The two girls look at Shiko, Lucy giggles slightly with mockery and starts going on her phone
Erika gets down from in front of the Mirror and smiles at Shiko innocently
Erika: Would it be okay if we did a small Q&A thing with you Shiko-Chan?~ she says cutely with a big "fake" smile
Shiko: N-no.... she says silently and hesitantly, both the girls look surprised, Lucy looks at her with wide eyes for a sec but then turns back to her phone. Erika looks kinda panicked as if she's trying to think of what to do next. Lucy sighs.
Lucy: And why not? You don't even know what the questions are. They won't harm you. She says without looking. Shiko looks down.
Shiko: I.... don't have to put up with this... she looks at Erika
You looked at me with disgust 40 minutes ago and now you're just smiling.... Why me anyway? Can't you do whatever it is you're doing with someone else....? She says silently and gulps, looking back at the ground. Erika was trying to hold her smile but she suddenly breaks and speaks loudly
Erika: SINCE WHEN DO YOU TALK SO MUCH YOU LITTLE- just before she slaps her, Shiko actually blocks with her two arms, even she is surprised and her eyes widen
Shiko: "I.... I did it! I actually did it as a reflex!! How the heck did I even...." she gulps and looks into Erika's eyes, kinda scared of what her reaction will be
Erika silently takes her hand down, surprised yet looking defeated and annoyed, she sits at where she previously was sitting
Erika: Lucy... deal with this please, I was caught off guard. No smile is no fun.. she starts looking at her phone, Lucy gives Erika her phone and gets down from where she's sitting, she forces a small smile
Lucy: Look Shiko, I know we don't have the BEST relationship with eachother. But we ask you to cooperate. You won't have to answer anything you don't want to. She looks into her eyes, seriously. She clenches her teeth.
Please. She says, forcing herself. Shiko reaaaally doesn't want to but she silently nods
Shiko: "I don't like this... but she's forcing herself so much to say please... I'm not like them, I have to show empathy like Kuro said...?"
Lucy leans her back on a wall, pointing at Shiko to sit in front of her at a small chair she's looking at, Shiko silently sits and waits for Lucy to speak
Lucy: Now first question, What in a person would you find disgusting? Also I ask of you to answer in a way that I can hear, my ears are real bad lately. She smirks very slightly, Shiko silently thinks a little
Shiko: Umm... Something disgusting? Well... I guess something is the lack of empathy or if someone is too controlling? Maybe... being a pervert..? She says, trying her best to be heard
Lucy: Great! Now question two, What are some things that you think is manly? Smiles as if she's innocently gossiping, Shiko again thinks a while
Shiko: Um.... I don't know..? Everyone can do everything in my opinion.. she says kinda hesitantly, Lucy sighs
Lucy: But if you had to pick!!!~ she says with a shakey annoyed yet playful voice
Shiko: U-umm... maybe wrestling? That seems manly I guess?? Since it needs lots of strength and not many girls try to have that in this society.....? She says, trying to be heard but not too sure of herself
Lucy: Okkeee, next question! What do you think of Kurosaki-Kun!~
Shiko: W-What?? Why...? How will this help with any thing of yours... she says hesitantly
Lucy: This question is just for fun~ just answer okayyy?~
Shiko: B-but... she thinks a little and sighs thinking they won't leave her alone without some "gossip"
W-well... I guess....... he is different. He doesn't feel like the majority of people in this school for many reasons... Erika also starts listening and looks in their direction. Shiko looks at the ground.
