When I wake up I'm in the most comfortable embrace, it's the best sleep I've had in a while, arms are wrapped around my body and a smile takes over my face as I watch Aaron's face hidden in my neck,
I quietly take my phone off the nightstand and take a couple of pictures of us
He's just too cute not to take pictures of
I look at the time and see I have about 1 hour until I have to be at work
Placing a light feather-like kiss on the side of his forehead makes his arms wrap tighter around me, and his face nuzzles closer to my neck causing a tickle sensation to appear from his lips near my skin
I laugh quietly "good morning sleeping beauty, can you please drive me to my place now"
He completely ignores me, instead focuses on leaving kisses along my neck
The sensation makes breathless noises to appear out of me, I sigh when he slowly brings his face out of my neck to look at me
"Good morning" he smiles looking at my face and then my neck
"Why are you looking at my neck you big dummy" I smile confusingly
"It looks rather perfect this morning, that's all" he smirks
He's so weird.
I roll my eyes and get up to brush my teeth, as I walk over to the bathroom and start brushing my teeth half asleep I see my neck in the mirror
My jaw falls to the floor
I look at the attack on my neck with multiple hickeys, the color already vibrant and I sigh knowing I have no time to figure out how in the world to cover them up
"Aaron" I call out to him
I see him walk into the bathroom with a knowing smirk on his face
My eyes fall down his defined chest and how perfect his body looks...
Maybe I need to lay off the sandwiches and start working out,
Nah sandwiches for life.
"Take a picture sunshine, it will last longer that way" he smirks smugly, knowing the effect he and his body has on me
I smile grabbing my phone and taking a picture
He chuckles "you are aware that wasn't literal right?" He comes up behind me digging his face into my neck and kissing over the hickeys
"Look what you did to my neck" I knit my brows
"Looks perfect to me" he smiles against my skin making me shiver
"Aaron how am I supposed to go to work now?" I sigh
"Like you would any day, and you better get used to it because now that I'm able to touch and kiss you, you're going to have those beautiful little marks on your body more often" he whispers while lightly kissing my ear
I can't help but slip out the smile I was holding in
"Okay you idiot I need to go and get ready so can you please drive me to my place?" I ask laughing
"Sure sunshine, but let's make sure next time you bring a change of clothes here" he kisses my cheek

The smile doesn't slip off my face as we go down to his car, realizing he's already thinking about me being in his place again.

The minute I walk into the building I feel the receptionist's eyes on me
Just because Mr sexy attacked my neck doesn't mean I have to wear something more covering

I know she's staring but I don't let it get to me, I always like having fun with my outfits and a few hickeys won't change that,
I am about to go into my office when a voice stops me in my tracks
"Looks like someone finally got laid," a woman that I recognize that works here says with her eyebrows rising in surprise
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't" I smile shrugging
Why tell her details that are none of her business?
She hums "interesting"
"What is?" I hear that unmistakable deep sexy voice from behind me say
"That your assistant actually managed to get laid" she laughs in disbelief
Aaron's forehead creases in clear annoyance
"And what is that supposed to mean exactly" he raised a brow in challenge
She clears her throat "I just meant that she's just so happy that I can't imagine how annoying she is in bed like she probably says thank you after" she starts laughing
"That's funny cus this morning she didn't say thank you...in fact she was anything but polite" he smirks looking directly at me
I feel the heat crawling up my neck to my face
The woman's face immediately drops and the realization hits her as she looks between him and I
"You and her...?" she says in disbelief
"Yeah what about us" he raises a brow
"I just didn't peg you as a relationship type of guy...more like a one-night stand type of man," she says as her eyes rake down his body
"Yeah well your job isn't to know your boss...isn't it?" He says with a stern voice
She clears her throat "right, of course, I'm sorry" she says before running off
I sigh as I lean my head against the wall closing my eyes
I feel Aaron's hot breath near my mouth "you okay?" He says quietly
"Yeah, people are just annoying" I frown opening my eyes to see him towering above me caging me outside my office where anyone can see if they walk by
"Are you fine with people knowing we're seeing each other?" I ask
"Why would I give a shit what anyone but you thinks...I already told you what I think Vanessa" he says pecking my lips
"Yeah I guess you did, can we go on a walk during the break?" I whisper
"If that's what you want that's what we will do," he says as his lips brush mine
"You look beautiful by the way, you always do " his breath tickles my skin as he speaks
I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him
I give him a quick kiss on the lips and grin up at him, in the corner of my eye I see Henry walking in and it's too late to move because he just saw me kiss him
