Everything was perfect, even Adrian was being good and slept through most of it. But after dinner, Ace and Rosalee’s housekeeper took the little guy home and was going to look after him until the grandparents came to take over. After dinner, it was time for them to start off the first dance.

During their dance, he kept kissing her, not caring that everyone was watching them. “Are you happy, Mrs. Thatcher?”

“Yes, and you, Mr. Thatcher?”

“You know I am. I just wish I could shout from the rooftop that we’re having another baby.”

“After our honeymoon, you can. This day was so perfect, and I hate to see it end. If only we didn’t have to leave early to catch our flight, we could have more time to spend with our friends. When do we have to go change?”

“In a couple of hours, that will give us time to go get our luggage and spend time with our son before we leave. I can’t wait for you to see the awesome place I rented for us.”

Later, she had a dance with her father and then Brett while Ace danced with Mary and then Eve. It was time for them to go home and change out of their wedding clothes. After all the hugs and kisses and Mary saying not to worry about the baby, they left the party.

As soon as they arrived home, they went to their bedroom to change. She asked him if he would help her with the zipper on her dress as she couldn’t reach it.

He walked up behind her and kissed the side of her neck, his hands placed upon her shoulders. “I just wished that when I help you out of this dress it would be for the reason to make love to you. I don’t know how I’m going to control myself until we get to Bora Bora.” As his fingers slowly pulled the zipper of her dress down, he felt himself getting aroused. After spending some time with Adrian, they left for the airport and boarded the plane. It was a 13-hour flight, and it was already late, and she was exhausted. He asked the flight attendant for an extra blanket, and when she brought it, he covered Rosalee up. While she was asleep, he took out his phone and looked at the pictures he had taken at the wedding. When she woke up, she realized she had been asleep for almost five hours. She looked over at Ace and saw that he was asleep. Her heart would beat faster every time she looked at him. He was so handsome, and at times she couldn’t believe that someone like him had fallen in love with her. Not only that, but he was also so kind and loving. Most men would leave feeding and changing the baby to the woman, but not him. He was one of those hands-on dads, he fed Adrian and changed him and would sit with him reading stories.

He opened his eyes to find her staring at him and winked at her. He leaned over, put his hand under the blanket and on her leg, moving up. “You have no idea how much I want to make love to you right now.”

“Well, you could be making love to me right now if you had booked a flight for the day after our wedding, and that way we could have spent the night in our bed, or a hotel. But no, you were in a hurry to get to Bora Bora.”

“I know, I never gave it a thought of how long this flight was going to be. Let’s get up and stretch our legs before the flight attendant brings us our breakfast.”

“I have to go to the bathroom anyway,” she said as she got up off her seat.

“Good idea, you go first, and I’ll wait a minute before joining you.”

“Oh no you don’t, I know what you’re thinking, and you can forget it. I am not having sex with you in an airplane bathroom. I want the first time we make love as husband and wife to be in a bed and not up against a wall in a cramped space.”

He got up and stretched his legs, waiting for her to come back. When she hadn’t returned after ten minutes, he decided to go check up on her and see if she was okay. He knocked on the door once, and when she didn’t answer, he knocked again, this time she opened the door for him. “You were taking so long I thought I better check on you. Are you okay?” he asked when he saw how pale she looked.

“Just a touch of morning sickness, I guess. I’m also feeling a bit weak. I think I need to get something in my stomach.”

He helped her back to her seat and waved over to the flight attendant. “Are you going to be serving breakfast soon? My wife is pregnant and hasn’t eaten for a while.”

“Yes sir, it will be out in five minutes. Is there anything special I can get you, Mrs. Thatcher?”

“No, just whatever you’re serving, but maybe some juice would be nice.”

After they ate, he noticed that the color was coming back into her face once again. He then told her to lay back and sleep and that he would wake her when they landed.

Like in the story of Sleeping Beauty, he woke her with a kiss. “We’re landing soon.”

She opened her eyes and smiled at him. “Oh, it seems like I slept most of the way. I’m sorry I wasn’t awake to keep you company.”