He seems lonely... he doesn't seem to mind that but that's not what he deserves... he befriended me even if I was a loser.. he's also pretty deep and poetic... even tho I've only known him for like two days... she says hesitantly and looks at Lucy slowly, realizing she accidentally smiled slightly
I-is that enough.....? Lucy shakes her head no
B-but I wanna stop... she gets up, Lucy sits her back down from her shoulders
Lucy: Okay okay! Stay, I'll just go to another question. What is something you hate? Shiko looks at her a little confused and getting slightly uncomfortable
Shiko: Ummm... hate? I don't want to... give more pawns to you guys's hands anymore... she says really silently and looks down, Erika gets annoyed and almost charges at her again but Lucy stops her with her arms before Shiko notices
Lucy: Fair enough. Then could you please slowly say the alphabet? Smiles innocently
Shiko: H-Huh? Really.... why..? I don't like this... she tries getting up again, Lucy stops her
Lucy: Come on!!!!~ she keeps forcing a smile and holding her from her shoulders, tighter, while she's standing
Shiko: N-No! I shouldn't have "helped" in the first place! E-excuse me... she somehow escapes Lucy's grasp and gets out of the changing room in a hurry
Lucy looks at Erika and they both smirk slightly
Erika: Well, I'm sure we can make something with what we have? She gives Lucy back her phone, Lucy takes it and looks at the door
Lucy: This should be enough for Nagisa for just a while with all we've had so far. Let's go.. they both get out from a different exit of the room (different from the one Shiko got out of)
Shiko gets back in the conference hall, kinda out of breath and stressed, there are already many students inside, she looks at Kuro who is already looking in her direction and gets back to his side. She sits next to him and sighs a little, kinda tired. Kuro looks at her.
Kuro: Took you long enough. What even were you doing..? He says, kinda suspicious that she's getting herself into trouble
Shiko: N-Nothing really... just doing some weird quiz thing. I even don't get why.. Kuro looks at her kinda confused and shucks his shoulders. they both look at the stage.
Around 10 minutes later; practically every single student and teacher is in the conference hall, the lights slowly turn off, few kids push a small and familiar couch on the stage and return backstage, Haru is late but makes it JUST in time and just sits on a seat in the very front row on the very side
Student Council President Zero and Vice President Yami(!) both walk on stage from backstage slowly, Vice Pres Yami is wearing a kind of weird collar on his neck as well as two similar things on his wrists. He slowly sits on his couch, the same couch of the one in the Council room. All of the students start talking to eachother when they see Yami. Some of them seeing him for the first time. Kuro sighs as Shiko looks at Yami, terrified.
Shiko: W-What are those things he's wearing...? She whispers to Kuro hesitantly
Kuro: Ugh... they are to shock him if he acts too out of line. Electro-Coller and bracelets. It's not his "hours" to get out the room. He rubs the side of his head like he's got a headache
Shiko: W-What? Isn't that a little extra.......? She says very silently, Kuro simply shakes his head no
President Zero gets in front of the Mic and silences the room with a few taps, Yami just looks at Zero and some notes in front of him.
Zero: Helloooo fellow students! Great job of you all for be here and not get expelled!~ Soooo I'm sure you ALL are exited for our two announcements!~ he smirks kinda evilly
Many of you may not know him but on my side is our school's Vice President Yami Akumu. He is first gonna tell y'all the little addition in our perfect system which is improving EVERY DAY!~ Then I'm gonna give a special announcement of a task to many of you. Now I leave the mic to our Vice Pres!~ he speaks in an overly enthusiastic, annoying get mischievous tone and stands a few steps to the side, calling Yami over.
Yami gets up and slowly gets in front of the mic, looking all across the huge hall with his dark and scary eyes. Students can already feel sorta heavy just from being in the same room as him and nobody makes a single sound as if they are holding their breaths.
