Bell rings and most people in the dorm wake up with the ear piercingly annoying student council, Zero's voice
Zero in Speakers: Wakey Wakey Sleepyheads!! Get back on your ass and go eat some shiz before school starts! Don't be late to class and kick a few asses on your way down he giggles evilly like it's a joke and closes the speaker
Kurosaki wakes up, obviously annoyed and starts getting ready while Haru doesn't even give a damn while sleeping
-In the meantime, in front of Shiko's room-
Nagisa and her Two friends that follow her like her tail are looking at Shiko's door. Nagisa is wearing a very pretty pastel light orange dress that looks nothing like her dress from yesterday. Clearly stating that Shiko would never wear this.
She starts messing with the lock on the door as well as the sides of the door.
(Both her friends are foreign. One is blond and her name is Erika and the other is a brunette named Lucy.)
Erika: You are so clever Nagisa!!~ She is a wimp anyway! She'll waste at least and hour trying to open the door! giggles
Lucy: Yea! If she does get it open, she'll be sweaty the entire day! If she doesn't, she'll just be one more day absent!~ high fives Erika and giggles
Nagisa finishes messing with the door, looks at it with pride and smirks like an evil genius
Nagisa: Heh, Oh please! She'll probably be too scared to even call for help! Or even if she does, she'll just be squeaking like a mouse and nobody would hear!~ She says as she's smiling like a complete psycho
Erika: Hmmm... Can't she call anyone from her phone tho?
Lucy: Damn it! That's true! We should have done something to her phone! Ughh... facepalms
Nagisa: Idiots. Turns to the other girls
You really think she has anybody to call? Who would she? Her family don't give a damn about her and she has no friends!~ giggles like a bitch and does a hair flip
Our job- I'm sorry. My job here is done~ smiles innocently and walks down the stairs with the other two girls right behind her, mumbling compliments to Nagisa and insults to themselves
More students start leaving the area and going down to eat.
Kuro is trying to convince Haru to wake up in their room but gives up after some time passes.
Shiko wakes up and looks at her phone to check the time and her eyes open with shock
Shiko: A-ah! No! I'm gonna be late! How did I possibly sleep through the announcement!! She quickly gets out of her bed, makes it as quickly as she can and changes into very similar clothes from yesterday.
She gets her pre-prepared school bag and rushes to the door, she tries to open it
The door doesn't budge
Shiko: H-Huh!? What!? No...No! Not now! She keeps trying to open the door but after having no success, she starts hitting it
I-is anyone there? She yells, she is trying to be heard clearly but is still pretty silent compared to a yell, she slowly falls to her knees
Someone...help...! Her eyes gets teary as she keeps hitting the door as hard as she can
Kurosaki is walking down to stairs at that point by coincidence and hears the light banging, he first looks at the corridor, then at Shiko's door which is practically in front of the stairs
Kuro: "I've got a feeling I know what's going on..." he sighs and gets in front of Shiko's door. He knocks.
Shiko: hears the knock and stand up immediately with shock
I-is anyone there..? Please! I can't open the door... she says in a normal speaking voice with her last bit of hope
Kuro: Stand back.
Shiko: H-Hm..? She gets back a little
Umm... Okay..?
Kuro gets a little back and jumps towards the door with complete force, opening and even slamming the door on the other side, Shiko then recognizes him and her eyes widen.
Shiko: Y-You! You're the guy from yesterday..I- she's suddenly puts her hands up to her mouth, silencing herself. She lightly blushes with surprise that she even opened her mouth
Kuro: Yea, Your welcome. Smirks
Shiko- I...am sorry for being rude... she lowers her hands down and silently looks at the floor
Kuro's face changes to a blank expression
Kuro: Why do you do that?
Shiko: H-hm.......? She keeps looking at the ground silently
Kuro: I mean, i don't even know you but I've already realized that you try to talk as little as possible. When you feel like you are going to, you look down. You also do that when you don't talk at all. Why do you do that? Keeps looking blankly with no expression. He looks kinda cute when you think about it.
Shiko: slowly lifts her head up.
nothing good even comes from me talking... I would end up being in the wrong anyway... or I'd make a fool out of myself... or I simply would make people mad... she says very, very, quietly while averting her eyes
Kuro: Wooow cool sound affect. If I didn't have good ears, there would be no way I could hear you! Ruffles his hair
Shiko: H-hm? Looks back at Kuro
"Why is he acting so odd... this isn't how people usually act is it? He's actually talking to me... like we are the same... like we are friends..! i think... even tho I don't even know he is! He.... he must want something of me for later... this isn't any way to treat me... I am going to be used.... I'm going to be tricked... he's toying with me... he... he..." all of her thoughts suddenly stop as Kuro puts his hand on top ok Shiko's head, she lightly Blushes
Kuro: Hey, you're starring lightly smiles and lifts his hand up
Shiko: I.... I'm sorry... I didn't meant to.. I just.. she looks at her alarm clock with the corner of her eye and panics for a sec
I... Um, We... are going to be late! She actually looks at Kuro and speaks with a normal tone
Kuro: looks at the alarm clock
Well, I suppose so, we must leave steps out of the room
Shiko: gets out and quickly locks the door
Umm... is the door gonna be okay..?