“That’s okay, you need your rest. I kept busy on my laptop and did some work while you slept. I also slept off and on.” He reached over and kissed her. “I can’t wait to start our honeymoon.”

“Me too,” she said purring softly.

After landing and getting in the car that he rented, they headed to the cottage that was above the water. When she saw it, her eyes lit up with excitement.

“Oh my God, this is amazing. It’s so beautiful.”

“Just wait until you see the inside. It’s a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Shall we go in and take a look around?”

“Oh yes,” she said, taking his hand and practically dragging him inside. “Oh my gosh, will you look at the view?”

“The bed is by a large window overlooking the water. Come, let me show you,” he took her hand and walked with her to where the bed was. He was ready for the honeymoon to start. Pulling her into his arms, he kissed her passionately as he lowered her down onto the bed. “I’ve been waiting to get you into bed, and now we will make love as husband and wife for the first time.”

But sadly, just as he had them both partially naked, she felt nauseous and crawling out from underneath him, she ran to the bathroom. There she threw up as she squatted down at the toilet.

“Rosalee,” he said as he went over to hold her hair back.

When she finished, she looked up at him. “I’m so sorry.”

“Hey, you can’t help it, and don’t ever apologize. I understand that it’s part of being pregnant. It was a long flight, and you’re probably worn out, so let’s get you back into bed.”

“I know how much you wanted to make love, and so did I, but I still feel nauseous.”

He helped her back to the bed and got her settled under the covers. “Don’t worry about that, my love. We have ten glorious days to enjoy each other. I was going to take you out to eat later, but I think it’s best you just rest. I’ll just run to the closest grocery store and buy a few things to tie us over for a couple of days. Is there anything special you want me to get?”

“No, all I want is you.”

He returned with a couple of bags full of groceries. He also made sure to get plenty of fruit for her and ice cream. For three days, she continued to feel nauseous and threw up. On the 4th day, he became concerned and had the doctor who worked at the resort come and check her out.

“Mr. Thatcher, everything is fine with your wife and the baby. All she’s experiencing is what we call morning sickness, and as you know, it can happen at any time during the day or night.”

“But with our first baby, she was hardly ever sick, maybe once or twice.”

“It can be different with every pregnancy. All she needs to do is get plenty of rest and lots of good healthy foods to eat. This will pass eventually.”

Four days, and they still had not had sex, but he was not mad at her because he knew that it wasn’t her fault and that she wanted it just as much as he did.

That night they laid in bed, and when he noticed how quiet she was, he asked her if something was wrong.

“I just feel terrible. You brought me here for a beautiful honeymoon, and all I’ve done is sleep and throw up.”

“It’s okay, we still have six more nights left.” When he woke up the next day, she wasn’t in bed with him. “Rosalee, where are you?” he called out.

“I’m in the bathroom, I’ll be right out.”

“Are you sick again?”

“No, I feel much better, and I have a surprise for you, so just stay in bed.” Yes, she was feeling much better and wanted him more than she had ever wanted him.

When she walked out of the bathroom, he sat up, and his mouth fell open, and his cock sprang to life. “Well, I will have to hire a new personal assistant because I don’t think Bonnie wants to continue doing it forever.”

“No, I know she’s only doing it as a favor to us. So when you start looking for applicants to fill my job, you better make sure it’s either a really old woman or a male.”

Ace was in his office going over some papers when Mary came barging in. Right away, he knew something was wrong. Getting up, he stared at her. “Mary, is something wrong?”

“You need to take Rosalee to the hospital right now. She’s in labor.”

After getting her safely into the vehicle, Mary told them not to worry about Adrian, that she would take good care of him and that she would call John.

As they drove to the hospital, he held her hand. He was nervous as hell, and seeing that she was going into labor a month early, he was worried about both her and the baby. But he put on a brave face so that she wouldn’t become upset any more than she already was. “It’s going to be okay, sweetheart. They say that lots of babies come early.”

She started sniffling, placing her right hand over her belly. “I’m really worried. I’ve been so sick throughout this pregnancy, and now she’s coming a month early. What if something’s wrong?”

“Hey, nothing is wrong, I promise you.”

