death glare. He points her to come closer with one finger without even blinking or changing his expression. Shiko gulps and gets slightly teary for a second, scared to death.
She starts slowly getting closer to him in the huge council room.
Shiko: Um...... are you..... the Vice President..............? She says very, very silently.
The guy stands up and keeps looking at Shiko silently. He puts his hands in his pockets and very slowly starts walking towards Shiko. She freezes in place with teary eyes. The guy gets close and stands right in front of her with the same death stare. Shiko starts to almost feel dizzy
Shiko: "What is going on.... is this really the Vice President...? Why isn't he saying anything..? Why do I feel like I'm gonna pass out. I'm struggling to breath... I feel heavy.. like the air is weighing me down... I'm... I'm scared.."
she breathes as silently as she can and opens her mouth as she tries to utter a word
Shiko: Umm.. are you..- she gets cut up by his deep deep voice
Yami: Can I leave?.
Shiko: h-hm.....? She says, scared as a shiver goes down her spine. She looks into the guys dark and empty eyes, she can feel her body getting hotter as if she's burning yet she feels cold
Yami: Can I get out of the room?. He keeps looking at Shiko blankly and holds her wrist with his big hands compared to her body. he can wrap his hand around Shiko's wrist completely
Are you going to, Let. Me. Out?. He says with his deep and blank voice with no expression or emotion in sight
Shiko looks at her wrist as it starts hurting, her tears slowly start flowing
Shiko: "What am I supposed to do...? I thought I was finally gonna have a peaceful day.... I'm scared... it hurts... what am I going to do.......?"
She is slightly shaking
Yami: Am I allowed to go out?. He says as he bends his head slightly to the side, looking at the frozen in place Shiko who is crying
A door on the side of the room leading to the council dorm gets knocked while its open. The Student Council President, Zero Tetsu is here. He smiles a little in a way that gives off a feeling as if he's gonna hurt someone. The guy and Shiko both slowly look at him. Shiko with terrified and crying eyes.
Zero: Yaaami-Chan~ Stop scaring our guest~ he looks at Shiko and starts getting closer
and let go of her hand. She seems to be playing her role in our school and society. He stands next to them
Being frail and feeling fear. He smirks slightly as Yami lets go of Shiko's wrist, leaving a slight mark.
Yami: I suppose... he says in the same blank and deep voice and goes back to sit on his small couch in the corner of the room
Shiko takes a deep breath and wipes away her tears as quick as she can, looking at the SCP; Zero.
She can feel the heaviness in the air slowly fading away. Zero looks at Shiko up and down
Zero: You are weak, frail, scared and more yea. But... what are you wearing?. He says with an annoyed smile as if he's pointing out the worst parts of her and touches the knot tying the black shirt's two sides; Kuro's freshmen shirt.
White jeans and a black shirt? Giggles as if he's mocking her
Aren't you a girl? What even is this combo? Seems more like a popular girl outfit rather then a coward's choice of style. Smiles as he Looks down on her, Shiko looks down on the ground silently
Shiko: I'm...sorry..... is it a problem....? All of my clothes were ruined... by a bully probably.. she says very very silently, Zero starts smirking like a psycho
Zero: Ooo~ interesting!~ I'll let it slide this time. Not that it violates any rules. Aaand do you know who did that to your clothes?? He's smirking like he's got a plan in mind but Shiko doesn't see because she's looking down, Shiko takes a deep breath
Shiko: I.... have an idea... but not certain... she says silently
Zero: Why don't you bully them back?~ do something so bad that they wouldn't bother you again! You would be free~ nobody could do anything to you! He does a fake and mischievous giggle
Everyone would want to be your friend!~ Shiko slowly lifts up her head an hesitantly looks at him. She sees his smirk turn into a fake innocent smile in mere seconds.
Everyone will respect you. He says in a tone trying to be friendly but sounds totally fake if you have real friends. Shiko looks in his eyes, kinda spooked from the mad glistening and stays silent.
Shiko: I... I don't know...I couldn't possibly do something so- she gets cut off by the him even tho she was speaking very very silently
Zero: Think about it. Long and hard. He says, ditches the smile and looks at her blankly
Now go. Give it some thought. That's an order. He says seriously turns around
Ta-ta now. The Student Council has work to do. He claps his hands quickly twice as the Vice President gets up from his small couch and sits on the big table on the middle of the room. He sits in from of him and they both start swiftly writing some stuff in multiple book and notebooks.