Kuro: No worries, Problem clearly was that the door was messed with by someone. It was only temporary and you could have also opened it if you kept trying to. It's probably okay now. Puts his hands in his pockets
Shiko: looks at the door
"well, It's surely gonna be messed with again soon anyway... I can only assume who out of many of my bullies would do this..."
Kuro: Nagisa, of course..
Shiko: gets startled and looks at Kuro H-hm? Was I just... speaking out loud? She questions herself
Kuro: Nope, I only guessed giggles
She was probably pissed after the thing that happened yesterday. She'd do something to me too if she could rolls eyes with a veeeery slight smirk
Shiko: "This is definitely not normal... no guy I've ever known would act like this..."
Umm... We should probably leave before food runs out, I'm only assuming you're heading that way because it's early... but...
Kuro cuts Shiko off
Kuro: Yup, Let's go.
They both head to the stairs, Kuro sits on the handrails and slides down half the way
Shiko: H-Hm? She gets surprised by his action, yet she smiles.
"I suppose he is a guy after all, or maybe just a boy..." giggles silently
Kuro: looks at Shiko
You coming Ghost Girl? Smirks
Why not try sliding your way along?
Shiko blushes slightly
Shiko: Huh? Y-you want me to do that? I can't possibly.. she looks at the handrails
Kuro: Can you not? Or do you just not know if you can?
Shiko hesitates but gives it a try and slides, she gets scared on the way and her skirt flips a little, her face gets red as she holds her skirt down and almost falls. Kuro holds her last second, so she doesn't.
Kuro: Well... that, wasn't too bad for a first try? But maybe not such a great idea to do stuff you aren't used to. Nobody needs injuries on the first day of school.. smiles slightly
Shiko: "He must have seen, he must have seen, he must have seen something.. I... I hate this part about dresses..."
She looks at Kuro's smile
You... really smile a lot... for a guy... she says silently
Kuro: And you really talk a lot for a girl who didn't utter a word two minutes ago.. smirks
Shiko: her face gets completely red, she averts her eyes and says
We are really late... I'm going ahead...! She quickly starts going down the stairs
Kuro: looks from behind her and speeds his own pace going down as well, he looks at his phone and starts writing things in his phone notes. He thinks;
"Odd girl... How worse socially could she have been last year that I practically didn't see her?"
They both enter the cafeteria a few minutes apart, it's around 7:45AM
For food, the girls all get a nicely seasoned omelette made with four egg whites. for sides; some broccoli, very little cheese and some cherry tomatoes.
Guys all get an omlette made with two or three full eggs. For sides; some sausage if they want, as much broccoli as they want and some regular size tomatoes.
Clearly in this school; even the food Is different for gender stereotype reasons.
Egg white omelettes are completely done, Shiko only gets a little broccoli and three cherry tomatoes. She heads to a corner table so the main bully trio don't see her. Kuro sees that and gets all of the food he needs to, plus an extra two egg omlette.
Haru runs in the Cafeteria and Catches up to Kuro.
Haru: Man! I gotta break this habit of not waking up when you tell me to! He puts his hand on Kuro's shoulder, out of breath.
You got out so Early tho... how did I even catch up to you..?
Kuro looks at Haru's rushed get up. He looks like he put on the clothes from last nights announcement event and just changed the jacket
Kuro: Who knows? Looks like you really tried had hard to anyway. He says, making fun of Haru, he giggles a little annoyingly
Haru tries to hit Kuro's head but Kuro Catches Haru's Hand swiftly with a smirk
Kuro: Don't mess around and get your food. We may sit with a ghost today. Points at Shiko with his head
Haru looks that way and smirks at Kuro
Haru: I'm telling you!~ You are definitely going to fall for her! Slightly shakes Kuro
Kuro: looks at Haru seriously and sighs at his derpy expression
No. She is simply a victim to this cruel system. I just feel bad for her.
Haru: Ohhh! It's Pity!~ smirks
Kuro: hits Haru's head
Just get your food and come. Walks towards Shiko's table, leaving Haru behind
Shiko hasn't even touched her plate yet. She's just staring at her plate and doesn't even notice Kuro coming up. He stands next to the seat right in front of her.
Kuro: Is this table taken or can we sit here with my friend? Looks at Shiko and snaps her out of thoughts as he starts talking
Shiko snaps out of it and looks at at Kuro
Shiko: Oh... sure... she stands up
Kuro: Oh no, no. You can stay. He says with a blank expression. Not giving it much thought.
Shiko gets a little suprised but nods with silence and sits back down. Kuro sits in front of her and puts one of the omlettes and one of his two sausages on Shiko's plate. Shiko looks at Kuro, Confused.
