Day Sixty-Four

"Good morning, my amazing boyfriend, Nicky," Savannah said on Monday morning, bending down to place a quick kiss on Nick's lips.

"Hey, Van." Nick smiled up at her as she fell into the seat beside him.

She turned to him with a raised brow, "Am I not your amazing girlfriend?"

"You are. I just thought you already knew that. But in case you don't..." He leaned forward and kissed her again quickly, "Good morning, my amazing and beautiful girlfriend."

Savannah grinned and shuffled her chair over so that it was right next to his. "Right. First order of business. It has now been five official days since I became your girlfriend and I still have yet to meet your dog, Molly. We need to sort that."

Nick nodded once, smiling slightly, "Of course."

"Also, I need to remind you once again that you need to forget about your stupid dad and remember that I care about you. Don't stop smiling for me, alright?" She looked up at him, her eyes gentle and filled with adoration.

Nick looked down at her with the same love-filled gaze, "Anything for you."
