~Jade's POV~

I successfully make it all the way from the roof, to me and Tobias's apartment with Melody in my arms. I close the door behind me, -leaving it unlocked for my love-, and I notice that Mel fell asleep on my shoulder. I smile and I carefully lay her down in the middle of our bed, and put the covers over her. I tuck her little bear in with her, before taking off and setting down her bag of stuff. I take a peek of what's inside, and I find toys, books, clothes, some food and even little hair clips and bands to do her hair. I close it, and take off my shoes before heading into the kitchen.

I grab a banana just put something in my stomach, before turning the lights out and laying next to Mel. I carefully take out her ponytails, and bows, and set them on my bedside table. She rolls onto her back, and snores a little while I comb out her hair with my hand a bit. I get comfy in the covers with her, and I admire her, before shutting my eyes. This little girl has never been safer in her life, then right here, beside me. I'd kill and-or be killed for this cutie. As would Tobias.

~Tobias's POV~

I stop in front of our apartment door, and pull out my key to unlock it, and I come to find out she left it unlocked for me. I love the thought but, I would've rather had to unlock our door, so they could've been completely safe while I was gone. I step in, and close the door behind me, locking it. I turn on the lights and stop in my tracks at the sight of my girlfriend and baby sister snuggled up together, asleep. Along with Jasper laying at the foot of the bed.

I dim the lights and smile, and I head to the glass dinning table, next to the kitchen. I sit down, and I take one moment. One moment, is all I truly need right now. My mother's alive, I have a beautiful baby sister I had no idea about, and my girlfriend's father wants me to be her husband. I need, just one moment.

I take the tiny velvet box out of my jacket pocket and flip it open again, and I'm faced with a fairly large diamond ring. It was a petite, and twisted vine engagement ring, that twisted all the way to the center, fusing with a one karat, oval shaped diamond. I look back up at my sleeping girlfriend, who of which has no idea of what happened between me and her father. Speaking of which, I have to hurry and make something up, because I know she's gonna ask. I'll just say we had a drink and he told me he was upset, boom, end of story.

There's a lot of gray area there but, I'll know what to say based off what she asks. Planning to lie to her isn't really ideal after getting permission to propose but, I'm lying for the sake of surprise. I want her to be completely surprised when I get down on one knee, and show her this ring. If I tell her the truth, she'll be on her A game, sniffing out clues, trying to see if and when I'm going to do it. And as much as I love her, I don't want that.

I want to see the look on her face, I want to hear the gasp come from her lips, and as well as I know her, I want to see the tears well up in her eyes. I mean, I gave her a puppy and she balled her eyes out on me, what do you think she's gonna do when I propose unexpectedly? And speaking of that, when am I gonna do it? There's no doubt I'm gonna do it, no second thoughts, and no hesitation on my end at all. I'm gonna ask her to be my wife, and there's not a single thing stopping me.

All I have to do now, is think of the right moment, in the right hour, of the right day. A special day, where it'll be just me and her. And then it hits me, September 30th, a little under two months from now. Our one year anniversary. Exactly a year ago on that upcoming day, I kissed this beautiful young lady on my very own balcony, and decided to give her a chance.

A chance to show me differently, to show me love, and loyalty. And she did, just as well as she still does to this day. I know it's pretty soon, given we've only been together a year but, it just, feels right. And as her younger brother said, we're gonna be together for years, so why not just tie this knot now? I smile, and close the tiny box, before standing and heading to our closet.

I hide it in one of my old leather jacket pockets for now, and when I get the chance I'll have my buddy Alexander hold onto it for me. Only because she cannot find it before its time, and something tells me she'll eventually find it if I keep it in this apartment. I shed off the jacket I'm wearing and hang it up before heading to the bed, and taking off my shoes. I walk over to the side Natalie's on, and lean down to kiss both my sister's and girlfriend's forehead's. Right before going back around, and very carefully slip into the big bed next to my snoring little sister, trying my best not to wake her or Natalie. When I see that they're still both asleep, I relax completely, and before I knew it, I was asleep too.