Though he knows I went out with him he hasn't necessarily seen anything... and we've been too busy with the rooftop to talk about anything else
"I'll see you later" I whisper against Aaron's lips
"See you later" he pecks my lips once more
He walks away and I awkwardly stand there as Henry walks over to me
"Hi Henry, Good morning " I laugh awkwardly
"Hi Vanessa, I would say good morning to you but looks like you're already having one" he grins
I feel my cheeks heat up in embarrassment of getting caught like a school girl sneaking kisses
"Come on let's finish up these last designs for the rooftop so we can start building and remodeling already" he smiles entering my office
I follow behind and we sit on my couch
We finish up the last of the ideas and designs for the project, and I exhale the breath I was holding the whole time as I look at the final idea outline with a smile on my face
"Ok I think we will be able to start little bits here and there with the rooftop tomorrow" I smile
"That's great" Henry grins
I see that it's about to be break...oh goodness we have been at this for 5 hours
I didn't even realize it's been that long
"Well it's about to be break, so I will let you do whatever" I smile
He laughs "have fun with Aaron"
"Who says I'm going to be with Aaron?" I ask trying to hide my smile
"Why else are you in a hurry for the break" he laughs
"Whatever," I say with a grin
I see his eyes look at my hickeys
Oh well that's just great isn't it
This whole time my hair has been covering my neck but now that I've moved it away from my neck the marks are very visible
He shakes his head chuckling
"This is absolutely mortifying, I'm gonna go," I say cringing in embarrassment
"It's fine you're not 13 so I can't be surprised that you don't just talk with a guy you're interested in" he smiles
"I think that just made me more embarrassed" I whisper
He stands up laughing "well then I'll see you later Vanessa have a good break"
"You too," I say smiling

I knock on Aaron's door twice and hear a 'come in'
I walk in and see he's already standing up closing his computer and walking around his desk
"Ready to go?" He asks
I nod
He smirks
"Why are you so red?" he raises a brow in amusement
"because the most embarrassing thing happened with Henry" I cringe
He takes my hand in his and starts walking toward the elevators
I can see people watching us from the corner of my eye but I pretend to not notice, I'm sure the woman from this morning spread things around the whole office by now
"He saw my neck, and let's just say it was absolutely mortifying to go through" I whisper
He chuckles as the elevator door closes
"How's the project coming along?" he asks hugging me from behind
"Amazingly, we're going to be able to actually do stuff on the roof starting tomorrow, we already had cleaners come and clear everything out yesterday," I say excitedly
"You and Henry make a pretty great team," he says and I can feel his smile on my neck
"Yeah we do" I whisper smiling
"What are you thinking? I can hear it in your voice sunshine" he mumbles against my neck
"Just how much I appreciate everything you've done" I whisper
"How do you say thank you in Russian" I whisper
I can feel his smile getting bigger "СпаÑибо" he says in that sexy voice of his ( thank you)
"Well СпаÑибо for everything you've done" I grin widely at my bad attempt at Russian
"Impeccable Russian, absolutely amazing" he chuckles
"Oh be quiet" I laugh
"And like I said each time you've thanked me, it was no problem" he kisses the top of my head
"Yeah yeah, well that doesn't mean I won't stop saying thank you" I smile turning to face him
"You can say thank you in another way" he smirks gazing down at my lips and then neck
"And how's that?" I tilt my head
He raises his finger and taps his lips
I smile up at him and reach up and kiss him
We get lost in the moment that we don't realize the elevator has stopped and opened up
I look at Aaron to see him giving death glares to someone outside of the elevator
Oh no.
Turning around I spot 4 girls staring
Well, that was embarrassing...
Well I guess now that they have seen us heavily make out maybe they will know that he's not up for grabs
I see 2 of the girls give me dirty looks as the other 2 get lost in almost a dream-like state as they stare at Aaron
And I can't exactly blame them the man's absolutely gorgeous, you can't help but get lost in his eyes and his perfectly sculpted face
"Get lost somewhere else, and stop staring " Aaron spits out
They immediately rush into the elevator and look anywhere but us as we exit
"You didn't have to be so harsh," I tell him as we start walking around the streets of New York
"Yeah well I didn't like them staring," he says with clear annoyance
I laugh "you're such a grump, let's go get some coffee maybe that will cheer you up," I say dragging him behind me
"Me grumpy? Never" he says with sarcasm as he smiles down at me
I roll my eyes, but the smile on my face doesn't leave
After we get our coffee we walk hand in hand just staying quiet and being in the moment
He picks my hand up and brings it to his lips to kiss the top of it,
He looks at me in a way that makes me forget we're outside and that there's a whole world out there because his eyes feel like they hold a world of their own, like a magical paradise I want to explore all night long
I give him a soft smile back and I watch as he stares at my mouth, his eyes soften and his thumb starts brushing softly up and down my hand.
