âWhat is this?â I slam the letter on my husbandâs table.
âWhat?â He plays innocent.
âDidnât I tell you not to give me more shocks? What are you up to now?â I shout at my idiot husband or should I say my arrogant boss?!
âWhy the hell am I your secretary?â I shout at him.
âDidnât I tell you, Iâll teach you how to handle a business? Being my secretary youâll learn more.â He nods with his arms crossed against his chest.
âIt may be true, but you should have at least discussed it with me before sending this.â I lower my tone.
âOh My God!!!! hahahaa!!! I canât believe this is your idea, so childish.â Rihito laughs like thereâs no tomorrow.
âWhatâs so funny?â I look at him with confusion.
âNo, you just continue. Donât mind me.â Rihito continues to laugh.
âYou both are mad! no wonder youâre best friends!!â I shout cause I donât really get whatâs so funny here!
âTeresa!â Ren calls out to me entering the room.
âDidnât anyone teach you manners? Donât you know you should knock before you enter?â My husband glares at him.
âOh Sorry, I didnât knock at Teresaâs so, out of habit...â Ren smiled and goes back outside the door.
âMay I come in, Ryouma?â He knocks and pops his head inside with a smile on his face.
âItâs sir for you and no you may not.â Mr. monkey shakes his head no.
âHahah!!â Rihito laughs out loud.
âRen, of course you can come.â I tell him.
âWhatâs wrong with you? Why are you behaving like this? Have your screw gotten lose again, husband?â
âItâs sir for you tooâ He looks at me and back at Ren âand who told you to come in? Itâs my cabin, I decide who enters and who donât.â He gives an icy glare.
âWho am I? Iâm your wife? and I gave him the permission.â I glare back at him, how dare he talk like that?
âHahahahha! Can I get popcorns? cause trust me youâre going to enjoy this!â Rihito pulls Ren and rests his arm around his shoulders.
âNo, youâre my secretary now so mind your tongue.â He retorts.
This jerk and his arrogant mouth!
âSecretary? my foot! Iâll love to die before having an arrogant jerk like you as my boss. God! and I thought youâre cured now but no youâre having the psychotic episodes again huh?â I cross my arms and yell at him.
âWho are you calling a psycho?â He stands up from his chair and banging his hands on the table, glares at me.
âOf course you, lunatic husband.â I glare back.
âIâm your boss!â He shouts.
âYou self-declared it. I never agreed for this! Why should I be your secretary being your wife is more than enough to drive me crazy! And now youâre telling me that Iâll have to be with you and bear you the entire day too? Do I seem mad to you? Hell no!â I tear the letter into pieces and dump it on the dustbin.
âLetâs go Ren.â I drag Ren by his arms and walk out.
âThat jerk!â I shout reaching my cabin.
Third personâs P.O.V
âAh-ow, nice plan to get her away from him and keep close to you but looks like your plan backfired.â Rihito clicks his tougue, pitying his friend.
Ryouma glares at him.
âWell I can give you a suggestion. You always try to force things on her thatâs why it never works for you, so why not try being polite and show that itâs for her own good and leave the decision entirely up to her then she might listen to you?
Ryouma ponders at his friendâs suggestion.
âOkay enough of the entertainments Iâve got to go see ya.â Rihito waves bye and walks out.
Home
âDoesnât he get enough troubling me at home and now wants to order me around! Like hell Iâll ever let that happen! And how dare he talk to me like that? Who am I? Come in the room first Iâll show you who am I?â Humph!â Teresa shouts glaring at her husbandâs picture.
Ryoumaâs P.O.V
I enter my room, where my wife already throwing her cold glare at me.
Guess Rihito is right, I always piss her off.
I smile at her but she continues to glare at me. I walk to her and sat on the side of the bed.
âI know youâre angry that I took decision without telling you but trust me that was for your good.â I try to convince her.
âIâm angry over that too but tell me again who am I?â She was ready to attack with a pillow in her hands.
âMy wife?â I answer with a puzzled expression on my face.
âHow dare you treat me like that in front of Ren?â She hits me with the pillow.
âOh youâre angry for that?â I catch the pillow before it hits my face.
âDonât say it so casually.â This time she perfectly scores it on my face.
âOkay, okay relax. It was wrong of me. But canât you think about it again? about being my secretary? It would benefit you, youâll get to learn how to handle everything too. hmm?â I give her a smile.
âOkay, Iâll think about it.â Her anger slowly melts. âDonât you have anything to say?â
âLike what?â I ask.
âForget it! I forgot I shouldnât expect things like sorry from you!â
âSorry.â
âItâs okay.â She lets out a small smile.
Phew! I sigh a relief.
Next day
Office
âWork on this file and make a presentation, if you donât get it you can ask me.â I pass her a file.
âItâs simple I can do this. â She smiles.
âWhat is it? Why are you looking me like that?â i ask her as she continues to stare at me.
âHehe nothing, being your secretary is not that bad either. Iâm really learning a lot!â She smiles.
Good, Rihitoâs plan is working, well he expertise this area.
After a while
âHere. I did it.â She hands me the file and the pen drive.
âso soon?â I look at her in surprise.
âOi who do you take me for? I just never did anything, but once I get my mind on something, nothing is difficult for me. And look I even managed to sort your schedule for this week.â She shows me the diary.
âHmm Iâve got myself a good secretary then.â I go through her presentation and nod.
âHehe, who do you think I am?â She smiles with her head high.
âYouâre my wife after all, you should be able to do it.â I nod at her.
âThere you go again the arrogant almighty Ryouma-sama.â
âHey, Teresa!â I hear Ren call her again.
There he comes again the unwanted pest!
âDonât you know how to knock?â I glare at Ren.
âSorry, sorry I forgot. Now May I come in sir?â he goes back to the door.
âOf course Ren come on in.â My wife calls him.
As much as I didnât want him to, but no! I need to control my anger I donât want to fight again. I fake a smile.
âTeresa, letâs go for lunch, Iâm hungry.â He hugs her arms. How dare he touch her? I glare at him. Can I punch him?
âYeah sure my work is done too.â My wife smiles at him.
âWait, youâre not done yet.â I blurt out.
âhuh? but i did finish everything?â My wife tilts her head in confusion.
âWe have a meeting to attend.â I think of an excuse and walk to them.
âBut your schedule is clear?â
âIâm telling you Teresa, we have a meeting!â I pull her, separating them.
âOk then, Sorry Ren.â She sadly looks at her so called best friend.
âItâs ok, Iâll have it with other staffs.â He pats her head.
Does he have to touch her every time? My blood boils with anger.
He walks out. Good, youâre not needed here pest! The more I look at him, the more I hate him. Heâs always smiling like an idiot! How can anyone be this smiley? I cringe with disgust. Does she like this type of guy? I turn to my wife.
âSo, What is this meeting?â She asks me with her hands on her waist.
âIt is one of a kind.â I avoid meeting her eyes.
âHuh?â
âHere help me finish this.â I hand her another file.
âOkay.â
âhere Finished.â After half an hour, she returns me the file.
âSo where is the meeting and with whom?â
âDidnât I tell you itâs cancelled?â I smile and get up from my chair and walk to her.
âHuh? When?â She tilts her head in confusion.
âJust now, letâs go for lunch. Iâm very hungry.â I pull her close.
âBut...â
âCome on wifey, your husband is hungry, be considerate.â I wrap my arms around her shoulder.
âO-okay?â She shrugs.