~Jade's POV~

I open my eyes, and sit up rubbing them. I stop and look to the side at the little girl, still sleeping on her stomach with her head to the side. I smile, but, I smile even wider when I see she's laying on someone's arm. I lean over her carefully and kiss Tobias's cheek, and then her cheek as well. I only woke one person up though, and he smiled at me.

I point down at Mel, remembering what today is for her. I rub her back, "Oo Mel-Bell, wake uppp." I say softly, and her eyes flutter open. She yawns and stretches, "Guess what day it iss?" I ask her, and she starts smiling. She sits up and wiggles, "It's my birf-day!" She says, and both me and Tobias start tickling her. She laughs her little head off, and we stop to let her breathe.

"How old are you turning Mellie?" Her brother asks her, and she scratch's her head and counts on her fingers. She puts up all five fingers on one hand, and then one more on the other. This little girl is very smart. And she's actually starting to make me want a baby girl of my own first. I wanted a boy at first, -just like Tobias- but, I'm not so sure now.

"Let's get you dressed yeah? Then after I'll do your hair."I say, picking her up out of the bed, setting her down in front of me and her little bag. She does a little dance while I unzip the bag, and I laugh. I pick out a pink, blue and black dress and I hold them to let her pick. She chooses black, and I help her out her old dress and into her new one. "Now my hair." She says turning around in front of me, I pull her where I need her and part her hair from the center of her forehead and back.

I do two french braids, ending them with these little hairties with bows. I loosen them a bit at each weave of hair. I take her to the bathroom, and lift her up to see her braids. "They're so pretty! How did you do dem?" She asks curiously, I set her down, and tell her my mother got me a little doll for my birthday once, and the doll had long fake hair so, she taught me how to braid. "Where's your mommy at now?" She asks, "Remember when Tobias got off the train to go to Amity last night?" I ask her, she nods.

"Well, that's where. He went to go visit my daddy, I'm sure he ran into my mommy too." I explain, "And speaking of your brother, you wanna go show him your braids?" I ask her and she pulls me out the bathroom. We catch him coming out of the closet, slipping his hand into his pocket. "Look brober, look at my bwaids!" Mel says, and he takes her hand and spins her around. "They're beautiful Mellie. I hate to break it to ya but, they're not at beautiful as the girl who has them," He squats to pick her up, "And the girl who made them." He adds, kissing me once on the lips. "Brober, is Nat-Bat your wife?" Mel-Bell asks, and for some reason, it made Tobias visibly nervous.

"Uhh, no Mellie. She is my girlfriend though. But look," He says, and he takes my hand, and shows her the promise ring he gave me. "This ring right here though, represents a promise I made to her. I promised I'd make her my wife." He tells her, and she smiles. "It's shaped wike a crown." She points out, "Yeah that's right, you wanna know why it's shaped like that?" Tobias asks his sister, and she nods attentively. "It's shaped like that because I want Nat-Bat here, to know that she, is my queen. And that I'd be nothing without her." He says, and I'm touched by his words. "So you wove her?" Mel asks looking at me, and he nods.

"Yes, I love her." He tells Mel, and looking into my eyes. "I love her very much." He adds, tucking a curl behind my ear. Something seems different about him, about the way he talks to me or about me. There's this tinge, of uneasiness. I know him, I know when he's happy, I know when he's upset, and I know when there's something off.

I know this man, probably better than he knows himself. "And I love your brother, more than he loves me." I tell Mel, and she looks at him. "See now that there Mel, is called a lie. There's no way she could love me more than I love her." Tobias says, I roll my eyes. "Don't listen to him Mel-Bell. I don't lie." I tell her, taking her from him. I set her on the bed and hand her pink little bear to her.

