She continued calmly, “I was so frightened at the time. I wanted to take your big brother to be treated but he was 18, a grown boy, and I couldn’t move him by myself. Because his condition and treatment couldn’t be delayed, I took the opportunity when he was on the phone with Mei Feng to go up to him and rebuke him. I then demanded a divorce.”
