Narrator
"Mr. Kyle, are you okay?" one of the interviewer, Jessica asked as soon as she saw him when the candidates were exiting.
"I am okay, but what about this young lady, who might have got hurt." the man said.
Liana blinked a couple of them and stammered as she spoke.
"I- I am O-kay." she said trying to exit and not be the center of attention.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yes." she said and then realized what he just said, about meeting again.
"Have we met before?"She asked looking at him.
She doesn't remember seeing his face and someone as handsome as him, how can she come across and forget his face.
"There must be a mistake- because I haven't seen you before." she said in a soft-yet confused tone.
He smiled.
"Maybe." he said. "Well, it seems like I am interrupting an interview." he said looking at Jessica.
"Not really,. We will soon have a break." she said.
"That's great because CEO Lee wants me to pass a message to you." he said looking at all three interviewers. Spare me sometime, please." he said.
"Well, see you next time?" the man said with a glint of mischief in his eyes as he look at Liana and entered the room.
Everyone gushed and whispered and looked at Liana. Liana was so embarrassed that she wanted to hide somewhere.
"You know him?" a girl from before came forward. Her voice sounded like she was very annoyed with her.
"No." she said.
"We all heard,so don't lie." another one said as they glared at her.
"I really-" Liana tried to explain, but the door of where the interview was suppose to be held opened and the man who entered, came out and walked towards the exit not before looking back at Liana.
"There is a change. The interviews are over. We are so sorry to the other people who came here and didn't get a chance for interview."
"What do you mean that the interview is over." the girl who was glaring at Liana said. "I haven't had my interview, yet."
"We know some of you haven't had your interview, but there is a change and we got an order from the CEO that the interview must be cancelled as he himself have chose a colorist."
Everyone groaned and started packing.
"We are very sorry about this." the three interviewer bowed at the exiting candidates who was complaining about how they had to take a leave from their work to come here and how disappointed they are at the company.
Liana was disappointed too because if the CEO chose the colorist for this job means, the interview she gave was of no use. She left the place with a disheartened feelings and decided to go home.
Oliver, was back to the office after his sick leave. Everyone in the office was kind of glad with the absence of the CEO. Most of them was scared of him because when he doesn't like some ideas or project, he will make them stay back and complete it or give them impossible days of time to complete it. When he is angry, he either fires someone or literally bring the roof down. When Oliver arrived for work, everyone knew that they are in trouble.
"Why does he come to office so often? Most of the CEO hardly comes to the office." one man complained as he started stacking up the files.
"Because I need to know if you guys are slacking off." A voice said.
The man gulped as he heard the voice and turned slowly towards the voice. Oliver was leaning on the wall, with his arms crossed and smirking at him.
"Do you have any problem with what I am doing?" he asked looking at him.
"No, sir."
"That's what I believe so. How was the days without me?" Oliver said looking at everyone in the room.
"It was so chaotic without you. We thought we couldn't work without you." one employee said.
Oliver looked pleased with the answer, but then said.
"Is that so? Then how come you all work without me when I go for business trips? Do you all slacks off?" he asked.
"No, sir." everyone in the room answered. "We work even harder then."
"You all should work harder now and at those time too." Oliver said. "but thanks for that answer, well see you all around." he said smiling at them as he walked towards the other department.
As soon as he left the room, all the workers sighed in relieved and few of them sat down and quickly mailed everyone in the office that Oliver was giving a tour in the office.
Office Chatroom
Girl 1: He looked so handsome when he leaned on the wall with his arms crossed.
Girl 2: Must be a great sight.
Girl 3: He is so handsome. Does he have a girlfriend?
Girl 4: We don't know, he is so secretive about these.
Girl 1: That girl must be very lucky and beautiful.
Girl 5: Do you think the girl is Wendy? that girl who keeps hanging around in the office looking for him?
Manager 5: Get back to work!
and that's how the long chat room ended.
Oliver was in his office. He was going through the files that he couldn't read because of his absence. He started throwing the files at the corner and called his secretary.
"Tell the advertisement departments to redo all their projects and ideas and I want it by tomorrow." he said and hung up.
"Cut them a slack." Jason Kyle, his right hand and also his best friend said. "They were so stress when you were not here and you came back and made them more stressful."
"Life is all about stress, isn't it?" Oliver said leaning back on his chair and smiled at him.
Jason shook his head.
"You are aware about how the company is hiring a colorist for the comic Centre and it is getting our stock higher with the strategy of good pay check to the employee? The other companies are not very happy that we are paying so much to the employees."
"They work hard for it, so why not." Oliver said. "And the public likes it. Better for us. Our shares are rising too."
"You thought about hiring anyone?" Jason asked.
"I don't know? Ain't they suppose to look for it?" Oliver said.
"I thought you had someone in mind."
Oliver rubbed his chin and seemed like he was thinking something.
"No one in mind." he smiled.
Jason laughed.
"Do you have anyone in your mind?" Oliver asked.
"None, but if I do I will hire them."
Oliver shrugged.
"Let's go for Lunch together, later." He said. "I feel like eating spicy food."
"Sure and after that I will visit the Comic Center and see how the interviews are going."
"Sounds like a plan." Oliver said.
"Did you meet that girl again?" He asked Oliver.
"Which girl? You know I was sick and couldn't get out of the house. It was so tiring and painful already."
"I meant the girl who you give your limited edition coat to." Jason said.
"Oh.... well, no." Oliver said.
"Don't you want that coat back? You made your personal shopper had sleepless nights because of that coat and didn't you say that it was your new favourite?" Jason said raising one of his eye-brows.
Oliver laughed.
"Did I say that?" he laughed awkwardly.
"You definitely did."
"I should look for her and get it back from her."
"Will she even remember us?" Jason asked.
"I doubt. She was drunk." Oliver said.
"But what if we meet her again?"
"I don't know." Oliver smiled. "Let's hope not."
"Don't you want your coat back."
"Yea, but she is weird."
"You don't want to meet her because she is weird?"
"Yea." Oliver said lying.
"The reason why I don't want to meet her is because-" he thought to himself, before he can complete it his assistant came in with some files.
"Sir, these files needs your approval." Lawrence said walking in.
"Seems like we are back to work." Jason said standing up. "See you at lunch time." he said walking out.
"Yea." Oliver said while he took the files from his assistant. "See you later."