I grab some clothes from our closet and head to the shower. Tobias stops me, and pulls me close, "Excuse me mister, I'm trying to take a shower." I say, but he kisses me anyways. I kiss him back, and he starts backing us in the bathroom. He turns on the lights without taking his hands off me and tries to close the door behind us but, I stopped him. "Your sister, remember? We have a responsibility." I tell him, and he pouts, and I kiss him one more time before I push him back out the bathroom so he can keep an eye on Mel.

I close the door and strip down before turning on and hoping in the shower. I finish, and dry off before throwing on the clothes I picked out. Black jean skirt, and a regular muscle shirt. Along with some flats Christina let me borrow, gotta make sure I give these back today. I come out crunching and scrunching my wet curls all the way around and up, making them curlier.

I walk over to the bed, where Tobias sat with his sister next to his lap. He was watching me, "You do that with your hair every time you come out the shower, why?" He asks, and I explain that my curls come out better if I do this. He tells me its cute when I do it, "Your face scrunches up and you stick out your tongue a little when you do the back." He says, I cover my face. I always do that, not just when I do my hair. Miles used to point out when I'd do it back on Amity with him.

When buttoning a jacket, when tying a shoe, when wrapping a present. And if I asked my brother, he could probably remember more times I'd do it back then. I don't realize I'm doing it useless someone points it out. I don't know why I do it but, it just happens. I guess it helps me focus.

"It's adorable really," He says, taking my hands from my face, using them to pull me in front of him. "You look beautiful by the way." He tells me, and I smile. "Thank you. And you sir," I say, catching a whiff of him, I furrow my eyebrows and lean down to smell his neck. "Smell really good. Did you get a new cologne?" I ask, and he nods. "Do you like it?" He asks, and I nod, running my fingers through his hair before smelling him again.

I feel a little bit of slickness between my fingers, "Ooh? You put gel in your hair now?" I ask, and he nods with a smile. I also notice he's wearing this unfamiliar gold chain underneath his shirt. I pull it all the way over, "So this is what you were doing while I was in the shower. Freshening up and shit, who exactly are you trying to impress Tobias?" I ask him playfully. He laughs, "You of course. I just decided I'd give this look a try. What's wrong with that?" He asks me, and he gives me this look with his eyes. And I notice they're not as brown today, they're more of a deep honey shade.

I get closer to him, stepping in between his legs as he sat at the foot of the bed. Mel crawls a little ways away near our pillows to get her little bear. I put my hands at the back of his neck and I tug his hair to get him to look up at me, since he was seated. He does, and I lean down and place my lips onto his. I kiss him, and he kisses me back, trailing his hands to my waist. He scoots back onto the bed, pulling me with him, and before I could react he pulls me down to straddle his lap.

I pull away, "Hey! That was uncalled for," - "And so was getting my hair pulled for a kiss. Just ask." He says, putting his finger in my face. I try to bite his finger but he pulls it away, "What if I don't wanna ask? I'd be busy asking you instead of kissing you, I don't have time for that." I say. And he smiles mischievously at me, "That's the second time you haven't asked. It doesn't work like that. You have to ask me from now on, or I won't kiss you at all." He says and I gasp, but roll my eyes. "You can't go a day without kissing me so, don't even go there." I respond, and I lean in to kiss him again, and he pulls away from me by laying down on his back. And I'm truly hurt by his actions, he literally just said he really could go a day without kissing me.

I pout, and I pout for real. I feel the tears well up in my eyes, "That was mean, whatever then, I don't need to kiss you either." I say hurt, and I lift up off his lap. He tries to stop me but I shake his hand off, and head to the bathroom. I close the door behind me, and I decide to try and shake off what he just did. I do that by doing a little bit of my makeup.

