Teresa’s P.O.V

As soon as Rina sees me, she comes running to me and hugs me and cries uncontrollably.

“Hey? What’s wrong?” I panic, because Rina is simply not the one to cry like this. She can break 1000s of bones but this type of scene is extremely rare.

I make her sit on the couch and rub her back hugging her.

“Rina please don’t cry. Please.” Seeing her cry like that brought tears in my eyes.

“DID YOU MAKE HER CRY?” I pick the hockey stick and point it at Rihito.

“Are you crazy? Do you think I even stand a chance against her? She’ll beat me into a flour before i can do something. Please put that thing down. You’re scaring me sis.” He begs.

“Then tell me, what the hell happened, bro? And do it before i lose my senses!” I threaten him.

“This... has.. nothing.. to do.. with him.” Rina says in between her cry.

After a while

She finally stops crying.

“You’re okay?” I ask her offering the water.

She nods.

“Now can you guys please tell me what’s going on? Why were you crying and why is he here?” Ah mind is so messed up.

“It’s Eros.” She cries again.

“What about that jerk?” I question her.

“Well Teresa the name you gave him totally suits him. His a total gross.” Rihito makes a disgusted face.

“Okay so what the hell did he do?” I ask him.

“The day that you asked me to check upon her, I saw that guy’s picture on her phone. The same night, I saw that jerk on a bar flirting with other girls. I sent his picture with the girls to this girl over here, but she didn’t give a damn about it. In fact she even threatened me that she’ll have my head if I do that sort of thing again. Then I thought why to bother. But that bastard just had to get on my nerves, he ruined my date, he even approached me to talk about business. Then I thought I should show his true colors to this idiot who blindly trusted that jerk. I laid a trap for that jerk who happily jumped on it. In the end, they broke up.” He summarizes the incident.

“They did what?” I jump excitedly.

“Oh you know what, I just love you, I mean I couldn’t do it from past 1 year and you did it within a week. I can’t tell you how happy I am. From now on your my bff no.2. If you need any help form me anytime just give me a call bro. You owe me one.” I hug him.

“Haha sure little sister.” He hugs me back.

I was so excited that I forgot my bff was still crying.

“I’m sorry Rina. But to tell you the truth its good you got away from him. I mean he didn’t deserve you and you deserve a lot better than him.” I hug her.

“but then why are you here?” I ask him.

“Umm he actually stalked her and threatened her.”

“That jerk.” That explains why she changed the lock.

“Would you do me a favor? Can you please help me beat that guy up? I know his address.” I pick up the hockey stick and ask him to accompany me. The more the merrier!

“Oh, I would love to.” He says dramatically keeping his hand on his chest.

But Rina pulled me back.

“Don’t tell me you still feel for him? I mean come on not after all this?” I look at her.

“Don’t go, don’t leave me, please.” She says with a trembling voice. Jeez, how did she turn like this? I’m going to kill that jerk!

“Aw of course, no one’s leaving you. sorry.” I give her a tight hug.

“Bro change in the plan we’ll go someday in the future.” I nod at Rihito.

“Sure. Whenever you ask for.” He nods back.

“Anyway I have some better ideas for today to cheer you up. We’ll have a girls night out today!” I exclaim.

“hmm” Rihito clears his throat. “I’m here too.” He says raising his hand.

“okay then one boy and two girl’s night out then.” I pull them in a group hug and jump.

“Ouch! My leg!” Shouldn’t have jumped only today I took the bandages off.

Time skip

I sat on the bed with my leg supported by a cushion and Rina pulled the blanket for me.

“And here I was supposed to take care of you but instead I made you look after me.” I say with a sad face.

“It’s okay, Teresa.” She smiles at me. Finally she smiled! I thought. But again the smile disappears.

I seriously want to smash that guy’s head right now. Maybe I should have just done that!

My phone buzzes.

*Mr.Monkey/Demon calling...*

“Why the hell is he calling me?” I roll my eyes as I pick up the call, “Ye-”

“Where the hell are you?” The demon roars cutting me off.

Has he gone mad or what? Who does that? Does he plan to damage my ears? I took the phone away from my ears and looked at the phone.

“And what the hell is wrong with you jerk? You nearly blowed my ears off.” I yell at him.

“Where are you? Why are you roaming around with that leg of yours? You should be resting on bed.” He yells back.

“Well I am resting on the bed.” I look down at the bed.

“What? Where?”

“I already informed mom that I’ll be staying at Rina’s for few days.”

“Why don’t I know about this?” I hear him growl.

“Are you my mom or dad? Why should I report you where am I? and what I’m doing?”

Why does he have to bother?

“I’m your husband.” He states.

“Wait,is anyone around you?” I ask him.

“no. I’m alone in the room.”

“So why are you pretending to be my husband?”

“I AM your husband.”

“yea but a contract husband. you don’t have to pretend to care when you’re alone. Remember we’re not in Hawaii we’re back home.”

“When are you returning?”

“Why do you care? You always keep on complaining that you have to share your room, you bed and I made your clean room messy. so congratulations husband you get the whole room, whole bed to yourself for few days. Enjoy staying in your clean room.”

“Y-yeah. of course I will. Stay there as much as you want, even better if you don’t return at all.”

“And listen, send my clothes with.....” I hear the beep.

“Hello? Hello?”

“He hung up on me. That jerk!” I shout.

Rina laughs.

“what’s so funny?” I glare at her.

“He must be missing his cute wife.” Rina teases me sticking her tongue out.

“Now that was a joke! Haha!” i fake a laugh.

She laughs again.

“Why does he even care when I return when he the one who treats me like a pest when I’m around.” I roll my eyes. “No seriously and it’s become worse after we came back from Hawaii. That jerk only needs me when he’ needs to show the world how perfect he is and when no one is around he treats me like a piece of trash! He was having fun messing with me!”

