65 Jade Thumb Ring

Vivian knew that she could not hide her strength if she wanted to get to the top quickly. She had to let others see that she was of value.

Jack rubbed his fingers and replied after a long while, “I’ll make a call first, but I can’t guarantee that it’ll work.”

Jack brought Vivian to the door of the study and stood there. “Boss, I’ve brought Ms. Vivian here.”

A middle-aged man was bending over and looking at the painting with a magnifying glass. He looked up when he heard Jack’s voice. “Please come in.”

The man had a very gentle face and did not look aggressive at all. He walked forward with a smile and took the initiative to greet Vivian. “Hello, Ms. Vivian. My name is Fred.”

“Hello, Mr. Fred. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”Vivian said with a smile.

Fred raised his hand and motioned for Vivian to sit on the sofa. “Ms. Vivian, please have a seat and talk.”

Jack poured two glasses of water and left.

Fred exchanged a few pleasantries with Vivian before getting to the point. “I didn’t expect Ms. Vivian to know about antiques in addition to stone gambling.”

Vivian smiled and said, “I like those historical objects very much. Through those things, it’s like I’ve traveled back in time to see how the ancient people lived. I also admire the production technology and aesthetic culture of that time.”