As soon as he got her to the hospital, he shouted out to the nurse that his wife was in labor and she was a month early. It was a big relief when they took her in right away to check her and the baby out. He was made to wait in the waiting room, so since he had time, he called Eve and Brett to let them know what was going on. He was pacing back and forth, the longer he was made to wait, the more worried he became.

“Mr. Thatcher.”

He turned around to face the doctor. “Yes, that’s me. How is my wife, and when can I go see her?”

“Your wife is doing okay, and we’re taking her into the delivery room now. You can follow me, and we’ll suit you up with a gown and mask.”

“My wife isn’t due for a month, and she’s been sick most of her pregnancy. You’ve got to tell me if there’s a problem or if either one of them is in danger.”

“I understand your concern, and it is quite normal for babies to come early. They tend to come into this world when they’re ready. The baby’s heartbeat is very strong, and your wife, though she’s feeling tired and exhausted, she’s also in good health.”

He held her hand in the delivery room, telling her how very much he loved her and how proud he was to be her husband. It was a much longer and harder delivery than when she had Adrian, but when the doctor said it was time for her to push, and it wasn’t much longer than their baby girl came into the world. After wiping the baby off and placing her in a blanket, the nurse handed Rosalee her baby girl.

“Oh my, this is very unexpected,” the doctor said, causing the couple to look at him.

Ace couldn’t stop his heart from racing, for sure he thought something was wrong with Rosalee. “What’s wrong?”

The doctor looked back at him and smiled. “Your wife’s file says she’s only having one baby, but there’s another one getting ready to enter the world.”

Rosalee and Ace looked at each other with mouths wide open. “Twins. But the scans never said anything about having twins. How is this even possible?” Ace asked, looking back at the doctor.

“Well, it looks like this little one was hiding behind his or her sister. Now, Mrs. Thatcher, I’m going to have to get you to start pushing.”

Twenty minutes later, another little girl was brought into the world. But she was so much tinier than her sister. The first baby weighed 5 lb and 1 oz, whereas the second one was only 4 lb and 2 oz.

“Oh my God, she’s so tiny,” Rosalee said when the baby was placed in her arms.

“We need to take both babies and have them checked out, and this little one here might have to go into the incubator for a few hours just to make sure that all her organs are functioning properly.”

Ace went into the waiting room while they were taking care of her and the baby. Of course, Eve and Brett were there.

“So how are they?” Eve asked excitedly.

Ace couldn’t help the huge smile that appeared on his face. “They’re all doing just fine.”

“They’re all doing just fine, don’t you mean they’re both doing just fine?” Brett asked, looking at Ace suspiciously.

“No, I mean they’re all doing just fine. It turns out there was another baby, another girl.” They all sat down, and he explained to them how surprised they were to find out they were having twins. “I have to go see her now. Do me a favor and give Mary a call and let her know.”

Rosalee was laying in bed with one of her babies in her arms when he walked in and over to her. “She is so precious. I just hope our other baby is okay,” she said sniffling.

He took a hold of her one hand. “The doctor said she seems fine, and they’re only keeping her in the incubator for a few hours just as a precaution. Now I know that we decided to name this little one Rose, but what are we going to name her sister?”

“I think we should name her Micaela, that name means a gift from God. That’s what she is, another gift from God.”

He leaned down and kissed her cheek. “It’s a beautiful name, and that’s what we’ll call her.”

“Now I’m really going to have my hands full.”

“Don’t worry, sweetheart, we’ll hire a nanny to come in and help you through the day, and at night, I’ll be home to help out.”

After Eve and Brett visited for a while, they went home, and just after they were gone, the nurse brought in their second baby.

“Your little girl is in perfect health.” After congratulating the parents, she left the couple with their two babies to bond.

“I can’t believe we have twins. How is it possible that the scan didn’t detect another heartbeat?”

Ace shook his head. “The doctor tried to explain it to me, but my adrenaline was pumping so fast, and I was so excited, I didn’t catch all of it. But I remember him saying that it’s rare, but it does happen. She’s a lot smaller than her sister, but I’m sure she’s going to grow up to be very strong and wonderful like her mother and other siblings. If you hadn’t hidden those books on me, I might have been able to look stuff up about this kind of thing happening.”