I clean up my eyebrows with my tweezers, put some glitter on my eyelids, along with some highlight on my cheekbones. I put on some perfume and some earrings, and the last thing I do is apply some lip gloss, before heading back out the bathroom. I take one step out the bathroom and I'm faced with him, leaning against the wall he made a hole in. I roll my eyes and walk around him, and as expected, he stops me. "You didn't need to put any makeup on, you already looked gorgeous without it." He says, and I squint my eyes at him.

"Don't try to butter me up right now, I'm mad at you." I say, trying to walk away again. He stops me with a hug from behind. He moves my hair out the way, while I try to pry him off me. "I'm sorry, please stop being mad at me." He whispers near my near, before kissing my neck. I try to keep my focus on what he did early but, he always makes it hard to stay mad at him.

He hugs me tighter, and instead of kissing me, he breathes me in, sighing afterwards. I relax into him, "You can kiss me whenever you want, I was just kidding when I said you had to ask." He says softly, and I turn around to face him after we walked over to the bed together. "Sorry I acted like a brat." Is all I say, and he nods, "You were acting like a bossy brat. When you know damn well who runs this relationship." He mutters the last part under his breath but, I sure as hell heard him. "Oh? So you think you run this relationship? You think you control this relationship? And did you really think I wouldn't hear that?" I question laughing, he's not serious is he? He nods, and I check on his sister, and see that she's on the ground, coloring.

"Well, you don't. Just cuz you're the man of the relationship doesn't mean you run it." I tell him, and he steps closer to me. "Oh? If I'm not in charge here then how come I can do this and get away with it?" He says, right before pushing me down on the bed. I gasp, and he lifts up my skirt, and shirt while locking his lips with mine. My mind is telling me to stop him, so I can prove him wrong but, something in me wants to let him do whatever he wants. I kiss him back, forgetting what we were arguing about.

I wrap an arm around his neck, pulling him all the way down. He pulls away, "See I told you, I do what I want, when I want. For instance, I'm gonna stop and get up now, so we can go introduce Mellie to Lauren and your brother's." He says, "Nooo, you can't do that. We still have time to," - "To what?" He asks me, raising an eyebrow. I roll my eyes, and sigh, "to nothing, never mind. You're right, we should get up, we've taken too much time already." I say, pushing him up, "You sure?" He asks me, and I pull him to where I can whisper in his ear, "Yes, I'm sure." And he clenches his jaw, before lifting up off me. I get up too and straighten my skirt, before walking over and picking up Mellie. We all leave together, and head over to Lauren and Liam's apartment, and temporarily, Miles's apartment too.

We knock and my older brother open's the door, "Heyyy,-woah- wait a minute, who's this little girl?" Is the first thing that comes out of his mouth as he let's us in. Liam comes out and gives us the same look Miles did, and I already know what they're assuming. Lauren comes out her bedroom and seems to choke on her own spit, or air. One of the two. "Okay, you two? Start talking." She says, while staring at the little girl in my arms.

"Okay okay, sheesh. I'd like you all to meet Melody Iris Eaton, my little sister." He says, and they all gasp while coming over, but Lauren seemed the most surprised. "You have a little sister?!" She questions aloud, stealing Mel from me. I let her, since I'd do the same with the cutie. Mel laughs as Lauren twirled around with her. Lauren suddenly stops though, "Wait, if she's your sister, then that means you had to've seen your father." She assumes, and Tobias shakes his head.

Tobias has told me about his relationship with Lauren, she was the one person he could talk to about anything before I got here to Dauntless. So I expected for her to know all about his father's wrong doing's. And my brother's know also, since they asked for his last name one day before, which lead Tobias to explain that the rumors about Marcus having and abusing his son were truth. "She's not my half sister Lauren." He tells her, and her eyes widen. "But that would mean . . ." She trails off, connecting the dots.