Continuing on our walk I see a homeless woman with a dog and I immediately pull my wallet out but it gets snatched out of my hands
"Excuse you...I'm not paying for you right now!" I frown
All he does is side-eye me and take out two twenty-dollar bills from his wallet and hands them to the woman
"Rude, I could've done that myself" I mumble
"Shush and drink your coffee, with me you don't need to worry about money" he stuffs my wallet back in my purse pulling me along the sidewalk, but he moves to the other side of me so that he's on the side of the cars
I shake my head accepting defeat at this moment, he's so stubborn sometimes it's unbelievable, at least I pay for his flowers so that's something...
Lost in my own head I barely realize a woman running up to us from the corner of my eye
She looks breathtaking, her black curly hair cascades down her waist, and she has dark eyes and freckles coating her beautiful olive-toned skin
"Oh my God Aaron!!" She says grinning looking at him
"Amber hi" Aaron says emotionless
I look up to see his body tense up slightly, his brows knit in an uncomfortable and annoyed manner that makes me squeeze his hand showing him I'm here
"I haven't seen you in what 3 years?!" Amber says laughing shaking her head
"Yeah," Aaron says with a bored tone
"You look great" she smiles looking him up and down
"We should get coffee and catch up" she smiles as her face clearly holds lust
"Sorry but I'm good with getting coffee with my girl," Aaron tells her lifting his coffee cup and nodding towards me
Just then does the women look over to me
"Hi nice to meet you" I smile
"Yeah...so what are you like his girlfriend?" She asks
I look at Aaron quickly
I'm honestly not sure... he hasn't asked me that question yet
"Something like that" I shrug
She hums "well I used to date him we were together for what was it a year until you got bored?" She laughs rolling her eyes and looking at him
"You must take advantage of the early stages before he throws you to the side and says he lost interest" she sighs looking at me with fake concern
"I don't think he has any interest in taking advantage of me for my body if that's what you're insinuating but thank you for the suggestion" I smile sweetly at her, even though her proximity gives me chills when just a moment ago I was warm
"How cute Aaron you've moved on to sugary sweet women" she laughs
"Don't you have someone else to annoy?" Aaron says with pure anger lacing his every word
"Just as Insufferable as ever I see" she huffs
"He's actually very kind I don't know what you're talking about, you're the one who interrupted our nice quiet walk" I smile looking at her
"I wasn't really paying attention to how nice he may have been since we were busy with other activities" she smirks
"Too bad, you're never going to be able to enjoy those activities anymore," I say trying to hide my smile
"Unlike some people, I don't talk to someone for only sex...so I'm sorry that you were too busy choking on his dick to see that he's the most genuine and kind-hearted man you could've had" I laugh
She gasps "whatever, Goodbye I hope you choke on sprinkles" she huffs and walks away
"Well she was...nice" I laugh
I look over at Aaron to see he's busy staring down at me in a heated gaze that makes me shift nervously
"What?" I say smiling slightly
His hand suddenly caresses the side of my face as his lips land on mine harshly, it turns heated quickly and I soon forget that we stand on a busy sidewalk in New York with people all around,
I melt immediately under his touch, his lips demanding yet gentle, my arm wraps around his neck as my other one holds my coffee
"What was that for," I ask panting from the kiss as we part ways
"You have no idea how sexy you are when you take charge...especially when you put someone like my ex in her place" he smirks against my swollen lips
"Yeah well she was rude" I roll my eyes
"I mean she did cheat so I would say...very rude" he nods
"She cheated?!" I gasp
He nods smiling at me
"Well I hope the dick she's busy choking on was worth it because she made a very big mistake" I frown dragging him towards the building
He goes quite then a moment later bursts into laughter
"yeah you're definitely my favorite person sunshine, by a long shot," he says laughing and kissing my cheek
I grin "and you're mine"