Shiko: Why... did you do that..? She says still kinda silently
Kuro: Well, whats on your plate wasn't gonna last you more than an hour. You're a growing teen. You have to eat more then just some broccoli and tomatoes. Which you don't look that interested in as I see..? He points at Shiko's plate
Shiko: But... this food... is meant for guys... I don't even remember the last time I had a real omelette anyway. It would be best not to recall the taste... or I might like it... she says, hesitantly
Kuro: What if you like it? The food is given according to gender here unfortunately, yea... But nothing is really stopping you from getting the other gender's food. Nobody would even care enough to stop you.. giggles slightly and rolls his eyes
Shiko: looks at the plate
But won't that get me in trouble...? Won't they make fun of me...? The food must be set like it is for a reason... I wouldn't want to disobey.. her voice gets more and more silent slowly
Kuro: "Hmm... disobey..?" Looks at her eyes
Hey, I'm going to hit the side of your head lightly in three seconds. Stop me.
Shiko: Opens her eyes wide H-hm? Before she says anything, Kuro quickly moves his hand but Shiko catches it in the air just before it hits her, even Shiko is surprised, Kuro smirks and takes his hand back
Kuro: Like I thought. You are pretty aware. Your reflexes are also pretty good. You could protect yourself if you wanted. Shiko looks back at him, confused
Shiko: Why did you... do that..?
Kuro: points at Shiko's plate
Eat.. smiles lightly
Shiko looks at her different plate. She takes a bite, her eyes light up for a second and she starts eating while finally enjoying herself.
Nagisa and the girls finally notice Shiko from the corner, Nagisa's face turns from rage to surprise and to a smirk in seconds. She whispers something in Lucy's ear and gives her; her phone. Starts watching Lucy do what she assigned her to do.
Haru joins Kuro and Shiko, he sits next to Kuro
Haru: Heyyy! Ghost girl! Smiles like an idiot
Shiko looks at Haru silently and averts her eyes to Kuro
Shiko: H-hm.....? That makes it two.. Is that really something people call me.....? She says very silently
Haru: Wha? Wha now? Could you repeat that? Ruffles the back of his hair and smiles like a goof
Kuro looks at Shiko and silently nods
Kuro: Do excuse my idiotic friend. He doesn't know how to interact with humans.. rolls his eyes with a very slight smile
Haru: Puffs his face at Kuro
Hey! The characters in my dating sims are plenty human enough! They taught me my wayyyys~ He says, sounding proud of himself and starts eating his own plate with pleasure
Kuro is eating slowly and silently, he sighs
Kuro: Well, What he MEANTÂ to say was that his name is Haruka and he is nice to meat you!~. Smiles annoyingly and hits Haru's face in his plate
Haru: gets up H-hey!
Shiko starts giggling cutely in a normal voice, her eyes are closed
Both Haru and Kuro get surprised for a sec and look at Shiko silently
Shiko opens her eyes, realizes them staring, suddenly gets red and covers her face with embarrassment.
Haru: Wow... I didn't think you had it in you to smile... but giggle too? So you are alive, Ghost girl!~ his eyes lit up with excitement
Kuro hits Haru's head again
Kuro: Of course she's alive you idiot! Rolls his eyes
Haru: Tch... stop hitting me, I'm just bored... returns to eating his breakfast after wiping his face
Kuro: What were you even laughing about? Looks at Shiko
Shiko opens her face hesitantly
Shiko: It's just that... I've never seen real friends like you two... People usually just use or bully eachother.
I thought it was... cute? Slightly smiles, still kinda blushing
Haru: He does bully me! Save me Shiko-Chan~ he mumbles cutely
Kuro: Oh Shush, look who's talking... Don't make me smack you again.. looks as Haru like he's bored of his bullshit
Shiko: "Wait..."
H-Haruka-kun... You, know my name..?
Haru looks at Shiko and nods with agreement, confused
Haru: I was the one who told Mr. Curious who you were points at Kuro with his head and smirks a little
Shiko looks at Kuro, hesitant to say something
Shiko: Um... I'm sorry... I just.. looks down
Kuro: Don't bore me with this looking down thing please. I don't want to get under the table just to see your face. Smirks
Shiko lifts her head, slightly blushing of light embarrassment
Shiko: It's just that, you saved me twice since yesterday... but I don't even know your name technically... I did hear Nagisa-San call you something before... but...- Kuro cuts Shiko off
Kuro: It's Kurosaki. Nice you to meet you properly Shiko-Chan. Smiles slightly
Shiko blushes after hearing both of them say her name, it's different for her. She's simply not used to it.
Shiko: Y-you both... are weird... she says kinda silently
Both Kuro and Haru: Hm? They look at Shiko confused with a blank yet cute faces
Shiko: Oh dear.. don't do that... facepalms slowly and opens her face to look at the two
"They don't feel like people who would bully me but they do seem, off..."
I just think that you two wouldn't really...- Shiko gets cut off when a few Sophomores approach the table, two girls and a slim guy. They approach Haru.
Haru finishes his plate and faces them, still sitting down.
Kuro first looks at Shiko and then at the students with the corner of his eyes.
Shiko looks at them silently, confused.
The students are holding few Notebooks and Study Books
Haru's whole aura changes and becomes a slightly more suffocating, dark and scary one rather than his cheerful self.
Haru: Oh, You're back, my pets. He smirks, looking at the sophomores, smirking like a devil
Shiko's eyes widen
Shiko- "H-hm...........?"