Kuro glances at Shiko who looks kinda stressed out her eyes stuck on the stage like many of the students. He puts his hand on Shiko's arm, making her look his way, Shiko looks at him, almost about to tear up, he lip syncs the words "Stay calm" and faces back at the stage, letting go of Shiko's arm, Shiko gulps, takes a deep breath and looks back on stage. Yami slowly starts talking and his extremely deep voice which completely covers the room as it echoes through the speakers
Yami: Starting from Monday next week, Small or big every single bullying event will be tracked. Zero opens a student chart like thing on the projection behind Yami
Everyone will get points from the times they bully. You do not have to change anything that you do, not bullying will just keep you on the lower ranks. Top ranked bullys don't gain anything, but spread the knowledge that they are to be feard. Male and Female students will have separate lists and with the ranks it will be eaisier to know who to and not to mess with. The student names appear on the list
This is just a basic list that will change starting Monday next week. The list will be updated every week and displayed on around the middle of each school floor corridor. He keeps speaking in a low and monotone voice, sounding serious and not missing a word of what he's supposed to say
Grades won't be impacted at all from this list but don't take it lightly. Depending on where you are on this list, he glances at Pres Zero for a sec
You may or may not get more respect.
He looks back at the students
Any questions?. He says, as if he's staring into everyone's souls, making it hard to breath in the room
Kuro lifts his hand, many students look at him surprised and start whispering to eachother. Zero sighs as Shiko's eyes completely widen, stress filling up her entire body. A light hits to where they are sitting
Shiko: "W-What is he doing..!?" She covers her mouth and looks down
Yami: What?. He looks deep into Kuro's eyes with the same blank expression, speaking in that deep tone of his. Kuro stands up.
Kuro: So when you are saying that this list won't affect grades, position or anything in that matter; Why are you even telling us about it then? Or what's the point of it? Getting Respect my ass. Don't you guys just want to stir up some ruckus, trying to make the bully rate go up for the sake of shining up that perfect system of yours? He smirks a little, few students gasp which is very lightly heard
Yami smirks slightly and opens up his small-ish eyes a little more. he takes the mic in his hand and walks a little closer to the edge of the stage. His smirk makes it feel as if all the students insides fill up with lava if they look at him; he isn't doing anything but he makes everyone feel as if they are in danger. His deep voice, echoing through people's heads.
Yami: Smart thinking. But this list may come in handy someday. He psychotically smiles as if he's about to murder him, few students even start feeling a little sick.
Now try to find another question which could follow after a sly and useless answer like mine. Kuro smirks and sits down as the lights pointing at that area turns off. Yami gets back to where he was first standing and puts the mic back on the stand. His expression completely disappears again, turning into that usual heavy one.
Shiko looks at Kuro, about to cry
Shiko: What was that!?!???? She whispers to him, confused and scared to death. Kuro looks at her and smiles, actually innocently
Kuro: Heh, I was curious of his answer~ he whispers back in a tone only Shiko can hear and giggles very slightly. Then he sighs.
He got me. That answer really was useless... he rolls his eyes with a light smile as if he's joking around
Shiko: D-Didn't you tell me not to get near him? Why are you messing with him...? She whispers hesitantly
Kuro: Don't worry. He's in a dog's position right now.. now let's pay attention to the rest. We'll talk about all this later.. he whispers back, Shiko slowly nods and they both look on stage
Yami: If anybody harms or takes the list off of the walls, they will be expelled. If anybody tries writing anything on the lists, they will be expelled. If anyone hacks to change the list in any kind of way, they won't only be expelled but punished painfully. Just hearing him utter the word "pain" gives most of students goosebumps and sends shivers down their spines.
That's all. He finally adds in his usual deep and monotone voice before going to his small couch and sitting down again.
President Zero comes in front of the mic again and smiles as if he's watching toys crumble into pieces while looking at all the stressed students
Zero: Wow that was breathtaking!!~ he winks
What a nice new addition this list is! Am I right?~ he says, looking down on everyone and moves on after a few seconds
As for my announcement; Every Wednesday from now on, We all will gather here in the first two lessons and review some students's bullying acts. Meaning; by will, people will come up on stage and tell us about the worst bullying they've done since the previous week.
Unlike the list; if you do this, you will get extra performance points. If your performance average from in class activities is lowering your total school average; by reviewing yourself here, you can improve your total.