She smiled back at him and shook her head. “If you’re hinting for me to tell you where the books are, you can forget it.”

He held Micaela in his arms. “I could fit her in the palms of my hand, that’s how small she seems.” He looked over at Rosalie. “Have I told you lately how much I love you?”

“Yes, about twenty times today,” she replied as she smiled back at him. She was truly happy, and now she knew why she was always so tired and sick. It was because she was not only carrying one baby but two. Life couldn’t get any better than this, she thought to herself.

“I am happy. This is the best news I could ever receive, and I love you so much,” he said, putting his arms around her. He kissed her, and when he finally let her go, she ran her fingers through his hair. “I was on the pill, and I don’t know how it happened, but it did. And I’m glad I’m pregnant again. But it better not be twins again,” she said with a big smile on her face.

Truth be told, he was afraid that if it were twins again, she would go through the same pain that she went through with their daughters. “I’m sure it won’t be. I mean, like, what are the chances of that happening again?”

Whenever Rosalee went into town to visit Ace at work, everyone would make a fuss and congratulate her on being pregnant again. Of course, the moment he got to work, he had to tell everyone that he was going to be a father once again. She was really happy to see that his personal assistant, who was a male, was working out. And Nigel working alongside Ace and learning the ropes made him an asset to the company.

Of course, Ace being the horny guy that he is, when she did come to visit, he would pull the blinds down and tell his assistant to take an early break so that he could make love to her in his office. The day that Ace and Rosalee found out they were having a girl, they sat down with the children and told them. He put his arm around Adrian. “Son, with four women in the house and only two of us, we are greatly outnumbered.”

Now Adrian, still young, could not grasp the whole concept of what was going on, so he looked at his father with a serious face. “Well, can’t you just tell the doctors to make it a boy?”

Ace looked over at Rosalee, and they both laughed before answering. “Sorry, buddy, it just doesn’t work that way.”

During this pregnancy, she was only occasionally sick, and her mood swings were not nearly as bad as the last time. Eve, on the other hand, was having one of the easiest pregnancies on record. She was only sick the first three weeks of her pregnancy, and she continued to work up until her 7th month. With both stores thriving, she hired a manager for each one and a couple of extra girls to work the store. Brett’s construction business was growing more every year, and that was also with the help that he got from Ace.

Rosalee was in her seventh month, and after they had finished making love and were lying in each other’s arms, she decided to have a very serious talk with him. “I was thinking that this is our fourth child, and I’ve decided, and I hope you’re okay with it, that this will be the last one.”

He held her snuggled in his arms and kissed the top of her head lovingly. After all this time together and the children they’ve had, he was so happy. “I’m okay with that. We have three beautiful children and another one on the way. If you’re really sure you don’t want any more, then we won’t. But is it going to be safe for you to be on the pill for the rest of our lives together?”

“Well, I was thinking that one of us could get fixed. I could get my tubes tied right after the baby’s born, or you could get a vasectomy.”

Just hearing the v-word sent a chill down his spine, and his hand automatically went down below and covered himself up. The only one he wanted working on his cock was her.

“I want to go with you when you have that discussion with the doctor. I want to make sure it’s perfectly safe for you to have it done before we make a final decision.”

Mary and John came once again to be there for the birth of their fourth grandchild and to help out. On her due date, she went into labor. It turned out that Eve also went into labor and ended up at the hospital at the same time. A few short hours later, their baby girl was born, six pounds and two ounces. They named her Kathy after Rosalee’s mother.

Brett and Eve’s triplets were born three hours later. They named them Carson, Troy, and Roy, all weighing five pounds.

Ace and Rosalee stopped at four children, and Brett and Eve didn’t have any more. They all remained friends through the years. Kathy and Carson became very close and ended up getting married. Rosalee went back to work with Ace once the kids were all grown up. She went with him on business trips, something he had stopped doing while the children were young. Nigel was made a partner in Ace’s firm.

As with every couple, they had their fights but never went to bed mad. He always treated her with love and respect, and their love only grew deeper with every passing year.