Shiko quickly bow's a little and rushes out of the room. She puts her back on the door and falls to her knees with a huge sigh of relief that THAT is over. She lifts her head slightly up to see someone is leaning on the wall and window right in front of the door. It's... Haru!
Haru: Yo! He does a small hello salute with his hand as Shiko tries to catch her breath
Tough day? Shiko silently nods
Shiko: Y-yea... she says, looking up at the door with the corner of her eye
Haru: Why are you even up here? Do you have any idea what might have happened if I didn't ask of you to my brother? He says rolling his eyes, not in his usual cheerful self but just kinda bored and worried. Shiko looks at him confused
Shiko: W-What do you mean...? She says hesitantly, kinda quiet, trying to understand what's going on. Haru looks at her.
Haru: Well, you ran by me in such a rush at the stairs so i messaged my brother to ask if he was near. Their dorms connect to the council room and thankfully he was there so he could come check if you were inside. I had to make him check even though I know he isn't any good. He looks at Shiko who still looks confused and sighs
I'm pretty sure you were tricked in some way. Nobody meets the council members in the council room.
Shiko gets her phone out and slowly gets up. She hands it to Haru after opening the message.
Shiko: I.... got this.. she says silently. Haru takes her phone and writes the number who sent the message in his own phone
Haru: Yup, You we're tricked all right. This is Lucy. One of Nagisa's so called friends. He hands Shiko's phone back to her
Did you see Vice President Yami?
Shiko: Umm... is he the black haired guy who doesn't really talk much? She says while averting her eyes, Haru sighs
Haru: Yup... he sighs again
Tch. You are so lucky my nerd brother was in his room! What if you got the Vice President out of the room?? He rubs the side of his head
Shiko: W-Why...? Is he not allowed out...? She says hesitantly
Haru: You don't know?? He is like a mega bully. He is not allowed anywhere besides the council only area! He is the only other member besides my bro. He is only allowed out during weekends at specific times. He won't go out without his "permission granted" because then he would have to take all the responsibility for the things he caused when out. HE is definitely someone you wouldn't want to mess with. He says as seriously as he can as a goof
Shiko: Um.... he... makes it hard to breath. How can your brother even talk to him... doesn't seem like a person to speak unless spoken too. He also looks.. older. She says all this really silently
Haru: Say wha now? Sigh
Whatever, I'm no good with silence. You know I could have been playing video games right now. He puffs his face
BUUUUT I would have to mention seeing you to Kuro at some point and he would be furious with me that I didn't do anything. So I had to... BUT you owe me one!~ he finally smiles like the goof he is with that last sentence, Shiko nods quickly and bow's a little
Shiko: T-thank you! She says quietly yet in a tone that Haru can actually easily hear, Haru looks kinda surprised
Haru: Wow, What did Kuro do to you..? I can actually talk to you myself. He looks at her closer
AND IS THAT... Kuro's favorite Freshman shirt???? He says kinda loudly, Shiko blushes very slightly
Shiko: I-I didn't know it was his favorite... but I guess it is... h-he gave it to me because all of my clothes were ruined by a bully... she says smiling as if she is useless and feels bad, Haru looks at her, thinking.
Haru: Did you... tell the same thing to my brother by any chance? He says, squinting his eyes as he looks at her. Shiko nods slowly
Well then. I don't know what he told you. But don't even think about whatever he did!~ I know my bro well enough to realize he's up to no good. He smiles goofily and lets out a sigh of relief
Welp, I think we should both head to our rooms now! I think you have stuff to think about while I have games to play and a Stone dude to bother. He does a peace sign with his hand as Shiko smiles slightly.
Shiko: I... suppose so. She sighs a giggle
And be careful... he may be sensitive.. she says just kinda quietly, Haru let's out a short laugh
Haru: Kuro!? Sensitive!?!? HAH, don't make me laugh Ghost Girl! As if he could be sensitive! He is probably gonna smack me if I bother him any more today. That does NOT sound sensitive to me. He giggles a little more before finally stopping
Welp, Ta-ta~ I'm going!~ runs off to the stairs and disappears from sight on the way to his and Kuro's room
Shiko looks at her phone and saves Lucy's number just Incase something DOES happen. She gets down in her room and starts writing some thoughts in her diary.