"Your mother's alive. How is she alive?" She asks, and me and Tobias thus explain how his mother faked her death and how she knew and found me, to get to him. Lauren sees that she choose to see his father first instead of him, and gets upset. Tobias tells her there's an explanation for that before looking at his watch, "But we've actually got somewhere to be so, I'll tell you guys later. All of you get dressed, we can't be late." He says, and Lauren gives me back Mel so she could get changed out her PJ's. Miles heads to the bathroom with some clothes while Liam and Lauren head into their room together. Which left me, Mel, and Tobias alone in their living room.

I sit down with Mel and Tobias sits next to me, and I remember that my beloved boyfriend visited my father last night, alone. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot to ask. How'd it go last night? With my dad?" I ask him, and I watch his body language. He sits up a little, tense. But it seems like he forces himself to relax, "Oh uh, nothing you wouldn't expect. He was upset and let me know how he felt. It didn't end so well but, it really wasn't that bad either. We drank together for the most part. He told me he respects me but uh, he's upset that his daughter is the first in line for the rest of life basically." He tells me, and I hear that tinge in his voice again. "oh I'm so sorry, whatever my father said, he probably didn't mean. Beside the respect part of course, he also told me he respected you too. I figured he'd be like that though, I wish he wanted us together one hundred percent and not just let us be together and bite his tongue." I say, and he agrees.

"When he was talking, I could sense he wanted to say more then he did. He doesn't like me again, I felt it." He says, and I huff. I swear, my father's impossible. He'll never tell you exactly how he feels about something. I sigh, "It's cuz I'm his only daughter. But it most likely still because he sees you for what you are." I say, and he furrows his eyebrows at me. "And what would that be?" He asks, obivously curious.

"A grown man. In his eyes I'm his teenaged daughter, who loves and cares for a grown man. And now, it's not so much as he sees you as a threat to me, it's just," I trail off, looking over at Tobias. He sucks his teeth, "It's just, this is wrong. Me and you." He says, and even though I'm taken aback a little, I eventually nod. "To him, of course." He finishes his sentence. "We were never meant to be together, considering I was your instructor and you were my initiate. And not to mention, by the time you were born I was already walking and talking." He explains. We weren't really supposed to fall in love with one another.

Probably somewhere in another universe, I found someone my age and so did he. But, here we are, in this universe, and I couldn't be happier. "You're not wrong y'know," I say, and he looks over at me, "I don't think we were supposed to end up together." I add. "You're happy we did though," He pauses, "right?" He asks, and I smile. "Of course I'm happy. I couldn't be happier with you." I say, looking into his eyes.

He smiles at me, "I wouldn't bet on that." He mutters before kissing me once, and then twice before, "AH! No PDA in front of the precious child!" Lauren comes out yelling, picking Mel up and covering her eyes. "It's probably a little late for that, considering how these two love to be all over one another." My older brother Miles says, coming out the bathroom fully dressed, with our uncles leather jacket on. My aunt was right, it suites him real nice. It's like, he's supposed to have it. "Oh hush, pretty soon here you're probably gonna be joining the love boat along with us. You stay chatting up a storm with one of our female initiates." I say, and Liam laughs.

"You might just become another instructor X initiate couple. Tatalie 2.0." He jokes, mashing me and Tobias's names together. "Or Nobias 2.0." Lauren comments, and me and my love start laughing. "Very funny Lariam," I say, giving them a taste of their own medicine, "Did you forget you two are right along with us? Only thing that's different is gender. How does is feel to be dating a boy younger then you hm Lauren?" I ask, and she looks my younger brother up and down. She covers Mel's ears, "Shiiit, the younger the better." She mutters, and we all burst out laughing. "Okay ew TMI, that's my brother." I say, cringing internally.

"I guess you'd say Lauren's a bit of a cougar, yeah?" Tobias says from beside me, and Lauren laugh-scoffs, "Oh shut it, you're old enough to be her sugar daddy." She comments, waving her finger between me and him. I gasp, a bit offended. I know what that is. "Okay wait, I am not that old!" - "Neither am I!" Tobias and Lauren continue fighting, and me and my siblings are rolling on the floor. Everyone eventually calms down, and we all see its five minutes til noon.