Again, this isn't a must for everyone but it will greatly help some of you slackers. He smirks looking around the room
This isn't just to make bullying rates go up. After all, we never technically force people to bully! We just don't mind it when you do.~ He giggles as if he's playing a huge messed up game. Kuro clenches his teeth, Shiko looks terrified
Shiko: "W-What good will this even do!? It will in fact only affect the bully rate!!"
Kuro: "That son of a... he's toying with us! He knows exactly what he's doing."
Zero: Normally, it will only be on Wednesday's but we don't expect anyone to go crazy in one day. Therefor, tomorrow you just have to attend. A small group has an example in preparation which they are gonna review for you tomorrow. He first smirks but then that turns into a fake ass "innocent" smile
If you miss any of the gatherings unless you are absent; you will be suspended for a period of time depending on your reasoning. If you do have a valid excuse, you must come to the student council room yourself and tell us. He suddenly looks at the room like he's looking at crushed bugs and speaks seriously.
that is, if you dare. He doesn't say anything for a few seconds as some Students gulp. He then smirks and claps his hands quickly twice which makes the lights come back on in the entire council hall. Of course he isn't the one who did it but he was the one to command the light guy to open them up. After they open, he starts looking at his small blue ring. He smirks. Kuro looks at Zero's ring.
Kuro: "Something to remember." He sighs
Shiko: "There is still about half an hour or so left... why the extra time? Was this really all they are gonna day.....? Is something wrong?" She gulps, getting kinda stressed
Zero: Now, the reasoning for the extra time; you are all... there is silence for a few seconds making people stressed
FREE, for the day!~ he giggles as if he's fooled everyone
I mean it's just 30 or 40 minutes of extra free time. In the mean time, you can do whatever you want. If you want, you can even put the knowledge you just learned into use. Up to you. He smirks
Oh! I just remembered an interesting idea!~ he picks the mic up and walks closer to the end of the stage, he looks at all the students and points at Yami with his hand for a few seconds.
Those bracelets and the special collar MAY be added as a must on every student in the future. Just a possibility that we are still thinking about. It is especially designed and will electrocute the people who act unacceptably. He giggles slightly like a madman
You may be thinking, what would be unacceptable in this perrrfect school.
Well, honestly we don't know that either yet. He giggles
Heh, I guess the only thing right now would be to fall on wrong ends with the student council. He smirks
For example; he turns to Yami and calls him over with one finger, Yami gets up and gets a few steps away in front of him. They are standing Paralel to the stage.
Vice President Yami-San. Would you be a dear and attack me so people will see what would happen?~ he smirks, Yami silently nods and takes a slight fighting position about to charge. Practically all the students open their eyes wide.
Shiko: "W-What!? Just for an example!?!?? That thing must be fake!" She looks at Kuro and gets surprised to see he doesn't look surprised, but mad.
Kuro: Tch.
Shiko: T-this isn't real right? It wouldn't work....? Why would President Zero-San electrocute the only person he trusts...? H-he isn't actually gonna do this is he.??? She says with panic, whispering and confused
Kuro: Ugh. You think he would do all this just for talk?. You may be underestimating them both. He says, not taking his eyes of of the stage, pissed. Shiko's eyes kinda get teary for a sec and she Immediately looks back on stage, falling silent
Vice President Yami suddenly charges on Zero and attacks him, keeping his cool and staying silent. Just before he is about to hit him, his bracelets stay still but his collar activates to give him visible electrocution. He stops in his place and starts lightly twitching and...vibrating? He doesn't scream or make a sound. His eyes don't even flinch, he just opens them slightly wider. you can see that he's clenches his teeth and some of the electric is even visible. Kuro first looks at Zero's hand and then back at Yami. Around half of the entire school screams a bit before covering their mouths.