-While in Kuro and Haru's room-
Haru gets inside and looks at Kuro who is sitting on his bed, already in his comfortable clothes, sewing white slightly visible patches on Shiko's ripped dress which she got from her sister
Haru: Wooow dude, whatchu doing? He gets his PSP out from the corner, throws his shirt away and starts playing after jumping on his bed stomach first
Kuro: None of your business. He says, focused on the sewing
I was gonna finish this and start my work before you came but it needs more work than I thought. He is trying his best to make it as good as new even if the patches will be visible
Haru: What even is thaaat? And since when can you sew!? Isn't that kiiinda a girl thing? He says while focusing on his game. Kuro sighs.
Kuro: It's simply a helpful skill to know. Nothing to do with it being girly or not. Knowing to do this saves me the money of making someone else do it.
Haru: Whaatever~ That aside, I gotta talk to you about something... he says while playing his game faster with a late response to Kuro. Kuro sighs
Kuro: Is it important?. He says trying to stay in focus on the dress
Haru: Welllll, Nope to me but it probably it is to you. It's about that white pet of yours~ he keeps his focus on the game.
Kuro stops what he's doing, slowly puts the dress and the sewing stuff to a side and looks at Haru.
Kuro: You are to pay attention to me now. Shiko is not a pet. He takes a short breather
she's... a friend. He says very slightly hesitantly
Now get talking!. Haru dies in his game
Haru: Ah- dammit! Ughhh. He sits properly on the bed and slightly annoyed that he has to stop playing, he starts telling Kuro about what happened. After he finishes, he puts his PSP away, gets his Laptop out and stars opening a game from there.
Kuro sighs and gets back to sewing the dress
Haru: So, What are you gonna do? He says as he tries to find a good game to play
Kuro: Nothing. You really saved her. He sighs a short laugh
Even if you did it so I didn't smack you. You are a good person that can be smart when you try hard enough sometimes he smiles knowing Haru isn't gonna realize what he said fast enough
Haru: Yea yea thank you..... After a few seconds WAIT WHA!? He says kinda loudly but doesn't even look up from his screen after finally deciding on a game
Kuro starts giggling a little and finishes the dress. He puts it on a hanger and hangs it on the arm of his closet. He sighs and sits on his desk. He takes a few notes in his notebook and soon after that, takes out his laptop to work. He starts getting sucked into his work very quickly as his hands keep moving faster and faster.
Haru lifts his head from his dating simulator and looks at him.
Haru: Geez, you workaholic... you get sucked into work as much as I do to games. I wish you used that speed of your hands to play XBox with me or something. He puffs his face and looks back into his game.
Kuro doesn't even hear him. He keeps working with coding, translating stuff for people, writing multiple stuff and doing whatever work he can find. He does these for like four hours. Haru already closed his game and fell asleep. Kuro looks at him and takes let's out a big sigh of relief.
He looks at his laptop one last time.
Kuro: "Okkay... so once again, all of this will be going to my bank account. Man I worked hard today.." he does a few last clicks and closes the laptop. He stretches and looks at the dress he completely fixed up with white patches.
"I hope she doesn't think this looks too...... old, now?" He looks at his phone from afar and sighs. He quickly takes and opens it. He messages Shiko.
From Kuro to Shiko, he sends a message
Kuro: "How are you..?"
At that moment Shiko wakes up with the message sound and holds her head from the side with her hand
Shiko: Oh god..... I must have fallen asleep while writing in my diary...she yawns
I really did have a lot to think about.. she stretches her arms a little and looks at her phone since she got a notification. Kinda scared because of earlier; she picks up her phone and takes a deep breath
"Oh please be a normal message.."
She looks at what it is and sees Kuro's message. At first she's a little surprised but then she actually smiles genuinely.
Shiko messages him back
Shiko: "I-I'm good. I fell asleep on my desk apparently haha ( ï½¥wï½¥')"
She looks at the message she sent for a few seconds but then throws herself on her bed and shoves her face in her pillow with her phone in her hand
"What the heck was that expression face!? What am i even doing? I don't even know if this is how friends actually text! I only saw my sister sending that to me before and that was like once a week! From my mothers phone!! Am I... being stupid!? Would I make him mad now? Am I gonna lose the only friend I got in a day because of such a silly mistake!???"
While she is tossing and turning on her bed from her anxiety, she gets a reply. Three in fact. With fear she slowly looks at her phone.
Kuro: "Heh, that was pretty expected. After all you are probably drained after such a tough day. You keep falling into trouble. I wouldn't want to lose a friend..."
"Also I'm pretty tired too, I've been working for like four hours straight online. I feel like I can pass out any minute.."