I pick up Melody, and we all exit the apartment. Liam locks the door behind all of us, and catches up. We make it to the training room, and see that only three out of the five of our group were already in here. I see Bellamy, Stephanie, and Grace, but no twins. The three spot all of us and approach, "We appreciate you three being early, it's no surprise the twins aren't." Lauren says as we meet them halfway, "Typical Dauntless-Born, amirite?" Stephanie mutters, just as both twins come running up from behind the initiates.

Elijah bumps into Stephanie, obviously on purpose. And Nehamiah gives her a glare. "For future reference, I strongly suggest you five keep all comments to yourselves," I say. And I say that because the last thing that needs to happen, is meta-human death fight in the middle of Dauntless. "Who's the little girl?" Bell asks, and I can hear the curiosity in his voice.

"That little girl," Tobias starts, "is my sister, Melody. And she'll be joining us for today." He explains, and both Grace and Stephanie come over to me to shower her with affection. I smile, "Okay, I know she's cute but, let's not let her be a distraction from why we asked you all to meet us today." Tobias reminds, and the two girls fall back. All five of them look at us attentively, especially Bell. He looked straight at me. "There's something we need to show you all, but before we do, I want you all to be open-minded. I'd rather not deal with disbelief." I also say, and they look at us funny. "What exactly are we not gonna believe?" Elijah asks, and us instuctors begin to head outside.

Miles walks backwards, "Follow us and you'll find out." He says, before turning forward again. The five follow us out the Headquarters, and we lead the way straight into the same clearing of half burnt tree's. We make it to the center, "What the hell happened here?" Nehemiah asks, and we turn around to face them. "We'll get to the answer to that in a minute." Liam says, "Matter of fact, Miles, would you like to do the honors?" He asks our brother, and he stares at him for a moment before smiling wide. "Don't mind if I do."He says, and steps out in front of us and the five initiates.

The very confused five initiates, I should say. He looks over at me, and I walk up to him, and place my hand on his shoulder, making flame bursts from his arms. He made it where the fire surrounded his arms, from his shoulder down, nothing but bright, heat radiating flame. The initiates jump back, and go wide eyed. Some of them curse under their breath.

I walk back next to Tobias with Mel in my other arm, and let Miles take the spot light. He puts his palms up and did what I did that one day, before I started burning this forest down. He made his flames reach the sky, and I had to admit, I was impressed. He stops and lets it all go out, before looking over the group of initiates with his eyes solid gold.

All five of them are rung speechless, even the twins. I tap Tobias, and unroot a thick tree using only my mind, so I go undetected from the initiates. I make sure he sees what I'm doing and throw it up into the air, like I did the apple, and instead of it being took down by a knife, it's truck by bright white lightening. I smile over at my silver-eyed love as he lowers his arm, perfect aim. The initates are so shocked, they're jaws drop.

"H-How . . ." Bell murmurs, in pure surprise. "You guy's have superpowers?!" Nehemiah asks, he seemed excited, unlike his brother. "No bro, we all do. This has to do with us being divergent huh?" Elijah asks, and I nod. "You're spot on, but don't try jumping off roofs or chasms thinking you can fly just yet though." I say, and they all start looking at their hands. "The third and final stage of training, is when you will get whatever abilites you may have. The test brings out the meta-human in each and every divergent," Tobias explains, and then look over at me.

"Well, every single one expect for the triplets here." He points out, "So that's why their eyes turn gold, they're special." Grace says, and Tobias nods. "They're not just special, they're stronger, stronger then me." He says, and Nehemiah looks as if he couldn't contain his excitement. "Which one of you is the strongest?" He asks us, and besides the initiates, everyone starts looking at me. I mean, not to toot my own horn but, they're not wrong. I can feel the amount of power I have everyday, and everyday, it gets stronger.