Rina tries to suppress her laugh.

“No go on, laugh at me.“

“Who’s laughing at you? Not me.” She laughs loudly.

I pout sulking.

Rihito too enters the room laughing.

“Not you too!” I cross my arms and sulk.

“so he enjoyed his holiday with you? Now that’s a news. He didn’t tell me at all.” Says Rihito enjoying himself.

“Even you think it was weird? him having fun! see I was right! That demon is a weird piece in this entire universe! By the way what did you hear?” I question him.

“I heard his wife nearly killed him with a flower vase.” He laughs.

“You did that? Now that’s my girl.” Rina pats my head.

“Don’t teach her crazy things. I nearly lost my best friend.“ Rihito protests.

“Seems like he didn’t tell you the reason?” I narrow my eyes at him.

“Nope.“ He shakes his head.

I narrate the whole incident at Hawaii also the part why we returned so soon.

“I heard Sam saved me. But that jerk didn’t even let me thank him. Now that I think about it I did see them fighting before I lost consciousness. Well does it even matter? They don’t need a reason to fight. Even if I nearly died drowning.”

“Umm Teresa, can you do me a favor?” Rihito asks. “Don’t talk about or talk to Sam in front of Ryouma. That’s a forbidden topic, even his mom doesn’t mention Sam in front of him.”

“Why? that’s right you’re his bff aren’t you? You should know why is it a forbidden topic?” I ask him.

“Let’s better not talk about it.” Rihito raises his hands in surrender.

“Why? I want to know after all “Sam” was the reason he dumped me in the middle of the road in the middle of the night.” I complain.

“Then, you better go and ask him yourself.”

“I’ve literally asked him 1000s of times, but he doesn’t budge.”

“It’s not my thing to tell you. Please don’t ask me.”

“Fine!”

Later that night we got drunk, sang sad songs, danced and cried. We even played dart with Eros pic at the center. I scored the highest point. Yay!!

Ryouma’sP.O.V

When I returned home, I don’t see my wife in the room.

I checked the bathroom and the entire house but she’s nowhere.

I immediately dialed her no. Where the hell did she go with her injured leg. She was supposed to rest and not run around.

“Ye-”

“Where the hell are you?” I shouted as soon as she picked the call.

“And what the hell is wrong with you jerk? You nearly blowed my ears off.” Damn this woman. Has she ever answered my questions directly? No, then why would she do that now?

“Where are you? Why are you roaming around with that leg of yours? You should be resting on bed.” I yelled at her.

“Well I am resting on the bed.” She replied.

“What? Where?”

“I already informed mom that I’ll be staying at Rina’s for few days.”

“Why don’t I know about this?” There she is enjoying her time with her best friend and here I got worked up for nothing.

“Are you my mother or father? Why should I report you where I am and what I’m doing?”

Why is she picking a fight? I just wanted to know about her wellbeing but seems like I’ll not get a direct answer from her.

“I’m your husband.” I stated the fact.

“Wait, is anyone around you?”

“No. I’m alone in the room.” I looked around the room.

“So why are you pretending to be my husband?”

“I AM your husband.”

“yea but a contract husband. you don’t have to pretend to care when you’re alone. Remember we’re not in Hawaii we’re back home.”

“When are you returning?”

“Why do you care? You always keep on shouting how you have to share your room, you bed and I made your clean room messy. so congratulations husband you get the whole room, whole bed to yourself for few days. Enjoy staying in your clean room.”

“Y-yeah. of course I will. Stay there as much as you want, even better if you don’t return at all.” I cut the call and threw the phone on the bed with anger. Why did I even decide to call?

Yes, now I have the whole room to myself. Of course I’m happy alone. I hope she doesn’t return at all. This is exactly the way it should have been. yeah it’s good, way better than having a noisy wife around.

I changed my clothes and got into the bed with my laptop.

Let’s do some work.

1 hour later

Forget the work, just go to sleep.

Finally I can turn off the lights.

1 hour later

*Turns on the light*

Let’s go to sleep now.

3 hours later

“Why can’t I just sleep already?” I shout frustrated.

I picked up my phone and called Rihito.

“And why isn’t he picking up?” I dialed again.

“Yes, calling me late night, everything’s okay?” He finally answered.

“Wait! is it the jerk?” I hear my wife? why is she with him? Didn't she say she's at Rina's place?

“yes, lil’ sis, it's your jerk.” Rihito answered.

“Rihito? Where the hell are you?” I ask him.

“At your wife bbf’s house.”

“Why are you there?”

“Turn on the speaker.” I hear my wife. “Hiccup.. Why husband... hicc.. now even he.. hicc.. needs your hicc... permission to go... hicc.. out, huh? hicc... By the way we’re having one boy two girls night out... hehe...”

Judging by her voice, she’s obviously drunk... I face palmed my self. “I’m hanging up!”

“Stop. Don’t you dare! How dare you hang up on me??” She keeps on blabbering and criticizing me.

God!!

She probably got violent as I hear things braking down.

Point to be remembered: Don’t ever let her drink.

“Missing your wife already?” I hear Rihito answer the call.

“Huh? Why would I? Are you drunk?”

“No. This thing can’t get me drunk so I’m sober.”

“then, blabbering nonsense without being drunk? Looks like you learnt it from her.”

“Then did you miss me? But you never called me like this before. Can’t sleep without your cute wife by your side?" he teases as I hear him laugh at the other end.

“Correction. I cant sleep with her by my side.” I am reminded of her sleeping positions.

“Then why did you call me? Go to sleep.”

“Wow now I need a reason to call my best friend? Fine, I’ll remember this. Bye.” I cut the call and go back to sleep.

I miss her? No way! I don’t miss her. I don’t!! Not at all!!