"(-^-)..zzzZZ"
Shiko looks at the messages with surprise and finally giggles
Shiko: He also uses them... and sends multiple messages instead of one big message apparently! That's actually kinda cute...~ Feels friendly...
she thinks of a reply and writes it with a light smile
Shiko: "Don't... overwork yourself.."
"You made me have a peaceful day... I am really thankful....." she gets a reply in practically seconds
Kuro: "Peaceful? It started with you almost drowning and ended with a huge Student Council Disaster Prank."
"For the first time in my life, I was thankful that Haru skipped a class. I don't even want to know what could have happened if he didn't see you going up..."
Shiko's face turns kinda blank as she realizes Haru told Kuro about what happened
Shiko: "Oh... so you know.." she stops to think for a second and takes a breather
"It's not that I was hiding it i swear. I just didn't have the time..."
"Also I know who was the one who did it this time..."
"President Zero told me to bully ones that would bully me and that that could make me... free. He claims that nobody would bother me then... I thought about it a lot but I can't even think about what I'm supposed to do... of course I'm not gonna bully anyone.
But... what can I do...?" She hesitantly hits the send button and gets a reply after like a minute
Kuro: "Don't Pay ANY attention to what Zero says. He's just playing mind tricks with you. We can talk a little about the Vice President at tomorrow's breakfast. We both need rest now."
"Try not to think about the negatives of the day. I'll be in front of your door at 6:30AM tomorrow, half an hour before breakfast so that you can get out of the room without anybody realizing you still stay there."
Shiko lets out a short sigh oh relief
Shiko: "Y-yea... you're right.." before she can write anything else, Kuro sends another message
Kuro: "By the way, Tomorrow is the day that Haru sneaks out of school so he can go clubbing and such."
"You wanna come over then to play some video games with me like you promised? Ù©( á )Ù"
Shiko looks at the messages and giggles
Shiko: W-What even is that face?~ she giggles a little again and replies
"Heh, sure I guess... if everything turns out peaceful that is.."
Kuro: "That's okay. If we can't do that, we can just go practice swimming~:)))"
Shiko opens her eyes wide and quickly replies
Shiko: "Nope, Nope, Nope, I have to prepare mentally for a few days before that..."
"But I suppose we can make plan B... Fighting Training..?" She sends with slight hesitation
"Am I even gonna be able to do that? Geez.."
Kuro quickly sends a reply
"That sounds great! Welp, we are both probably slowly fading away into sleep so we should really log off. Otherwise we are gonna sleep in."
"....even though I've literally never done that before......." the second message seems like a low key joke, Shiko giggles
Shiko: "Y-yea...Good Night I guess..?" She takes a deep breath
"^~^"
She lets out a slight sigh of relief
Kuro: "G'night..."
They both log off and put their phones on their nightstand tables
Kuro gets in his bed and looks at the ceiling
Kuro: "Was I being too talkative? I've never had a friend that I could so easily interact with... Heck I've never even had a close friend that was a girl before.. I'm supposed to treat her the same way I'd treat any friend right..? I guess.." he sighs
"Whatever... I'm too tired to think anything.." he closes his eyes to at least try falling asleep
-At that point in Shiko's room-
She gets up from her now ruffled bed and looks in the mirror on her closet door at her white jeans at Kuro's fave black shirt from Freshman year that he tied in a knot and opened the shoulders of
Shiko: Heh....... I thought he was gonna be really mean...... but he turned out pretty nice, stylish and even sensitive... she giggles a little and looks at herself in real life, not in the mirror. She sighs.
I... suppose I'm gonna wear this tomorrow again..? After all, I don't have anything... and nobody besides Kurosaki-Kun, Haruka-kun and the Council Members saw it anyways.
She starts taking them of to get in the bed
Not that it would matter... I want to get as little attention as possible... she somehow finds a small sleeping gown-like comfy dress in the very very back of the closet and wears that. She puts the jeans and Kuro's shirt on the back of her desk chair. She gets in the bed while standing straight and looks out of the window at the stars
Oh my dearest sister... I can't wait to see you when it's the weekend... I've got a lot to tell you in such little time...... she puts her hand on the side of the window and looks at the brightest star she sees
Your big sis actually made a friend... I hope you can meet him one day... who knows, maybe he can be your friend too!~ she speaks in a calm and sweet tone as if she really is speaking to her sister and takes a breather. She lays in the bed properly and slowly falls asleep while looking at the stars from where she's laying. She starts having a dream