The shock stops after around 30 seconds and Yami drops to his knees without even blinking, still with the same expression yet looking more tired now.. Shiko can't help but silently start to cry, shocked as tears slide down her cheeks
Shiko: "This.... this is too cruel.."
A slight scent of burned flesh gets noticed in the few front rows of the seats, people are still gasping and covering their mouths with their hands, just like Shiko. Zero walks right next to Yami and looks at the students with an innocent smile
Zero: As you all see, it's very affective even on our beloved monstrosity over here~ he tries to put his hand on Zero's shoulder but gets slightly zapped so he takes it away with a slight giggle. Yami is still standing in place with the same expression.
Yami: I think we've made our point. Can I just leave now?. He says, his deep voice sending shivers down the students who could hear him that are sitting in the front few rows. Zero looks at him, closes the mic and smiles a little more properly.
Zero: Of course!~ You can get up. We'll be done as soon as we send these insects away. He says innocently and opens the mic back on. He looks at all the students again.
Yami gets up, stands silently for a few seconds and bends his head left and right a couple of times. his neck makes cracking noises but he simply silently goes back to sit on his small couch.
Zero smirks and starts speaking enthusiastically as he talks in the mic at all the students
Zero: Remember everyone, this isn't certain to be added. But if it does get added, you won't have a choice to wear them~ his smirk is glowing with mischief and excitement
Also don't even think about if your parents gave permission or not.
They sent you to this school for one of two reasons.
1; They want you all to understand and prepare yourselves for the cruelty of the real world.
And 2; The school is one of the cheapest in Japan and gives just enough education for any university or job if you work hard enough for it. He crosses his arms all knowingly
And if you are here because of the second reason; That's just proof that your parents are a part of the cruel world that we teach you to live in. He shortly giggles like a mad man and keeps speaking with that annoying smirk
Think about that the next time you see them. He puts the mic back in its stand
You all are free to go. For now. He winks annoyingly and closes the mic before going over to talk to Yami.
The students slowly start getting up and leaving the room. Nagisa, Lucy and Erika smirk at Shiko while glancing at her direction as they walk in front of the stage and away from the conference hall. Shiko lifts her legs up while in her seat and shoves her face in them.
Shiko: "I...am gonna wait until everyone leaves........" she wipes her tears a little with her hands
Kuro slowly looks at Shiko with a
Blank expression
Kuro: You okay..? He says calmly, Shiko hesitantly lifts her head up to look at him. She's now stopped crying.
Shiko: H-how can you be so calm at a time like this......? She says silently as her voice slightly shakes, Kuro just shucks his shoulders like nothings wrong
Kuro: Meh, I've seen worse. Plus they made some exaggerations don't you think? Shiko looks confused, she puts her legs down and properly looks at him
Shiko: What... do you mean? She says hesitantly, Kuro sighs and calmly speaks
Kuro: Because of stressing out, you probably didn't realize but the bracelets didn't give any kind of electrocution and the collar didn't activate automatically because Yami charged at Zero either. Zero himself activated it from the button ring he's wearing to show what damage the coller can do to students. He was just trying to scare everyone more than necessary to make them feel like if they had the collar, it would automatically respond to attacks on the SC. I assume both of them would just wear the rings all the time so nobody got suspicious of the collars being less then what people fear it to be. He says calmly as if everything is so clear to him, Shiko looks confused and surprised. Kuro smirks slightly after realizing this.
Shiko: H-how did you even....?- she shakes her head to both sides
T-That's not important.. Isn't this still too cruel?? I thought they got along... she takes a short breather
Also how did the Vice President not even scream...? She adds silently
Kuro: Heh, that guy is more of a monster than you think. Shiko and Kuro are the only students left in the hall Exept Yami and Zero. Zero finishes talking to Yami and nods at him. He walks away and out the conference hall. Yami looks at Shiko and Kuro. He gets down from stage and in front of the row they are in, looking at both of them with that same death stare, Shiko looks at him and gulps. Kuro gets up, Shiko looks at Kuro and follows him thinking they are getting out of there. But instead Kuro walks through the front seating row and gets in front of Yami, Shiko practically hides behind him, terrified.
