Day 3
Early morning, we jogged down the road and returned to the room and freshened up.
We had our breakfast and started on for an adventurous day.
âSo what do we have for today?â I asked my husband.
âWhat?â
âYou did plan something right?â
âWhat plans? Iâm going for work.â He went out.
âYou must be kidding. Donât tell me you seriously didnât plan anything? Youâll work and what about me? Youâre being mean again.â I followed him out.
âWho said anything about work? I said boat.â He pointed at the boat.
âCome.â He pulled me.
The boat was a paddling boat.
We sat on the boat and paddled away. After paddling to a short distance we climbed on the yacht and saw 2 fishing rods with buckets at the side.
I looked at him and smiled.
âMy dad and I used to go fishing when I was little. Want to compete who catches more fish?â He suggested.
âSure. Bring it on.â I accepted the challenge.
He caught one after another while I hadnât even caught one.
âThatâs unfair.â I shouted.
âWow, just because youâre losing itâs unfair?â
âYou must be cheating. Letâs exchange the rods.â I pulled his rod and gave mine.
âOkay go ahead. Even with this you canât beat me.â He continued fishing.
After few hours.
Heâs got 20 fishes. He had this super victorious smile on his face while I sat pouting.
Something got caught in my fishing rod.
âOh, looks like I caught one.â I tried to pull it up.
âIt wonât come.â I pulled harder.
âMust be a big one. Here let me help you.â He pulled it out for me. Ah!! I caught two fishes and that too big one. We put the fishes in the bucket.
âWah! Itâs a big one!!â I jumped and clapped my hands together.
Something got caught again.
âOh my, another one!â I jumped again.
At the end of the day,
âI won.â I jumped and hugged him.
We got on the boat and paddled back.
We returned back to the shore.
âOh my god! Horses!â I saw two horses and shouted with excitement.
âI love horses.â I ran to them and patted their head.
âReally?â
âWanna race?â I asked him as I jumped on the white one.
âYou got lucky out there, but Iâll beat you here.â He took the black one.
We raced along the beach. I beat him once, the next time I lost and we continues racing till the sunset. We sat on the beach sand and watched the sun and the water meet.
While I was busy watching the sunset, he stood up "Where are you going?" I ask him.
"We need to do something about them." He pointed at the fishes in the bucket. "Wait here, I'll be right back." He said and went inside the villa.
After few minutes, he came out with small wooden logs and created a small bonfire, frying the fish.
"I'll have the ones I caught, the big ones." I clap my hands.
Day 4
I was so tired by yesterdayâs play that I slept till midday.
I woke up and was too lazy to do anything that day. So we stayed at home and decided to play video game in the hall. We sat on the floor with snacks on our side.
âYah! yah! stop pushing me.â I hit him.
âI am not doing anything, youâre losing and stop hitting me.â He blocks my hand.
âJust shut up and let me concentrate.â I kicked him.
âStop hitting me for nothing.â He pushed my legs.
âIâm losing because of you. Shut your mouth.â I looked at him and shouted.
GAME OVER flashed the screen.
âAh! Look, you made me lose.â I hit him.
âStop blaming me and accept that youâre defeated.â He pinched my nose.
âNo! Letâs do this again. Iâll beat you this time.â I slapped his hands away.
âOkay, no matter what the results will be same.â He stick his tongue out.
GAME OVER flashed the screen again.
âYou made me lose again!â I whined kicking the floor.
âHaha this is the 5th time, youâre making the same excuse.â He pointed his finger at me.
âDonât be stubborn and accept your defeat.â He patted my head.
âNo, weâre doing this again.â I shouted.
âFine. One Last time, after this no excuses. Okay?â
âOkay. The last one.â
Third person P.O.V
âNo, Iâm about to lose again.â She muttered.
He looked at her.
âYay!! I won.â She did a victory dance not knowing that he purposely let her win.
âYou lost.â She signed a loser sign with her fingers.
âYes, yes, you win and I lose.â He pretended to be sad.
âYay!!â she danced around the room.
âCome on now, donât pout, itâs okay to lose, I know you never lost in your lifetime but thereâs a first time to everything.â She patted his back.
âOf course.â He smiled to himself.
It was already 6 of the evening.
âHey, letâs watch a movie.â She suggested.
âSure.â He nodded.
âA horror one.â She clapped her hands.
âyouâre crazy?â He looked at her.
âHaha! Donât tell me that the Almighty Ryouma is scared?â She teased him.
âIâm not scared. But you canât sleep in dark and youâre going to watch a horror movie? I'm the one who is going to suffer! Nop, Iâm against it.â He crossed his arms in front of his chest.
âNow come on donât be a spoil sport. My trauma has cured. Please letâs watch a horror!! Please!!â She hold his arms.
âPlease! Please!â She poked his cheeks.
âOkay fine.â He sighed.
âYay!â She threw her hands up in the air.
They started watching the movie laying on the bed.
âYah! Donât go there. No!â She shouted to the couple in the movie.
âStop shouting, Itâs not like theyâll hear you from here.â He looked at his wife who didnât give a damn and continued shouting.
âThose couples were so stupid, they simply walked to their death.â Said his wife finishing the remaining popcorn.
âYeah only youâre smart.â He faked smile.
He got up from the bed and started to go to the kitchen, suddenly his wife shouted âbooâ from his back.
He flinched.
âStop that.â he glared at her.
âScaredy cat, you sit here, Iâll bring some water from the kitchen.â She patted his back and went to kitchen.
âCome soon.â He shouted from the back.
âYouâre scared?â She looked back at him.
âIâm not.â He shaked his head no.
âLook thereâs someone behind you.â She pointed.
âWhat?â He looked back.
âhaha donât worry, even the ghosts will run away from a demon like you.â She nodded her head and went to the kitchen.
After a minute Ryouma heard his wife scream,
He ran to her.
âThereâs someone there.â She pointed at the window.
âNice try. Iâll not fall for it.â He said rolling his eyes.
âShut up and see there.â She slapped him.
âOw, you literally slapped me?â He touched his cheek.
âShut up and look.â She hold his face and turned it.
âWhat? no oneâs there. Looks like itâs after effect of the movie.â He patted her back.
âBut I saw someone there. I think they went to the forest.â She looked at him.
âNo oneâs there, itâs your imagination. Didnât i tell you entering the forest is prohibited? Come letâs go and sleep.â He surrounded her shoulders with his arm.
âOkay...but....â She looked back.
âCome on.â He pulled her.
Middle of the night
Ryouma slowly got up from bed and looked at his wife who slept peacefully. He slowly tip-toed out of the room and went out of the house towards the forest.
âDidnât I tell you not to come here? She saw you!â He shouted.
âIâm sorry.â answered a woman.
âItâs okay, be careful from now. Good night.â He hugged her.
Ryouma tip-toed back to his room and slept.