Tobias takes his sister from me, and my siblings along with Lauren, steps out the way to give me the spotlight. I step out in front of them, and Bell stares at me wide eyed. "You guy's might want to crouch down for this one." I say, and the initiates waste no time, while my friends and family do it slowly, looking at me confused. I take a deep breath in, and let it out. I ball my fist and fall to my knee's with a yell, slamming it onto the ground.

I make the ground crack in a circle around the initiates, and us instructors, with me in the very center. I stand, with my palms up, and curl my fingers. Doing the unthinkable. I lift all of us up into the air, focusing hard on the solid earth beneath me. I lift us higher and higher, going passed the height of the headquarters.

I stop, remembering someone doesn't like heights. I hold us in the sky, and we're so far up, I could touch the clouds. Everyone unbraces themselves, and stands, except for Tobias, who stayed crouched with his giggly little sister standing in front of him. The initates start looking over the edge, touching the clouds, and talking with one another about how cool it is up here, and how cool my power is. I walk over and crouch in front of Tobias, and make him look into my eyes as I stand him up.

I won't let him look afraid in front of the initiates, cuz I know ground-level Tobias wouldn't want that either. I pull him and Mellie to the center of the large pillar I made, where I know they'd both feel the safest. But Mel isn't really the one I'm worried about, since she had a smile on her face as she watched a bird fly by. "I'm right here, and I'm certainly not gonna let anything happen to you so, just relax my love." I whisper in his ear, kissing his jawline as I pulled away. His tense posture eases a bit, but not a whole lot.

I entwine my fingers with his and stand right next to him, "You're really doing this? Are you like, holding us up here? Right now?" Nehemiah asks, studying me. I nod, since I haven't stop focusing on the ground beneath us ever since I lifted us up. It's like, I've locked a part of my brain on using my ability, so I can do other things at the same time. It's like, the more I used my abilities for different things, the more I can control it all together. "Yes I am," I say, "With my mind." I add to clarify.

They all start looking at me, like I'm a god of some sort. "What makes you so special? And I mean that as an actual question, not an insult." Elijah questions and clarified himself as well. I start to explain how the aptitude test comes into play when it comes to me being so special, "I got all five factions on my test results." I tell them. They give me that look again, "And for every extra faction a divergent gets, they get an ability. For example, me, five factions, four abilities." I explain to them, and now majority of them start acting like Nehemiah. Optimistic and excited. "You have four?! What are the other ones? Y'know besides the fire and ability to chuck a tree." Stephanie questions, and I smile.

I gesture down again, "well, you're experiencing another one now. I'm not using my 'tree chucking' ability to do this." I say, releasing my loves hand. And it was cute, since he didn't want to let go. I realize he needs me to stay calm so, I wrap my arm around him, going underneath his jacket. I stomp my left foot once, and I begin to lower us back down. I hold Mel's hand, and make little water creatures fly around her, and the initiates.

I turn the ones around the initiates into flame creatures, and as I see I have them distracted, I blow them all out with a big long gust of wind. It nearly knocked the initiates over and off. Luckily though, if they had fell, a bruise or two is all they'd really end up with. I make the pillar lower back into the earth, and seal the imperfect circle shaped crack from the bottom to the top with earth. The five initiates express how impressed they were, even Elijah, who seemed skeptical about this at first.

Miles, Liam, and Lauren head back to the headquarters with the initiates and I let them know we'll catch up. I look up at Tobias, he seemed relieved, "I'm sorry I gave you no warning, or choice, I was a little too deep in instructor slash MVP mode. And plus, I'm overly confident about keeping you two safe. I feel terrible for forgetting though, forgive me?" I ask, stepping in front of him, taking his hands. He looks me in the eyes and brings my hands up to kiss my knuckles, "Of course I forgive you." He says, and I raise my eyebrow. "Why? This is a valid reason to be mad at me." I ask, confused. I really expected for him to be upset with me, "Because Natalie," He pauses, "I know what you're capable of."