Shiko: "W-What the hell is he doing!????"
Shiko can practicality feel her body getting heavier just by being so near Vice Pres Yami again. Kuro is looking at him with a blank expression which makes the air even more unbearable.
U-Ummm Kuro-Kun.... Aren't we gonna leave...? She says very silent and verrry hesitantly but before Kuro can answer anything,
Yami: Can you take this off?. He says in that deeeeeep ass voice without changing his dead dark expression, pointing at his collar
Kuro: Sure. Turn around, I'll give it a shot. He says with a serious tone as if he's doing business, Shiko looks really damn confused and scared to death. She's just hiding behind Kuro's arm silently. Yami turns around and Kuro checks the back of the collar before finally getting it undone after a minute or so. He takes it off.
There is a very visible red burn mark on his neck. It looks like it'll take a few weeks before getting better if treated well but looks really painful. Shiko takes a deep breath and hesitantly comes out from behind Kuro. She stands next to him and stares at the floor. Feeling stress take over her body and warm it up. Yami turns back around, takes the collar and hold out his wrists.
Yami: Can you activate?. He says with the same expression
Kuro: Yea sure but why? Why are you even putting up with this? He says with a bland expression that just makes it look like he's bored. He speaks in a calm and casual voice as he starts picking at the bracelets. Shiko is still thrown off with surprise but she gulps and lifts her head up at least enough to see Yami's wrists, being careful not to look in his eyes.
Yami: These are trackers. So I go back in the room. That's why I'm allowed here right now. They don't really electrocute. He says, not really looking. From his voice you can tell that he couldn't care less.
Kuro: Yea but doesn't answer my question. Why do you even put up with this?. he says seriously with a blank expression and gets a very small green light to open up in both the bracelets before taking his hands of. Shiko takes a deep breath and looks at Yami to hear his answer
Yami finally changes his expression slowly and smirks ever so slightly. A smirk that can make people feel as if they are on a death row. A smirk ever so little yet so... terrifying
Yami: It's fun. His deep voice practically echoes in Shiko's ears as she feels like she's gonna fall on the ground from fear. She doesn't know exactly why but she is just terrified of him. Kuro silently nods, like he understands
Kuro: Fair enough.. he looks at Shiko who is lightly shaking with fear. He holds her arm.
We are leaving.. he turns around and starts walking off while holding Shiko's arm. Shiko quickly speeds up too, wanting to get out of there as soon as possible.
They both get out from somewhere other than the door Yami is getting out of. From a door that leads to the opposite side of the floors, near the stairs. They both a take deep breath. Kuro lets go of Shiko's arm. Shiko turns to Kuro, still very confused.
Shiko: I... have many questions....
Why...? How...? She looks down still trying to catch a breather
I felt like I've had a near death experience... she says still spooked, her face LOOKING LIKE she's realized something. Kuro giggles slightly and ruffles Shiko's hair
Kuro: Don't worry. You're not dying anytime soon when I'm around. He giggles a little again, Shiko looks up at him while slightly blushing from his unnecessary giggling
Shiko: T-that's not funny! She looks away which makes Kuro giggle ever so slightly once again
Welp, what do you wanna do now? He smiles lightly as Shiko checks her phone to see the time.
Shiko: Oh... Umm, I guess I have to wait in front of the school doors for my mother and little sister to come bring me a phone charger... I have 20 minutes tho... she looks down in thought, Kuro smiles a little again.
Kuro: Welp, let's get going. We can just wait on the benches. Getting there early is better than making them wait after all. Come on, let's go. Shiko lifts up her head to look at Kuro. She smiles and nods with agreement.
They both slowly start heading outside and in front of the main school gate where they will wait for Shiko's folks to arrive...
